I haven't gotten very far. All I've seen is fast taxis which take you to distant parts the current world you are in, if its non mission related it costs a small fee. There is a fast travel which is based on modules you find and scan, and this can only be used every 30 minutes... then there is a emergency pass back to base, which in my case is the imperial fleet.

Wow.. I guess I'm used to Guild Wars and Defiance. If one of my friends get online I open my map and double click on a town and we meet up.. and in Defiance its even easier. You can map travel or load your character, open your menu and click "go to friend" and just like that I'm right there.

Now that I'm thinking about it, have you ever played DC Universe Online? That was the worst MMORPG to try and find anyone in. 3 different times.. it took me over an hour each time to find my brother or friend in that game... It was completely impossible to meet up and play with anyone.
