I beat the game and I loved it. It was everything I wanted it to be. Only a few boss fights aggravated me with difficulty, Hell House.. one of the bosses near the end. Not necessarily that those particular bosses were difficult, just way too long. I think maybe I just wasn't grasping the correct way to stagger them or I wasted a limit break move at the wrong time. But the final boss fight was epic. It was down to the wire thinking I could lose right at the very end because my guy's started getting wrecked, but damn what a fight.  I hope the next game comes out within a year, but then again.. this one alone was worth the wait. I didn't see any progress save to the next game kind of wording anywhere so I'm guessing the next game will start everyone off with all the characters at specific levels with specific materia and items in the inventory so its not like starting the game over from scratch. And with the bosses and enemies still unseen from the original game that are far stronger than what we've seen so far from the remake so far, it'll be easy to keep the leveling up going.
This is how a remake should be. I've played the original game at least 2-5 times all the way through, I know it plenty.. If I wanted to play it again I would, but this remake is better. The plot is more defined, the characters are far more flushed out, the character models are all beautiful and the VA talent is top notch. This was amazing. I hope they do deviate from the plot of the original more for the sequels because what they've done so far has made me love this game even more.
The whole love triangle with Cloud, Tifa and Aerith should be hitting its peak in the next game. They should be going to the Gold Saucer like in the original, and depending on your choices when you talk to all the characters during the first so many hours of gameplay it creates a branch determining who Cloud has his date with.  In the original there was a way to be a dick to everyone and end up having what I called a "bro date" with Barret.  It was hilarious, Barret had a blast.  I think there was a way to have a date with anyone on the team at the time, including Yuffie.

Everyone on SSI got the $1200 and it doesn't count towards the $2000 limit. My family members got it to and didn't have to fill out any paperwork for it. They just got the follow up letter photocopy signed by Trump as a confirmation of the deposit. And it does not count as income or earned income for taxes either.

^ they are sending checks to dead ppl as well. just enjoy your free money im sure mine would be going to ps5 fund, thats if any stores are left standing by then.

just a bit of rant..cities are burning and national guards are deployed to 20 states. thanks to corona you cant even ban face masks so its convinient for them to terrorize and destroy everything in their path. so it happens his funeral service will be held in houston next tuesday. its gonna be a big mess. im hoping itll be held at downtown so at least riot police might have some control like last weekend when rioters trashed it. they were able to shut it down and blocked all the exits for several days. if not, then im guessing southwest area will suffer big. large black population live there. they always have shootings and killings going on (but lets not profile it hurts feelings) its not safe to go there unless you are just passing through to get to galvestone. a worst case scenario would be after all this bs is over, govt is gonna impose 2nd lockdown due to 2nd wave of corona. but screw that, no one is listening anymore. 
and ppl better learn how to protect their businesses like rooftop koreans, otherwise stay the hell away. that poor restaurant owner in dallas almost died several days ago trying to protect his livelihood and now hispitalized. it so sad what they are going through and now this after lockdown already crippled them financially.

I wonder how many looters will get the CV? Pretty amazing how irrelevant social distancing is when you're smashing up shit and stealing. Some people I've been connected with on social media have completely be indoctrinated to woke culture. One of them told me razing the whole city too the ground and ruining everyone's life was worth getting the cop arrested. That's how fucked up these people are. Dude would have gotten arrested without the city getting destroyed. The video evidence is clear.. everyone was going crazy because it took more than 24 hours to make the arrest. Now he is arrested and people are still destroying property.
What started the whole conversation was this person compared the riots to the Boston tea party, and then got triggered when I said that the Sons of Liberty didn't take the tea home with them, they dumped it in the harbor, they didn't destroy the ship, and they didn't set Boston on fire. A lot of people that were upset at this murder have had their cars and businesses destroyed... And people out there wonder why people are upset at the looting and rioting. These people have no where to shop now for essentials. The elderly and disabled can't drive 40 minutes to the next town. When you inconvenience the general public, you're not going to gain sympathy for your cause no matter how righteous. Basic human nature causes resentment if someone can't live their life... they really wont give a shit about someone else dying.

