  1. Normally I'm not a fan of live-action adaptations for manga and anime but I gotta say the Blade of the Immortal movie live-action adaptation was fucking amazing. Gory as fuck, full of action, and just down right fucking awesome.

    Please note that I have not read the manga, I've only seen the anime adaptation so I don't know how well they adapted it but I gotta say just based off of what little I know they did a stellar job for having to cram that much story into a 2 1/2 hour movie. Definitely recommend it if you're looking to watch something along these lines (and hell if you read the manga maybe you can tell me how well they adapted it), can't go wrong with senseless violence.

      I've seen the trailer for this and it looks pretty sweet. I'll have to check it out. I don't know if the Studio that did all those Tony Jaa movies did this one, but its their page that is always sharing it.

      I haven't read the manga or seen the anime. I'll skip both and watch this movie instead.
