  1. Fear my nu kitty gundam! I just had to save it when I saw it because you just can't go wrong with a kitty gundam

  2. Considering what type of country live in they should care what children think. Completely and utterly ignoring what children have to say is the wrong way of going about things. I'm from North Dakota, I went to school in one of the lowest ranked states for education (we're 48th or 49th, I don't remember) however in my high school alone we had over 75% of the students with a 90% average or higher throughout high school and graduated in the percentage. We were continually rushed through chapters, most of us not really understanding what was going on yet we all ended up graduating with high percentages. Sadly enough today's children are a lot smarter then say 30 years ago with the advent of new technology and new teaching methods. Keeping kids in school longer then 9 months out of the year isn't going to help them understand shit. Your forcing kids to suffer through more shit when they don't want to. Making kids do things they don't want to harms them more and becomes more of a detriment to their education. NCLB is bullshit and should be thrown off the books. If kids fail they need to redo it, I agree with this. Sadly a lot of what kids learn is based off of teachers, not the amount of schooling they get. A lot of teachers these days just don't give a flying fuck what kids learn or if they even learn it (mostly seen on the high school level). If the teacher doesn't care the student doesn't care, I know I went through it in high school myself. Student mimic what their teachers do a lot of the time so thats why attitude has a lot to do with it. Considering all the problems our educational system has extending the length of time spent in school should be one of the lowest priorities on the list. Then again what the hell do I know. I'm only 23 and been out of high school for 5 years. I wouldn't have any idea how the school system works today (yes I'm being sarcastic, no I'm not trying to be an ass just pointing out that listening to younger generations gives you more perspective of whats going on. I'm sick and tired of people thinking they know whats good for someone when they have no idea what they go through on a daily basis. I, personally, hated school with a passion. However I ended up in the top 20 of my class with a 96.8% average through high school (equivalent of about a 3.6-3.7 GPA)).
  3. Not like forcing students to spend more time in school is going to benefit them any. As Dubie said it's the quality of the education that determines how much a student retains. All it's going to do is force kids to be even more miserable and in the end be a detriment to their education. We don't exactly live in a society, like Japan for example, that requires us to be so stringent and follow certain social norms. My 2 cents, plus it really doesn't matter to me. I'm done with school outside of college and each college sets their own standard for how many days your in school.
  4. I don't even want to know. Happy B-Day GG, you freaking old fart
  5. Welcome to the clan. Do beware of newb eaters, they'll eat you right up they will. Also always remember to keep your arms and legs in the vehicle at all times, we're not liable for any and all limbs that may go missing if you don't.
  6. Probably not because people are slaves to WoW. The one thing Blizzard did right was that they made the game extremely addicting. I'll attest to that and I doubt that any MMO to come out will ever truthfully dent the WoW population (not even ToR, which is looking damn good). I'll still be one of the people to move to Aion, nothing will change my mind (unless Blizzard does something that A) wows the hell out of me, makes Taurens able to be rogues, or C) does something that actually makes the game playable for casual players again).
  7. It's a new change for me as I've been playing WoW since beta and it's growing stale for me (they add nothing new, continually rewrite lore, add things that are otherwise unnecessary (Worgen and Goblins as playable races was the last straw), recycle boss fights, etc. I'm just sick of Blizzard's business model for WoW). I played closed beta for it and was rather impressed with a few things in it (like the story and a few other things). Other then those few things it feels like WoW to me but personally I just like the feeling of something new that it offers.
  8. I really don't think anything Blizz can do will stop people from going to Aion, not stopping me (I am unimpressed and a little peeved with the new expansion, completely unoriginal and lackluster). I'm going to say 2011 like DX. They still have one more class to reveal (and at the rate they've been doing it we probably won't see the last one until well into next year (probably). Who knows though, they may surprise us.
  9. Yes sir, I will be playing me one of those when the game comes out (that and a wizard).
  10. X'D, never did like using box clips in WaW. I preferred Aperture Sights (or whatever they're called), I tend to SMG snipe a lot (a form I perfected in the CoD4 MP Beta). Plus I'm a freaking maniac with the SVT-40 (best rifle in that game outside of the M1), I just headshot left and right with that thing (makes Juggernaut look useless X'D)

  11. (ignore my own visitor message, apparently I'm an idiot)

  12. Finally, I've been wanting dual attachments for awhile. I'll have to watch the video again as I was really just paying attention to the use of the riot shield.

