25 hours after my first charge and I'm down to 13% battery. I've been using this phone all day to. My old phone would have needed to charge over 12 hours ago. Not bad. 

I keep my phone usage to a minimum if possible and only really use it to check email, Twitter, and Instagram when I'm not home near a charger (and my computer) hence why I tend to get good battery life out of my phones. If I actually did what I've been doing over the last three months of being unemployed I'd probably have to charge it three times a day (I've been playing a lot of mobile games and I mean a lot). Signal strength around here is hit or miss but we've got two 4G towers in the area and Verizon has pretty good coverage out here in Western ND (the only one, AT&T sucks out here and Sprint/T-Mobile don't even have coverage in my area) but my old Droid Bionic had a hard time getting a connection which really drained my battery while I was at work (for some reason Walmart out here was like a dead zone for that phone).

I use Samsung's built in app/task killing service now. I used to use TasKiller on my old phones that did a good job but since the last major Android update (not the newest one where my phone switched to Marshmallow) it fucked that app up and it doesn't work anymore. Samsung's service does a damn good job of keeping my battery life up (plus I have my phone in power saving mode and have my screen brightness turned almost all the way down) and actually kills the right apps/tasks, where TasKiller liked to kill everything. I honestly don't know what Samsung phones have the service built in (I'm assuming everything from the Note 4 up but I'm not entirely sure) but I'm assuming yours might (unless it's a Note only feature but I highly doubt that).

I dug into everything installed on my S7 and for some damn reason Verizon removed the "smart manager" samsung app from their build. Wtf Verizon. after looking in YouTube it's the exact app I would prefer to use for battery optimization and Verizon doesn't have it available. I do like the fact that bloatware is very minimal on this phone. My S4 had so much pre-installed crap that was only disableable and not Uninstallable that those apps would take up way to much space and would run in the background all the time. But this S7 only had 1 app I had to disable  (NFL), aside from that all the "galaxy essential" apps are located in a widget and it gives me the option to actually download and install them now instead of having it all preloaded. I looked thru those apps and there isn't a single thing I want except maybe the Samsung video player. It's nice to have a boy more control over my phone, but then I see the smart manager was removed. Ehhh. These companies are trying to encourage ppl to not root their phones and install a custom / unbranded android OS by not having shit tons of preloaded apps, but they need to keep all default apps available to. I hate knowing there are great features available for my model of phone.. but not mine specifically.

On a side note, I visited the GW2 forums today out of curiosity since I haven't been in forever. Its so funny to see how Thief is talked about like Necros were for the longest time, Necro is loved and adored now. If only Ele got knocked off their perch it would be amazing. Even on reddit when someone asks what class to play, the Ele mains come chiming in with their ele master race blah blah. Ah I got to experience what it was like to be at the top for 3 days with #SymbolicAvenger #Guardsway2015.

Lol. Ever since I stopped playing pvp I stopped looking at the official forums. I remember the warrior forum being salty for a year but now the condi warrior is good again.. but only in pvp unless we get accessories with stats only obtainable from LSW2 achievements or from the raid. Imagine if berserker stats accessories were only available by completing every jumping puzzle in the game instead of from the laurel vendor. anet needs to rethink what they consider rewards.

Ele is probably still the best because you only need one build for it to be strong. As a warrior I have to keep swapping my build depending on what content I play because warrior traits are a mess. Most of the time if I'm solo I'll stick with one build, but if I'm in a dungeon I keep swapping between 2 trait lines and re-equipping my warhorn depending on if one part requires skipping mobs.

I would recommend reaper for everyone. Just set it with berserker stats and have fun.

WTF.. another chapter another horrible plot twist. Once again a major character that died is actually alive again.. and another major enemy was just defeated with the emotion of love.

lol. I'm surprised there are still 9 chapters left. Unless some enemy comes back to life to do another fight (this would not surprise me at all), then these last 9 chapters are all basically going to be an epilogue since there are no enemies left to fight.

Sometimes if it's real bad it lets me freely shoot giant snot rockets until I empty out my sinuses.

Yeah the menthol burns like crazy, but damn it works. It reminds me of Listerine, and why I don't use any of that "no burn" stuff Crest and others make... it just doesn't feel like its working unless my gums feel like they are being bathed in acid and fire.

I do a bit of smoking during the summer... and had the same problem last year. The best solution I found was to add a separate coal pan under my water pan, that way it was using it's own heat source, and keeping the water at a more stable temp. Still had to add more water every hour, though...

