Any campaign from any shooter is better then BF3's campaign was, I was sorely disappointed with the entirety of it (and I actually beat the damn game). If felt like a rehash of COD4's story, just done worse. That sucks to hear they toned down the humor for BC2, that was one of the major selling points for the first one (for me anyways). Going through a major firefight and hearing your computer buddies making inappropriate jokes always cracked me up. Plus the ending always makes me laugh (I'm honestly surprised they're not in a military prison at the beginning of BC2 after what they pulled).

I've gotten roughly 12 kills with the damn gun and only when an enemy is almost right on top of me, only seems to be effective at close to medium range. Only time I take out engineer now is if I die while defending a flag and the enemy brings in a tank so I respawn and rain unholy hell on them with the RPG.

I've gotten one Airburst kill since watching that video. Was camping the roof on Flag C (or should i say defending) and watching the carnage at Flag B when a sniper decided to take pop shots at me from the rubble so I decided to try it out. He hid behind a ruined wall so I locked onto the wall and did as the video said and rained hell down on him (only to be killed by a bastard who snuck up on me. Kinda wish it took less the three shots to kill somebody though. 10 shots with it isn't all that much.

It scares me to think if Jackson plans on making a Silmarillion movie, that thing would be split into at least 5 movies all 4-5 hours long (you want a hard read go read The Silmarillion, that thing is hard to get through).

Yea, Jackson left out some of the best parts of the LotR books (like Tom Bombadil, by far the most awesome character ever created). Give them a read when you get a chance but I warn you the first part of the book is freaking boring. I don't know how many times I fell asleep in the middle of reading it (the only good part was Tom).

I wouldn't be surprised by an extended edition being longer but I doubt it'll be 4 hours long. The extended editions of the LotR movies only added about 30-45 minutes a piece (not to mention all the extra crap (the LotR Blu-ray set has 15 discs! I still haven't attempted to go through them yet (yea I bought them, hated the movies but they were still entertaining)).

Did they, in any way, link it to Chronicles seeing as how this is supposed to be after it? Just wondering because that was the one thing I was worried about, didn't want to see it if it had no tie-ins with the movies (considering it's weird he's not, you know, leading the Necromongers).

The whole problem with black though is its an over used color scheme. Even worse when it replaces the original color schemes that would've stood out more.

We can't have a Blue, Gray, &/or  Yellow outfit Batman.... Nope we can only get black outfit Batman.
We couldn't (originally) have the X-Men in Blue & Yellow or any of their original color schemed outfits. Just a bunch of Black Leather Suits.
And forbid that no one in The Matrix not remind us of The Trench Coat Mafia.

So having Robocop follow along with this doesn't sit well with me at all. Even if someone were to label this as practical the whole point of any of these (Super) Heroes isn't to really be practical in the first place.

    If they were practical
Superman would wear all black as black absorbs heat from sunlight more easily.
Spider-Man fighting at night would have an all black outfit with a hard to see Spider Logo if there was a Spider Logo at all.
Tony Stark would have remotely controlled his new Iron-Man suits in every situations.
Thor would have never been cast out of Asgard because this time around he was too practical to get into trouble.
Any Super Hero (or Villain) wearing the colors of their country as their color scheme would be replaced by camouflage.
Kick Ass, Big Daddy, & Hit Girl would have easily been replace by SWAT Teams.

Even being "Practical" by using Military Forces in movies has caused movies to probably be less exciting then they could have been.
Godzilla 1998 (even though my favorite looking Godzilla) suffered from the use of Military Forces. They should've gone with a Mecha Godzilla 1998. That could have been a much better movie.
Cloverfield suffered from similar problems but with the added annoyance of a bunch of pricks from a party.
Michael Bay's Transformers.... Yeesh.... The Military Forces Had / Has the ability to destroy Decepticons without the need for Autobots to be there.

Maybe that's why we can't get a Gundam movie on the big screen. Someone is going to want it to be practical. RX-78-2 (If that's the Gundam they use) wouldn't be able to have its color scheme or its roll out color scheme. It would have to have either a camouflage color on earth or be black since that's basically the camouflage color of space. Then they would probably change it to a Mobile Armor since a Mobile Suit isn't as practical. By the time it was done making practical changes it would be like the Battleship movie.

