  1. Wow. I haven't read Edens Zero in over a year. I need to get caught back up. Everything in the trailer covers the entirety of what I've read already and it should be really good.
  2. My youtube recommendations vary over the years, I'll watch some creators and then drop them for a while as I check out other stuff. 3. One week ago my little dog Elsa had to get a surgery to remove a few bad teeth. The vet initially though it would be 2 teeth, maybe 4 max. After they did the xray they noticed she had severe bone loss in multiple parts of her jaw and the majority of her teeth had to be removed. She has 1/3 of her teeth left. :( The vet thinks it is a genetic issue that caused the periodontal disease to ravage her jaw the way it did. Shes been healing but its been a struggle. Very depressing week but shes over the worst of it now. Shes starting to feel like her old self but we're still trying to find a soft food she enjoys. More bad news is after we heard it was genetic, we checked our other dog Bella because they are cousins and she has 2 loose teeth in the front. Once we get some stimulus money we'll schedule xrays for her to see if her issue is as bad. Elsa had horrible breath going on as the main symptom but Bella's breath is fine. I hope she only needs the 2 little teeth removed. My poor babies. :(

  4. That looks like some old school fun. the last TMNT game I played was on ps4. I can't remember what it was called but it was open world 3d action based. But it was incredibly repetitive and I was completely bored with it after 3-4 hours. I blame the open world concept of it. I finally got to a bebop boss fight and then it had a timer and he disappeared. I felt like I was just wasting time and not accomplishing anything. But the old school arcade game that this new one is based off. I could play the hell out of that. Even though the old arcade game and console games based off it was repetitive at least it kept progressing and throwing new enemy types and bosses at you with new scenery.
  5. I forgot to update this.. The last half of Discovery season 3 really fell apart.. hard. 2 episodes were dedicated to another spin off show and those 2 episodes really hit the pace of Discovery hard and slowed the entire series down. Then they finally reveal the cause of the burn and it was the dumbest damn thing they could have done to explain it. Maybe if they didn't dedicate two episodes to another spin off they could have had those 2 eps to dedicate to a proper good explanation for the burn and made it a hell of a lot more impressive. Instead the final couple episodes felt rushed as all hell. Also, the last half the season they threw out more TNG canon by not referencing that the Romulans didn't even use dilithium and all their ships shouldn't have been affected by the burn.. and there was no reference to the Borg who should have recovered fine from the burn or other large species. I'd like to see more Star Trek shows, but if they continue making Discovery, they really need to hire some better writers.
  6. Ok, so we're 1 episode away from the finale. That will be released tomorrow. The first two episodes were basically Dick van dyke and I dream of Jeanie episodes. Very boring and made no sense. Third episode and the "tv reality" becomes colorized and things start to progress. Fourth episode gets better and 5th episodes and on the show is solid and extremely interesting and is true Marvel movie quality. By the 8th ep all the tv show stuff at the beginning of the series makes complete sense and the series is awesome. I'm expecting some huge battle for this finale and probably some giant reveal for the Doctor Strange 2 movie. Maybe we'll see some huge actor like Keanu Reeves show up as Mephisto or something like how we got that hint of Thanos at the end of the Avengers movie.
  7. Its probably just my account, Sony hates me like Facebook hates me. lol. Facebook screws everything up on my account with them too. My feed will show stuff from 3 days before with a sprinkling of posts that actually happened that day. But for the PSN store, I could see why my Firefox wouldn't load it correctly because I have ublock origin and add block installed.. but the site does the same issues to me with google chrome and I don't have any plugins/addons installed on it. Even the PSN app on my phone screws up half the time and I cannot get any free games through it on the Tuesday the games become available. If I use the app to add my games to my account I can only do it about 2-3 days later, then it'll work for some reason.
  8. I have to use Microsoft edge browser when adding my ps+ games. Firefox and Chrome both let me log in but says all games are full price and doesn't recognize my ps+ membership. Sony's PSN website is complete garbage now imo.
  9. Heres an odd thing... When logged into my PSN account, I don't even have the option to buy the PS5 version and it has no information about a downloadable PS5 version for existing PS4 digital version owners or any info about buying the new DLC separate. I'm guessing they'll add the standalone game and separate DLC as two different purchase options soon and it'll update my account showing that I own the PS5 version and how to buy the DLC. They probably have this "Not available for purchase" as a prevention so they don't have to issue a bunch of refunds for purchasing a game twice at full price.
