So I'm going to go find a hole and hide in it for the next 4 years, anyone want to join me? I have snacks and video games. (This is all I will say on what happened yesterday).

Honestly I'm not worried about Trump, Congress will keep him under control and on a short leash. He'll have to play nice with them to get anything he wants done done. I'm worried about his VP Pence and who he chooses for his staff. The rumors I've been hearing are making me seriously consider leaving the country. Pence alone is bad enough (the guy seriously needs a rude awakening to how the world works).
I still say we were screwed no matter who got the presidency but I feel America just trolled itself hard and it's going to be a long 4 year troll at that (I didn't vote so I know my opinion ain't worth much but it just bugs me America thinks Trump will do a good job (or should I say White America)).

Yeah, its not about who is most qualified sadly, its about who can fundraiser. Except Trump, he didn't raise anywhere near the amount of money Clinton did. Instead he trolled the media into giving him all the air time, and now they're all scratching their heads wondering how he won. This election proved the saying of "All press is good press".

MSNBC was the equivalent of a 24/7 Trump youtube channel. They would play a video of trump speaking at least once every five minutes and then comment negatively about it. They were perpetuating "hate watching" but failing to grasp that people watch youtube videos for the videos and skip most of the commentary. For a left leaning network they aired more coverage of Trump than Fox News over the last 1 and a half years. I flipped thru and watched all 3 major networks occasionally over the course of the election and all they ever did was give trump endless free media coverage.
Kanye West will have a chance with the same strategy in 4 years.