I guess I should say I'm only a corner camper in S&D (while on defense) as it's the most reliable way to defend the crates (yea running around and killing them first works to but I prefer to wait for my prey to come to me). Otherwise, pending on play mode, I'm a run and gun type of man (especially while playing War in WaW, my K/D ratio is really fucked up).

Gah, if they do this professional thing and allow it on Juggernaut I'm going to be pissed. That is the most overused and cheap perk in the game. It's sad that player skill has been reduced to Juggernaut as of late (in CoD4, not so much in WaW). That being said Stopping Power, Steady Aim, Deep Penetration, and Iron Lungs will be my first pro perks when I'm allowed to get them (my most used ones as I tend to play sniper and spec ops based classes).

  13. Definitely out of a frosty mug. I know Guinness tastes so much smoother and better when it's drank out of a frosty mug.
  14. X'D, god damn October. If it wasn't for my birthday being in October I'd just say lets annex it just for this year.

If they don't do a public beta I'll be pissed because 4's was such a hit they'd be stupid not to use it as more hype material. That riot shield is really going to mess with Search and Destroy because you know everyone will use it, not that I mind. It'll make things more interesting and I tend to be a corner camper anyways.

  15. I'll have to give it a shot. Going to have to see if we carry it at work today and if we do pick some up to try.
  16. Ah good old Sam Adams, can never go wrong with a good old bottle of that. Sadly it's the only Amber Beer I can handle, others just taste like crap. Definitely try the Sam Adams Sledge, can never go wrong with a bottle of that after a long days work.
  17. Bleh, extra stout Guinness. I like a stout dark beer but that crap is too strong for even me. Never actually tried the Sam Adams Black Lager yet, tried most of the others though. Will have to give it a shot. Will have to give most of the others a taste as well.
  18. Freaking finally, god this game needs to come out like now.

    ps3 slim

Sigh, yet again Sony pisses me off by not allowing backwards compatibility in the new console (but the rumors of the slim have now been proven). Guess I'll just never get a PS3 (and I so want one for Heavy Rain but I can't justify buying it just for that).
  20. Nah, nothin at the end of the credits. I was hoping for one though
  21. In my opinion its a G.I. Joe flick, I mean there is no actual story to base this off of. Remember the comic and animated series are based off the toy line which had no real story. Yeah, some of the characters back stories were changed from the comic/series but overall the character played their parts like you'd expect. Quite frankly a lot of people will write this off as a action film that could of went by a different name with different organizations. I frankly think it lived up to the G.I. Joe name and spirit.
  22. I just got back from it, all I have to say is FUCKING AWESOME!!!! It's everything the guy says it is. It's entertaining, Snake Eyes is freaking awesome, lots of explosions, lots of fighting, hot Baroness, etc. Gah, I wanna see it again.
  23. I'm going to in on Tuesday with high hopes. Everyone I've talked to has loved it and says its extremely entertaining (even some die hard G.I. Joe fans). I'm old school G.I. Joe as I grew up watching the cartoon and playing with the action figures so I'm really looking forward to this. Everything I've seen on it has impressed me and I'm really only going to go for entertainment value, screw whether it's a good adaptation of the comic book/series.
  24. *updated with PSN name* Xbox 360: CarnageStrider Steam: unhallowed_deceit PSN: Carnage_Strider Don't play anything on my 360 anymore, mostly just a dvd/video player now. Those damn MMO's and BF4 keep me busy now (for MMO games I play, servers I play on, and character names PM me)