  10. I finished playing Final Fantasy XIII a couple days ago. I put in just under 100 hours on it and honestly had a lot of fun with it. The plot was a bit overly complex and it played out the first part of the story in a series of flashbacks that was very popular 10 years ago like Lost and other shows and movies. It was done ok and the datalog had all the reference material in it to keep the story moving along without getting confusing. The game was very linear until you get to Pulse, but then the game slows to a crawl if you do all the Pulse side missions. Pulse is where the game gets more "open world exploration" and to me open world games are becoming more tedious and time consuming. I want a story not endless exploration that doesn't further a plot. I remember when this game came out alot of people hated it but I didn't know why. Lady played through it twice and loved it. Now 10 years later I finally played through it myself and had a good time. I really liked the characters, except for Hope. That guy annoyed me and once I could customize my own party I never used him again. The character models looked great, everyone was beautiful and I loved having strong female characters. All the scenery looked amazing too. I need to set up a command chord on my xbox controller so I can take screenshots on my PC. I would have loved some screenshots at a couple different locations. It was also nice that once you could customize your party you weren't limited to having a specific team leader on at all times, you could play as any character. The combat is extremely simple at the beginning of the game. You basically "auto command" and the game basically AI controls everything, attacks, spells, etc. This seems extremely boring and simple at first, but as I progressed through the game you get paradigm shifts that change the complexity significantly. The Auto command basically helps you input the commands fast because the ATB moves so quick, especially with haste, you're much better off using the auto command to get attacks off faster and focus entirely on the paradigm shifting to change the combat roles on the fly for all the clutch moments of healing, inflicting and removing status ailments and buffs, defense, offense, etc. After a good 20 hours into the game the real combat is basically shifting paradigms all the time. What I also found interesting was the AI would auto adjust itself to the most effective means of killing an enemy based on the intel gathered from the enemy and what status effects everyone has. Using the Libra technique to get more info on enemies was vital. Overall combat was actually pretty damn fun once it got to this point. Aside from the party leader death issue.. if the party leader dies its an instant loss even if you have another character with the raise ability. I thought that was dumb, but the game does have a "retry" option for every battle that compensates for that. There was some aggravating moments though, the mini map and main map not being locked to north was beyond annoying and enemies not dropping gil was the dumbest thing. The only way to make money in the game was to either find it in chests or sell specific premium drops from enemies, but after a while, gil was pointless as I never had to buy a single weapon since they could all be found in chests. Upgrading weapons needed a massive tutorial that was completely absent from the game and I had to find guides online. Upgrading accessories was completely pointless when better quality ones could eventually be found in chests. I really don't understand why they did the money thing in the game at all. Every other FF game lets you kill monsters, get gil... makes no sense. And there were some enemies that I came across that straight up kicked my ass out of no where. I could be owning all kinds of monsters, leveling up stronger and stronger.. hey look at that monster, I'll go kill him. *monster instant wrecks me like I'm a level 1* wtf. Moments like that were extremely aggravating and the game doesn't go out of its way to tell you some of these monsters were meant for later in the game and doubling back to kill when you are stronger. Some other bosses were strong as hell to compared to the monsters leading up to them. And near the end of the game, I pretty much had to grind up to get a bunch of leveling done.. which meant alot of pulse open world missions. Those were fun for a while especially once I got teleportation stones unlocked, that took care of an ass load of back tracking. Thankfully I did a good chunk of all those pulse missions before the last couple chapters of the game.. because once I got to the end of the game the monsters became straight up powerful as hell. I realized if I didn't do those extra 20 hours of missions and leveled up, I'd have probably rage quit at the end because of these monsters. lol. Like every monster fight of regular enemies in the last area of the game was the equivalent of mini bosses. The ending could have been a bit better, but overall I highly enjoyed it. I started the sequel yesterday.. and it is already a very very different game. lol.
  11. Interesting. I find that a bit whacky on Sony's part. Their online store is horrible now ever since they revamped it for the PS5. But even before the website changes, whenever I had a free ps+ game it never gives me the option to buy it digital again. It just says "download from library." So if someone gets the ps4 free version of FF7 but then the digital version goes on sale for $30 or less with the free ps5 upgrade, they are now locked out from buying it and their only option to get the ps5 version is to now buy the ps5 version at full price. Seems like a dick move by Sony to get more money out of people.
  12. Damn that sucks ass if thats the case. I would have bought 10 more crunch bars for this DLC.
  13. I'm very shocked that FFVII is going to be free with PS+. I don't regret buying it at all, but its still surprising to see such a huge title come to PS+ especially since it will unlock the PS5 upgraded version too.
  14. This DLC better not be restricted to just the PS5 version or that will piss me the hell off. It looks awesome though.
  15. I got a root canal today. F*ck that. Took 1.5 hours this morning. The tooth wasn't cracked so it didn't have to be pulled. But he had to cut a couple millimeters off my jaw line in between the 2 teeth so a crown could get properly mounted. The inside of my jaw looks totally jacked right now. And he accidentally cut the base of my tongue because I guess I moved it by accident. That hurts more than the jaw right now. I have a temp filling in the tooth and it the tooth looks like a square. I have to let this heal for almost a month before I can get a crown molded for it. Fml.

