I finally got around to finishing the game, anyone else beat it yet? I'm still working on the 400 days DLC. What do you think were the biggest decisions you made in the game? I couldn't stand Lilly and Kenny.. I tried to be neutral the entire time but both of these guys ended up being real assholes, especially Lilly. I also never cared for Ben, but when I was holding him in that tower, I decided to save him. I also put a bullet in Duck's head.. Even though I didn't care for Kenny, it didn't feel right to me to let him do it himself.

I do not recommend this game to anyone. I thought it would be an enjoyable old school game that reminded me of the old 8 bit days. It actually accomplished this by reminding me how annoying those old games were with repetitive dieing and having to memorize stages to beat them in one life. The funny parts this game has in it are good, like an entire segment about Saved by the Bell, but it doesn't make up for the difficulty in some of the stages. The game became more and more of an annoyance. The side missions are much more difficult, which is fine because they are skippable, but there are certain stages in the main missions that become so damn annoying that I lost all interest in even attempting to beat the game at this point. I'm glad I only spent $1 for it.

DICE was going to make the shield one handed and work in conjunction with a hand pistol, but limitations on the older gen systems made it impossible across all platforms. Because this game is on the PS3 and Xbox 360, all versions of BF4 will be limited to weapon and gadget functionality based on what those systems can handle. Its a shame they released this game on the older consoles. Now we'll have a Call of Duty style shield instead of something unique to Battlefield. Although, this shield when used by a couple squad mates at the same time could really change Operation Metro and Operation Locker matches, assuming an M320 LVG grenade could bounce off the shield. DICE was going to make the shield one handed and work in conjunction with a hand pistol, but limitations on the older gen systems made it impossible across all platforms. Today's the day we've been waiting for It kind of reminds me of Spec Ops: The Line. -
I don't think we ever made a topic for this game, instead everyone talked about it in status updates or in a humble bundle topic. I've been playing this game and I love it. The RPG elements are amazing and this is one of the best platform game I've ever played. I haven't beat it yet, but I'm currently at 70+% completion. Just in the last 3 hours of gameplay I've gotten rediculous powerups in terms of gear. Regen and extra loot buffs on my equipment has made the game much easier. I have 12 regen points and in the down time between encounters, that auto healing really helps out and saves me quite a bit of cash instead of having to use the healing items. The extra cash is huge. I can buy so many health items now and better armor that I'm not even worried about cash at all now. The latest 3 upgrades I got were the power slide, the vine iron grip abilities and Fidget's lightening attack. That lightening is brutal when it works. Sometimes in confined areas it seems to just do a couple small ball lightenings that don't connect to enemies unless I spam the attack a couple times. It is a devastating attack. But what I'm really loving is the Fire Blast. Once I figured out I can control where the fire columns explode by doing a jumping down attack the moment I shoot the fire.. I've been able to make the fire columns appear directly in front of me or right on my character.. it is extremely brutal now that I have Fidget so leveled up. Most of the time I have the entire screen fire columned by spamming it. And all the zombie creatures in the sorrowing meadow area seem to be weak against fire. Especially those annoying wizards that keep auto teleporting behind me when I do an attack. I set a fire column in front of me, turn around, attack the guy with another fire column and then he teleports right into the first one.. then I keep up the fire attacks and he basically kills himself by teleporting back and forth into the fire. I love the dialogue in this game and most of the time I talk to every character until they start repeating themselves.. but when I got to the blacksmith, I kept talking her brother.. the guy only grumbles, but Dust kept saying new stuff. It ended up being an achievement that I thought was pretty funny at the time. I also put poison ivy in some guy's clothes because he was a jack ass. Its the little things in this game that are like the icing on a cake. Fidget has some of the best lines in this game.. There was also a time where I had to collect this guy's sheep.. and when I found the first one, I grabbed it and Fidget was completely confused about how in the hell an entire sheep could fit in my inventory.

I started playing this a couple days ago on PS4 since its a free PS+ game. I didn't know anything about it or what to expect. Turns out it is like being in an interactive horror movie. There is no attacking anything.. you are a reporter trying to document the illegal activities of an insane asylum.. but about 2 minutes into it the game quickly becomes "escape from the insane asylum". All you have is a hand held camcorder with a night vision mode that consumes batteries. The game seems interesting and it definitely feels like a horror movie. I only played it for about 10-20 minutes but I'm not sure if I'll go back to it or not because I have a feeling it'll get predictable or it'll loose its scary edge for me. I will say this.. the sound effects and timing of music adds a great atmosphere to the horror effect. Along with the night vision camera it feels very creepy. Heres is a video of other people playing it. lol.

I started playing this today because it was free on the PS3 with my plus membership.. I did not expect so much racism. Wow. The flying city looks amazing and the vigor powers are pretty cool.. but holy crap.. the racism.. wtf. This isn't really a spoiler here because you find out about this within the first 20 minutes or so of gameplay, but its like you are the FBI's most wanted and are being attacked by every citizen on a small flying country controlled by the KKK. Anyone else play this yet? What are your thoughts on it? I'm about 40 minutes in and I haven't gotten to Elizabeth yet.

I wanted to buy this game when I first saw a trailer for it. I thought it would be pretty damn funny to play.. but I held off on buying it, even when I saw it on sale, because I have too many games already. So.. turns out the Nerd reviewed the game himself a couple months ago and I never noticed: After watching his review I'm not even interested in the game now because it looks insanely difficult.

I remember playing Rambo on the original NES and it was horrible. Now Rambo has made a come back to video games.. a console generation too late. This game looks like it should have been released about 4 years ago and pales in comparison to whats on the market now. Rambo will be released on February 18, 2014. I haven't paid much attention to Star Citizen, but with the constant updates I've seen about huge sums of money, I had to look into this. Star Citizen is the project of Chris Roberts, the creator of Wing Commander. He wanted to make the best space game ever, completely funded by his fans, and he is going to accomplish it. After starting his crowd funding campaign on his own website and kickstarter last year, they have now reached over $32,000,000. Yes.. over $32 Million.