The looting is some bullshit. Protest and some rioting in the region where it happened ok i can understand that. but robbing target stores and other businesses and burning random places for the hell of it in random parts of the country is just theft and vandalism. Alot of people are using the situation as an excuse to go steal crap and it's not helping the cause. But I will say I blame the f*cked up cops and the judicial system in place that keeps letting them get off the hook. That cop did murder that guy. He was kneeling on his neck arteries until he died and he should be charged with murder. The more stuff like that goes unpunished or "he was fired with paid leave" the more this kind of reaction will happen. All the cops have stun guns now. If someone isn't cooperative they can stun them and the probes stay in them and the cop can stun them again to restrain them again, etc.
I have personally talked with alot of cops over the years in NY, none recently thankfully, state, local and county cops. Out of all the ones I've had to talk to I don't trust a single one.
On another note, we hit phase 2 of reopening the economy here. All the barber shops, hair salons etc. Are all open again. Pretty much every business is open again I think except for restaurants, movie theaters and other entertainment avenues.

I'm banking on the fact that you aren't in a rush to get one, so therefore it will be the greatest console launch ever packed with amazing games.

Youtube recommended this video to me for some reason.. and next thing I know I watched 3 of them in a row. Turns out theres a couple channels for this guy. wtf. The guy builds all these mini houses with a stick and all of them have a water feature of some kind, usually a small pool.  Whatever country he lives in seems to have ground that is very sandy, at least in the region he does his builds. Some of the comments in the videos are hilarious. "this guy has more houses than the Kardashians"

I really enjoy Clone Wars. I'm into season 5 now. But I still have major gripes.. like every "escape" ever fails. Every escape ends in capture of everyone or someone where they have to go back and save them. They still fall back on silly story arcs. Like it was really getting good with the whole Savage/Maul episodes, and then we go to younglings and droids doing missions. I will say Hondo is such a great character. It would be cool to see him and Cad Bane in a future season of the Mandalorian.
General Grievous was such a wasted opportunity in the prequel movies and so was Dooku. They honestly could have canned the whole idea for Ep 1, never had Darth Maul at all and just did 1-3 with Grievous and Dooku as the main villains.
You can tell that Respawn were Clone Wars fans. They did an excellent job with Dathomir and Ilum in Fallen Order. I'm sure it was/is much more of an experience for Clone Wars watchers to go to these places.

Honestly Spotify is one of the best things I've ever come across and the best $10 a month I've ever spent. They've got a ton of shit from podcasts (quite a few in fact), pretty much an endless library of music (with some exceptions based on region, more and more stuff is added constantly (they've been adding a shit ton of anime soundtracks and I couldn't be happier)), and a ton of other shit. Quite honestly Rogan made a damn good choice (especially considering rumor has it he got $100 million+ for exclusivity). He might not reach as many people (not entirely sure on what the usage numbers for Spotify are but almost everyone I know uses it) but with that kind of money who cares.

I didn't know HeluvaGood made cheese, We have their dips down here. I'd say Cracker Barrel takes the cake here. (Not the restaurant ) They have a lot of good super sharp cheddars. For me its gotta be packaged in something different from what Kraft and store brand uses... I guess its a hangup of mine. They also have a pre-sliced bar that you can get some ritz crackers and some fancy deli meat to make some top tier lunchable stacks.

My deli has a whole case of just random cheeses. It gets really exotic around the holidays, but the rest of the year most the stuff in each category is pretty similar. They got some super sharp cheddar that will put anything else to shame in the lunchmeat/dairy case. Its just like $8 a block though. Since my company is pretty big on selling wine I guess we try to keep a large variety of imported cheeses. The big plus side to that is I can always get goat cheese when ever I want. If you like some real pungent cheese flavor, not much can top goat cheese.
 

I could have sworn there was an Astrum topic, But it was years ago when I shared his stuff so maybe it got pruned or lost in an update. Anyways, I'm combining his content with Ridddle and Anton Petrov's "What the Math" since they cover similar topics.
 

Now I need to try prosciutto. Lol. That sounds great. I'll keep my eyes out for speciality meat sampler packs at the store. I'd love to eat a fancy lunchable like that.
I've only had smoked cheese once, it was good.. but smoked mac and cheese was another level of yum. There's a variety of cheeses around here at the wineries and apple orchards and distilleries for tourism. Next time I hit one of them I'll have to take some pics. I like to get a bag of fresh cheese curds sometimes. My go to cheddar cheese is helluva good brand.


The special reserve does taste more potent but actually tastes a bit too strong sometimes so I mostly stick to buying extra sharp. It tastes great on some triscuits with a slice of pepperoni or summer sausage. Their jalapeno jack is pretty good too. But I don't like helluva good shredded cheeses. I swear they're too greasy if you melt it, like on a pizza.

