This is where I assume they wanted to take COD... There was a big struggle during the development of MW2... Infinity Ward wanted it to be called Modern Warfare 2 without the COD line, and the preorder boxes on the shelves months before release were exactly that... Activision stepped in and pretty much put the foot down that they didn't want to see COD go in the direction that IW had envisioned... a few months after MW2 came out the co-founders were canned, and 60% of the studio followed. Its just a shame they are exclusive.. they are losing out on a lot of money.

After watching the gameplay again I'm noticing two things that are very important to me. This guy is playing exactly how I'd play, reload after every kill run-n-gun.

1. The guns take down enemies as fast as COD:MW2 stopping power perk

2. Reloads are as fast as slight of hand perk.

I hope there are no "perks" and the weapons behave this way automatically... They're already walking the fine line by heavily incorporating what they had accomplished with COD in this game. The fact that Treyarch and IW 2.0 have watered down the gun stats and purposely delayed the reload time on weapons while at the same time removing two of the most popular perks in COD history has really hampered my play style.

I hope this game has no perks or score/kill streaks. Considering mechs are in the game, thats bonus enough. :D I noticed that the Up D-pad is for calling in a titan and it looks like there is a delay in how often you can get a titan based upon it's build time.. but the other D-pad buttons don't seem to be for anything. Maybe different weapons or special attacks will fill those slots. Either that or they'll be used for other random features not shown in the demo, like maps or loadout switching.

I think the titan is a killstreak, but possibly the only one... I hope they don't keep repeating that its ready for launch as rapidly as she was... it was kinda naggy. Seeing as the Titan type was indicated once you entered I'm wondering if you level up your titan COD style, or how many kills/points you get before dying dictates what type of weaponry your titan is equipped with. Also, I notice that 2 people on the team already had titans to start the match out... I wonder if that is randomly selected, or maybe there is a mini game in the lobby that the top 2 players get to start out with Titans... I'm definitely interested in some more detail about this game.

Titan streaks wouldn't seem too appealing to me. I'd rather see the Titans have customizable load outs based on leveling up. Then you could have a soldier and titan loud out. I like a more balanced game. Its more reasonable to me for a player to get an upgraded rocket launcher for their titan as opposed to killing 10 guys in a row and getting a titan dropped off with a rail gun that can do 1 hit kills. If this game is more squad based instead of teams of Rambos, then I'll be very interested in playing this. I hope they release it for PS4 at some point, because I won't have a computer that could play it for a long time.

This is impressive. This is the kind of next gen game enhancements I was expecting from the Call of Duty series.. but where Ghosts keeps with the standard format, Titanfall looks like a game I'd love to play. Its a shame it won't be on PS4. I'll have to get it for PC eventually.

Seeing as its made by the true Infinity Ward I'm not surprised. I really think this is the direction they would have taken MW3 or Ghosts. The Goal was future warfare because Treyarch was moving towards their modern territory from WWII games. Activision wanted to play it safe and continue to do so with the same crap. I see innovation here... much like COD4 was innovation for the FPS.

The air jumping and titan combat is very impressive and should make for some great multiplayer, but I'm not seeing any major class differences. Its probably like CoD in that regard, mix and match whatever gear you want.. As for the campaign, they need to have a good plot to go with this to solidify it as a franchise. However, depending on how Destiny plays when it comes out, Titanfall might just fall to the curb.

There isn't a solo campaign from what I've read. It looks like there maybe some co-op missions with objectives.... those epilogue sessions makes me think that. This is going to be mutiplayer only... much like how Battlefield use to be. Yeah I doubt there are classes.. its just a FPS where you pick your loadout. The Wall strafing aspect is what is most interesting... it can be awesome, or it could be frustrating. Hopefully they copied Brink in this aspect... Brink's gameplay mechanics were awesome... and that was about it for that game... half the time you didn't know WTF was going on or why you were doing what you were doing. lol

lmao. I've heard many mixed things about Brink and decided to never give it a chance. :P Co-op would be good for this game. Have a squad work together to complete a mission against AI.. Defiance has that now with numerous co-op missions but its mostly four people running together killing all enemies on the map. But for FPS, I really enjoyed the BF3 co-op, it had specific things each person had to do, like sniping or helicopter flying while the other person is the gunner, etc.

The parkour system was nice, it automatically made you jump, slide, and walk over any obstacle like staircase railing, tables, etc... it was nice to never get snagged on a doorway or small bump on the ground. Yeah the battlefield Co-op was awesome... I loved Drop em like Liquid.

Nothing pisses me off more when i get snagged on a busted up car I'm running by on COD either because I ran by it close, or some jackass on my team is running next to me and pushes me into it, and then I get killed because I of it. The only thing thats as aggravating is a teammate deciding to follow you when an air scorestreak is attacking making you a more likely target for a double kill opportunity.

The campaign sounds good.. co-op vs AI and other players.. but the campaign is always online. I have a feeling more games will be online only, even in single player, just like MS was intending to begin with. This isn't a problem for me because I've been playing online only single player games since Guild Wars 1. But people with bad internet connections might as well stay away from this game. I do know a couple people with internet problems and one of them prefers CoD just because he can play offline multiplayer against a bunch of bots. Its not the same as real people, but at least he can get his game on.

Titanfall on PS4, PS3? It looks like Titanfall might end up being a timed exclusive for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC as opposed to being an outright exclusive for Microsoft. The PS4 and PS3 might get this ground breaking FPS game in the near future. Of course this is all speculation based off a youtube video. If Titanfall does make it to the PS4, I'll definitely buy it.

Rumors have been flying since the unveiling of Titanfall that the game would eventually come to PlayStation 4 and PS3. Most gamers suspect Titanfall to be a timed console exclusive on Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and Respawn Entertainment has even hinted as much, saying that a PS4 version is "definitely not out of the question."

Some potential evidence has surfaced in an exclusive

interview with Respawn. A post on Gaming Bolt (via NeoGAF) has pointed out that the video shows a DualShock 3 controller in plain sight. Meanwhile, a blurred black box bears resemblance to a PS4 or PS3, and could be a dev kit of either.

Go to 2:38, there is a censored out Playstation system with PS3 / PS4 controllers sitting near the monitors.

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
