  1. My chapters run 3,000 - 4,000 words roughly. I'm still not done with this fan fic, but if you'd like to take a glance, I'm also at fanfiction.net The one I'm working on right now is called Destiny's Fault. My first fan fic was very short, very juvinile. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/465681/ I'm hoping to complete this fic in time to submit it for the contest at Sakura Con.
  2. Great minds think alike, Tasha. My character will be fully posted when "Destiny's Fault" is finished on FanFiction.net. (See post on FanFiction accounts to find it.) But, I will say that her name is Megami, and she is part demon. She has white hair with two red streaks that come down from her temples, and she has golden eyes.
  3. I have only two stories (one in the works still, and one quite novice) and a poem on FanFiction.net. The story titled "Destiny's Fault" is still being written, but with finals coming up, I won't be working on it again until after 12/8/05. http://www.fanfiction.net/u/465681/
  4. I'm sure he doesn't. He probably has some uptight, technical sounding name for it. "It's not a fluffy . . . it is a demonic aide." But it does sound awfully adorable. The Fluffy . . .
  5. "OW!! You shocked me!!" And here's a new one . . .

    Cat Rules

My cat (Archimedes) knows he is king of the castle. . . He'll move to scratch the furniture, and if he's spotted, he'll retract the claws and act like he was "just stretching." I think he frames the Dachschund for his own entertainment. If I'm writing feverishly, he'll make sure to jump onto my notebook and lay right on it and smugly look at me like "Oh just shut up and pet me, mother." And for some strange reason, he loves to chew on metal! Rings, necklaces, foil, pens, crotchet hooks... you name it. But he's a little darling as well. Purrs like a 350 Chev small block motor!
  7. When I began at Fanfiction.net, I went there to get some kind of a dose of InuYasha when they weren't running new episodes. I agree with you. Some of those authors use such horrible spelling, grammar, and punctuation that it would give me a headache! I know that you can upload files directly from your computer . . . and it's not like MS Word, Works or Corel Word Perfect don't have a spell check and grammar check! Extreme plot distortions do upset me from time to time. I wrote one fan fiction, and I tried to keep it along with the way things have flowed in the series (to where I've seen it, I have not seen it all). I did my best with the idea I had. I don't think anyone has read it, though. Speaking of that, I need to correct some minor errors I've spotted with a final proofread...
  8. Sesshomaru ^ ^ -- I know you already said you don't know why . . . but how could someone hate Rin? I'm baffled. . .
  9. Everyone has made excellent, well-thought out arguments to back their opinions. I like that. I understand Kikyo's relevance, and I understand that she's there to ultimately help destroy or to destroy Naraku herself (dunno, I haven't seen that far yet). But, in my opinion, she should not end up with InuYasha. She has died. She died long before Kagome came along. That should not be changed. I also have my moments of thinking "Why does Kagome put up with this crap?" InuYasha is torn, and refuses to make up his own mind. So, at times, InuYasha gets on my nerves as well. At times, mind you. Re-thinking all things, I'd have to say that Kikyo irritates me because I think she's selfish to a point. Koga irritates me because he's pushy about his feelings about Kagome (it would irritate me to no extent to have a man like that after me)... But, Jaken's whining is the worst, yet, so humorous at times. It's a love-hate relationship. However, I love this show, and the irritations are essential to plot development to get you to emotionally react to the characters. I'd suffer through it all over again because I think this is the best anime series I have ever seen.
  10. Hero - InuYasha Date - Sesshomaru Villain - Sesshomaru
  11. I'll do that. But, you know, I just can't fully explain it. When I first started watching the show, I thought InuYasha was so much cooler than his older brother, and that Sesshomaru was an absolute bastard . . . but then Rin came along and it was just like he put a spell over me! He has this allure, this hypnotic grace that is beyond description. Sorry, I guess I'll just have to team up with the other Sesshomaru worshippers on this forum!
  12. Sadly, yes, they are anime hoarding bastards. But, I will look forward to seeing more of him in the shows . . . it will just make my husbands blood boil.
  13. Honestly, I can't remember if I've posted here . . . I don't think I have . . . I don't like Kikyo. I know she's vital, but she irritates me to no extent. Her attitude about "I despise all living things" ... I'd just love to see Sango or Miroku smack her upside the head with something and yell, "Well then go back to hell or wherever you came back from! No one's forcing you to stay!" The same goes for Koga. Only he's twice as loud as Kikyo.
  14. All right, time for my two cents worth. Sesshomaru has a certain sensual, yet alarmingly powerful, mystique about him. When it comes to most of his enemies, he wouldn't spit on them if they were on fire because they are not worth that much of his time. His lack of fear is the stuff of legend. In the episode when Jaken recalls when he first saw Lord Sesshomaru, Jaken is getting whooped by some demon, and Sesshy just waltzes up and off-handedly says, "You're in the way . . . move . . ." and annihilates him. I've noticed that a lot more women prefer Sesshomaru (who can blame us, he's . . . he's . . . beyond sexy. If you look up "sexy" in the dictionary, it should have a picture of Lord Sesshomaru!) Has anyone ever encountered an anime character that is so damn sexy that he can make men jealous? (I'd like to know, because Sesshy has made some men I know jealous)
  15. My Gods... I haven't laughed this hard in weeks. I'm glad I spotted this!!
  16. Ha ha ha!! I just sent Ladywriter a PM commending that page. I'm a big Family Guy fan, too. I think it's hillarious!
  17. My favorite is Sesshoumaru for many reasons. At first I though he was an arrogant jerk who just liked to pick on his half brother. But what got me really intrigued with Sesshoumaru was the episode where he finds Rin (or rather, she finds him) and he asks her "Where did you get those bruises? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." It showed that Tenseiga did not compell him to save her, he was concerned about her from the get go. Sesshoumaru is powerful, honor-driven, stylish (you have to admit, he can kick butt with flair), not to mention sexy, and patient (to put up with Jaken's whining, so would you). Second favorite would have to be Shippo because he's so absolutely adorable! And of course, InuYasha, Mr. Attitude himself.