I hear ya. He put a bite block in my mouth so it would force it to stay open. My old dentist wanted me to go to a specialist that was a solid 50 minute drive from my house and wasn't covered by my insurance. I couldn't afford that. My insurance did cover me with aspen dental so I went to the one that was 15 minutes from my house. I hated the aspen dental I went to 10 years ago but this was a different newer location and everyone seemed much more competent. So far so good and I seem to be healing.

My jaw and tooth hurt but it's nothing compared to the initial infection that actually killed the tooth. That was a brutal 3 weeks. I couldn't let any fluid touch that side of my mouth or it'd trigger a mini migraine.

Oof, yea that initial infection is a bitch. My tooth literally collapsed on itself (when I was younger my mother insisted on sealants so the tooth literally decayed under the sealant until it couldn't handle anymore pressure and cracked).so when the infection hit I couldn't do anything that was hot or cold. If it wasn't room temp it was going to be intense pain. That is until I found to wonder that is Orajel, good god is that stuff amazing (for the initial 4 hours, once it wears off it's pain city all over again).

Yea, I had to go to a specialist since my dentist wouldn't do root canals. Weirded the hell out of me since I thought dentists were supposed to do them, not oral surgeons. Then again with how incompetent my dentist was it was probably for the best she didn't do it (I've since changed dentists since she decided to start her own practice and I moved to the other one who actually ran the practice she was working at. Much more competent).

Orajel only worked for me for about 20 minutes. x_x The pain screamed right through the orajel which surprised the hell out of me. I think it was because the roots of that tooth was so crazy long.

  16. The trailer alone is already far superior to the original movies.
  17. I was thinking that same thing. they would need a serious crew for repairs, engineers for replacement parts, resources to feed those people, etc. Maybe they're pulling a Netflix godzilla anime move with how they did with their version of mechagodzilla. "It's nano machines and it'll repair itself with raw materials from the soil." Super lazy writing if that's the case.
  18. Looks good, but I don't get why there isn't more mechs. Maybe the trailer is purposefully not showing stuff to not ruin it which is fine with me. I'll definitely be watching it on day one.
  19. HBO announced they have cast Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie. As long as Pedro grows out a good looking full beard I could see him playing the part. He should bulk up a bit though to really fit the part. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/last-of-us-game-of-thrones-breakout-bella-ramsey-to-star-as-ellie
  20. The Hobbit trilogy in 4k are completely different cuts of the movie. I had no idea. I was skimming through youtube tv the other day, put on Battle of the Five Armies in the background while I got some stuff done. Then when I sat down I figured I'd finish the movie. I put on the 4k version instead and wtf. Not only is the movie visually stunning.. I had no idea my tv could look this good. I could see every strand of hair on everyone's head and everything was so crisp I could almost tell when scenes used a green screen to film. But what really blew me away was all the extra scenes and the gore. Its like this is the R rated cut. WTF.