No wonder I had the urge to defend Pacific Rim. Pacific Rim being impractical is what made it fun.

So once this Practical Robocop comes out I honestly & hopefully expect it to bomb. Because practicality is what ruins these (super hero like) movies.

Yeah really... and after reading an article about it. I have to lean towards the idea that this game was build for consoles... the watered down leveling system and as you mentioned the skill trees seem to meld better for controllers. The additional features I saw on the Playstation version solidify this train of thought for me.

I agree there sadly but it's Blizzard trying to turn Diablo into an MMO instead of leaving it true to its Action RPG roots. 99 levels and leaving it an offline game would of made this game so much better. Well that and if it kept the D2 skill trees (then again this is what happens when you let the D2 development team walk out the door to start their own studio).

Honestly MS grow a pair and stand your ground. Quit pulling shit out just to make people happy, you'll eventually just piss us off for being whiny little pussies. (yes I'm being serious here, I respected them for sticking to their guns because people need to realize (yes even us) that this will eventually happen whether we like it or not).

Sigh, MS keeps shooting itself in the foot. I'm getting pissed off more now that they're taking this shit out then I was when they announced that it was required.

Yea Sledge it maxes at level 20 so in your case you'll have 7 levels soldier and when your done 13 levels of whatever Jedi class you chose (I'm assuming Guardian).

Meh, I just left the AI on whatever was default for them. I only cared about my own ass

As for teammates I ran with Jolee (cranky old man Jedi, who could pass that up) and HK-47 on my Darkside character (I love HK-47, he's so freaking hilarious). As for my light side character I don't really remember who I ran with outside of Jolee. I kinda mixed and matched the other companion as I played through.

I always prefered playing the Sentinel since it's my play style (in fact my first play through was a Sentinel), plus the sneak attack bonuses they get in combat made me feel more powerful (especially since I was all melee and only used Force Heal). Guardian always felt like easy mode to me since it's OP due to it's strengths in melee combat (plus my fastest play through was on a Guardian). Consular just made me feel week, especially considering I did it as dark side (death field only heals so much and I just couldn't use health packs fast enough, made for a lot of frustration on my part).

Light/Dark only plays a role on how you affect your crew (not as much as in did in 2 however), not on who will join you. I believe I killed that companion as well, twice and completely by accident. First time through I didn't know they could join you and second time I did in for kicks (didn't really like that companion). Some companions like you more pending on what side you play as (like Ordo likes you Dark whereas Bastila likes you Light side as examples) but that's really all it does for you.

Taris is just such a pain  Every time i had to replay it i jsut got the mod that lets me skip it altogether and just gives me choices on specific parts to get your stats light/dark etc up to where it would be

As DX said it's just some cut scenes and you get to pick which Jedi branch you want to train in (Consular, Guardian, Sentinel). I don't believe I ever paid for the droid on either of my characters (played twice through light side and once dark). Honestly I was pissed when Taris got bombed back to the stone age after all that work. Damn you Malak. Was interesting to see what happened to Taris in TOR though.

Dantooine has quite a few side quests to do (as well as picking up another companion (if you choose too)). Not quite as long as Taris (in fact most planets won't be as long as Taris (though Tatooine can feel like an eternity)) but it can take awhile if you choose to do everything the planet has to offer.

I loved Ronin Warriors. A live action movie of that would be epic. On a side note, I tried watching the japanese version of it and wow.. the english version was completely edited.. even names were swapped with different characters.

I think he did good in it too. I've seen it a couple times now and its one of the few movies hes in that I actually bought on dvd. I don't care for most of his other roles, hes usually all action and no substance. I think Keanu needs to redeem himself acting wise. I didn't care for him in the Matrix movies, but the guy does have some acting skill, he just keeps getting roles that don't really seem fit for him IMO. Although he owned in Bill & Ted.

Oddly enough I thought Tom Cruise did a wonderful job in The Last Samurai, it's one of the only movies I actually like him in. As long as Keanu can pull it off (and not act like he usually does) I think this will be a good movie. Seventh Son looks good but honestly they have the same feel to them. Then again that could be because I've basically given up on Hollywood making good movies anymore.