I've bought the store package Prosciutto and its really good... just super pricey. There are a few sub shops around here that have it as one of the meats and I always go for it because its a distinct flavor. Its a little pungent, and slightly chewy. Its good with some salami, pepperoni, or ham. Don't make just a whole prosciutto sandwich, you'll be chewing for days. Its sliced very thin for a reason. Its almost like when you don't cook bacon long enough to a full crisp and there is that end section that's a little chewy. Capicola and Soppressata are really good too. If you ever find a sampler pack at your deli, its worth a try. My deli even has mozzarella sticks wrapped in prosciutto. And the meat dept as a fancy "lunchable" with prosciutto as well. Its not made by lunchable tho its some other brand. I can't remember the name. If they ever have one of those premade Charcuterie packages it should have some of those meats in it. I love "exotic" meats and cheeses. I'll try them all when I see something I've never had before. Cheese is a little harder, because a lot of "different" cheddars and whatnot all taste the same, and smoked cheese is hard to find around here but I loved some good smoked cheddar or gouda.

I never heard of Biltong until I ran into an Instagram ad a few days ago. I ordered a 16oz bag of sliced fatty cut from Dakota Pioneer after checking out their facebook and seeing all the super positive comments on their posts.

Season 3 the series has definitely picked up, and has started shifting towards more mature despite the TV-PG rating. But it kinda fell back on dumb situations nearing the end here. Like Ahsoka getting captured by lizard people in the middle of a war that has nothing to do with them? Really? My main gripe is how often Jedi get KO'ed and lose their lightsaber. Especially to inferior enemies like droids. I also like how Savage Oppress could become an intermediate level force wielder in a couple of days... wtf? So many Jedi have died so easily in this series.
I feel the most sorry for Padme though... not only does she have the same rib cage as 3CPO, but she's constantly getting undercut. Like all her plans fail and her friends get killed. Obviously she can't know that Palps is one step ahead of her at every corner. But even as a viewer in the know, its still frustrating to watch. The show does do a good job of making issues that you already know exist, still evoke a negative emotions.

I'm trying to understand the mechanic of the meter at the bottom. It looks like a type of stamina meter.
I doubt there is a small amount of hit points, and its the latter. I dunno if you've ever played the inFAMOUS games, but Sucker Punch has generally had the theme where you're super OP on offense, but incredibly weak on defense. So if I had to guess, they kept with that and while you hit hard, so do the enemies and they can kill you just as easily if you aren't at least a little methodical. During the samurai game play, it looked like you could parry and land a one hit kill, but some of the enemies he didn't and had to hit them 2-3 times. It looks like they had a guard meter he broke before landing the kill. I'll assume taking more time kill someone while surrounded will be risky.
Like in all the inFAMOUS games you had crazy OP powers that could one/two shot any normal enemies in the world, but all it would take would be a a few people with guns to take you out in 3-5 shots. You had to use the cover and dodge system, you couldn't just button mash and go in full charge. It was an interesting balance of satisfying offensive power, but keeping you honest when facing tough encounters.

The problem is, they'll never not touch it. Even if they make some kind of law that they can't they will. Some POTUS down the line will sign and executive order citing some emergency and take out of it. People don't care because they don't understand that it won't be there one day when it's their turn. The generations coming up after us, have no sense of self reliance or general responsibility. Also, a lot of people think it will be enough for them to live off of, which is what happened to the people I know. They thought they could just live off social security when they retire, because i assume at some point long ago, you actually could. The only way anyone could do that now is if they have their shit 100% together, have every single debt paid off the day they hang it up, and then live frugally the last years of their life.
Thankfully the company I work for has private stock you earn off accumulated hours. You can also buy some at certain times of the year. If I work here for another 30 years, I could live off the divined checks rest of my life. Apparently more people retire from my company as a millionaire than almost any other company. There are some people raking in 100k a dividend check. Of course that could always change in 30 years, some shitbags could get on the board and decide to go public and ruin everything. Seems to be my luck in this industry. The last company I worked for, people that been there for 30-40 years were making bank and ran the thing into the ground for everyone else as they hopped off the sinking ship.
Social Security should be abolished. It should be paid out to a certain cut off date for people, and when they die it should be done away with. In its place should be a federally insured private savings fund. Something you can set up with your bank. There should be something that strongly encourages people to set this up, like a tax break, and maybe while you can't touch it until you're 65, you can still collect the interest off of it while it grows. Have other options like said interest can be deposited right back into it, and you can add more into it yourself at any time. While you could up how much of your check goes into it, there has to be a reasonable base minimum. that way people can't just put $1 a week in and complain that the system doesn't work. There has to be a new system where the government isn't "safekeeping" it for us.

I put in for the week off for this. This looks amazing... and the little detail with the detection meter to actually know how close you are to being spotted is just outstanding to me.
