    LEGO - The movie... wtf.

Update: Ok, just got back from seeing it. It was a LOT better than I thought it would be. Highly entertaining and funny! Totally worth seeing. Oh, and no stinger, but be sure to stay through the credits to hear Batman's song.

    ReBoot gets a Reboot!

I watched Reboot during its original broadcast on YTV here in Canada! It was actually designed and produced here, if I recall correctly. Perhaps one of my countries greatest cultural achievements? Hahaha. Also, for some reason this reminded me of a particular PSA aimed at kids that used to run constantly around the same time Reboot was airing, done in the same sort of crude early 3D animation. It basically just showed this robot running through a minefield/volcano/something like that, avoiding almost every dangerous thing, but then finally getting hit at the end which causes his arm to fall off. He then just casually re-attaches it, and says "I can put my arm back on. You can't. Play safe!" Did you guys have that in the States, or have I just described what must sound like the most ridiculous thing ever for no reason? X'D

Thats a good approach. I borrowed the first couple volumes from a friend at the end of season 3, I was borrowing 3 at a time until he just gave me all of them and I plowed through from 6-18 in one sitting. I couldn't get enough. I'm ahead of the TV series, and while I do like the graphic novel better. I love the TV show almost as much. I respect the delivery within the bounds they are confined in. The best decision they made was having Kirkman (the creator) heavily involved with the TV series. Honestly some of the events in the book wouldn't even be suitable for HBO or a movie... The best part about watching the TV show first, is that you read the graphic novel in the voices you know and love from the TV series.