Bodies getting crushed, heads and limbs getting cut off and blood.. blood everywhere. WTF. And theres one extra scene where Thorin jumps on a goat and is like "I'm going to the top of Raven hill to kill that Azog bastard" and Dain says "How do you plan on getting past that army?" 6 more of Thorin's dwarves show up in the war chariot. Thorin: "We'll manage." and then theres like a 7 minutes scene of them tearing ass and mass murdering orcs on their way to Raven Hill. WTF. In the original movie, Thorin says he'll go to Raven Hill to kill Azog, the scene changes and we see Thorin and the others on some mountain goats ascending the hill. The amount of blood and gore in this new scene is brutal. I was shocked. But it was f*cking awesome.

Now I need to watch the rest of the movies in their 4k versions to see what else is new. I read the LoTR 4k versions are also getting new scenes.

Cool. O_o i only watched LOTR original triology. never watched anything beyond that. but im planning to watch LOTR series coming out on amazon.

"i could see every strand of hair" rotfl my first moment i noticed that was when i first tried Roku channel with TCL TV. i only watched hells kitchen with that and it wasnt even HD. so i played a movie Forever Young and i thought something was wrong with TV screen because im like whats that on their face and arms? they look fuzzy wtf..as i looked closer im like holy shit i can see their face/arm hair XD

and when did they convert old tv shows to 4k too? im watching little house this morning in my amazon library and picture looks amazing! BUT then why arent my old SD and HD movies automatically convert to UDH like that? kinda greedy they want full retail price for the same movies i paid for.

I know some movies will get auto AI upscaled to 4k depending on the hardware. Like the newer Nvidia Shield will upscale like that. But I guarantee whatever upscale it could do for my 1080p hobbit would be nothing compared to the remastered 4k version.

I can understand why some shows would cost more for upgraded versions. I can't find the article right now but when Star Trek The Next Generation was remastered into HD, they had to redo all the cg space and ship effects for every episode. Mainly because the upscaling process for the original cg made the entire show look like garbage with a $10 budget. XD

  21. That sucks that they're getting reactions from the vaccines. I wonder if they're getting the same one my doctors and dentists offices are getting. I had a virtual appt with my doctor a couple weeks ago and he said him and all the other doctors and staff all got their first doses a few weeks before my appointment and nobody had any side effects. Same with my dentist. I'll have to ask them what vaccine they got. I'll see about getting that one myself.
  22. Almost all hdcp errors I've ever come across is because of the hdmi cable. Different hdmi cables are all different versions, they all look the same and none of them say what kind of hdmi cable they are printed on the actual cables. Kind of aggravating to me. I test hdmi cables with my ps4. I'll plug the ps4 into the TV with one cable, check to see if I can turn on HDR, if it works that cable is at least a hdmi 2 cable. If you need a new cable I highly recommend bluerigger. It's the only one I'll buy anymore. https://www.amazon.com/BlueRigger-Rugged-High-Speed-Cable/dp/B003XM1WE0 My Samsung is a 6 series. 23. What do you need 3 tvs in a single room for? 🤔 I'd like to upgrade from the 50 in my living room to a 60 or 65 but I'd also have to wall mount it and get it delivered because any TV that big would never fit in my car. I like my Samsung TV but the particular one I have has a slight sound delay issue that annoyed me. I got used to it after a while but if I actively paid attention I could see the delay in the lip sync but it was more noticeablewith my old surround sound. The TV speakers still did it but not as bad. Ever since I bought a new receiver to get my surround sound working again all my devices connect the hdmi directly to the receiver and there is no audio delay anymore since the TV doesn't produce sound anymore.
  24. Almost a year later because of covid... Vikings was sold from History channel to Amazon and Amazon Prime has the last half of the final season. I finished it last night. Great series. I loved this show. The show definitely hit its peak back in the day with Ragnar, but Lagertha and Bjorn really carried this series till the end. In the final half of the last season, Ubbe, Ivar and Hvitserk really shined as main characters. And by the final episode it definitely felt like the end of the age of the Vikings.
  25. Oh damn. I'd love to see Mechagodzilla in this too.
