So there are many huge game series that are considered to be ones EVERYONE must play. Halo, FF, WoW, MGS, GTA, etc.
Whats just one of those titles that you really have no desire to play or you just cant get into? You read the great reviews and hear from everyone how awesome it is, but you really just don't care.
For me its Final Fantasy. I've never been able to get into it, everyone in the world seems to love it except me. I dunno turn based RPGs have never really been appealing to me.

Against all odds (I had to work all day) I managed to get my copy of Guitart Hero III for my PS3 today!
I am sooo psyched! I can't wait for 9:00 to roll around. This is going to rock! (no pun intended)

Yes the hardcore fans should be pleased to have their games promised on a much earlier date than it really could be completed on... every time.
If they would have originally announced the game to be released in Feb or later, we wouldn't have this problem. For the 3rd or 4th time: Its not about the game being completed in perfect form or being released before its finished. Its about Nintendo setting dates they can never meet... ever.

But if you know that Nintendo is bad at setting release dates then why bother listening to these release dates? All you're doing is ruining the actual fun you'll have with the game when its finally released.

It's been a while (again), I thought I'd frighten some people and post something. Though It's weird seeing one of my topics still fairly close to the top of the forum after all these.. years... or months or whatever.
Hum, I don't have anything too wonderfully exciting but I did do a little photoshopping sketch doodle whatchacallit the other night for a story Idea that I hope to develop (more) .. Its a story idea but its also a game idea.. and yeah. Its really raw right now but I colorified one of my concepts and I thought I'd share.

The other day I thought to myself.. how does a peanut grow? is it like a fruit tree or are the peanuts part of the root? So I looked it up and its neither.. peanut plants grow the flowers, then lower the pod into the soil to make the peanut. I find this fascinating that I've been eating peanuts my entire life but never knew how they grew..

so then I thought, what else grows weird in nature and then I thought about jellyfish.. for part of their life cycle they grow like a plant and then spawn off multiple jellyfish.