Thanks for the suggestion. I made some modifications to my smoker last weekend, but I haven't had a chance to try using it again. I added a new thermometer, a damper to the bottom to allow me to control airflow, and 3 bolts to the charcoal pan to place a grate on so the ash doesn't choke out the air flow.

I was also using royal oak lump charcoal.. turns out the lump charcoal was burning very hot and fast, especially since I couldn't restrict air flow. Also, the lump really added a strong smoke flavor. Way too much. So I'll be trying out kingsford blue briquettes next time. Next time I use the smoker, I'll take pictures to upload so you can see what it looks like.

I think this is one of the reasons Funi VAs sound the same so often. Some of them have a wide range of voices, but they are doing so many projects at once, its too mush of a hassle to change it up a lot

Plus, it would be difficult to get back into character on a series you haven't worked on in a while waiting on Funi purchases more seasons of it. Heck, even Bevis on the last season of Bevis and Butthead sounded a bit different after such a long hiatus.

I can believe that. Funi acquires new series and seasons so frequently, they probably have all their VAs on a monday thru friday 9-5 schedule.

I claimed every battlepack except for the last day. That 6-8 hour marathon only happened a couple times in February for me.. but I did play at least 1-5 rounds every day until the last week.

Hmmm, I think that's why I liked Archer. He wasn't bogged down by the rules and was willing to make choices he felt was necessary to further, sadly, humanity's goals in space. Sadly I turned mine in for a bigger badder ship known as the Manticore Heavy Destroyer but that Phantom is still a nice ship (and it comes with cloaking too). The wonders a 30 some year jump in the timeline does for technology (STO takes place 30 some years after the event of Star Trek Nemesis (about 22 years after the destruction of Romulus)).

I wish I had more time for MMOs. I would jump all over STO and SWO for my scifi fix.

God damn I think FedEx in my area pays $16 minimum for a warehouse position ($22 an hour if you become a driver). No wonder they can't hire quality people

See I have that problem with UPS in my area. Almost every package I get through them is usually banged up (luckily nothing has been damaged). FedEx is generally the one you want delivering your package around here.

Thats what surprised me the most was the hourly wage. Most fast food places around here start off around $16 an hour if I remember right. $13.25 is incredibly low for warehouse work. They pay crap for crap employees apparently. x_x

With those wages they gotta take people that basically have no where else to go because they have no references from getting fired and burning bridges.

Yep.. same thing was happening today. I tried the 40x scope with the L96 for the first time today to. It was pointless with the rubberbanding at distance. That and without a range finder, I really couldn't tell where the bullet was landing because of the massive arch the bullet travels at for that gun. I need the SRR.

I got so good with that arc it was like the bullet was a basket ball and someone's head was the hoop.

lol. I think the 40x is too much zoom tho. I want to try one of the 20x scopes but it looks like they are all only available via battlepacks. I'll probably never see one.

there is one boss that spawns a healing turret for herself and shes impossible to beat with too many people because her turret scales up as well and she gains all her health back before it gets destroyed. It takes 45 minutes with a decent group that at least splits into 2... but most times it takes an hour or more to beat all the bosses. I generally don't jump in unless the healing turret boss is already down when I arrive.

All the Bosses are level 80, and the cool part is everyone is scaled up to 80 in that area... so everyone can have a fair chance to contribute. After all bosses are downed a donation fund is set up and you can donate a little or a lot. You get the same amount of XP even with the smallest donation (1 silver). The boss blitz starts once the set amount is achieved.

Now that's pretty awesome. I like that the lower level players can enjoy the fight too.

NY has voted democratic for i think the last 9 presidential elections. I figured if any republican had a chance at flipping it, it would have been trump. But it looks like he's ignoring this state, at least for now. This could easily turn into a tied race at any point. I agree that the debates will be huge deciding factors for alot of ppl.

He has the best chance, and it would be a killing blow to Hillary to win NY. I don't see it happening. I want to say Reagan was the last to win NY and CA for that matter. 

Nier and ME have been relaxing after I grinded out machined weapons. I'm taking a break until LWS3. I'll get in some SAB here and there, but that took a toll on me.

I finished up my Gift of the Raven. I still have to turn it into the Gift of Nevermore which isn't difficult at all at this point. I wanted that part done before SAB started. I hope they patched the exploit of selling tribulation runs. They allowed the selling of trib runs last year but said they would patch it. Since they allowed it I went ahead and bought all the runs of world 2 that I needed to get all the green weapon skins and the red SAB infusion. If its not patched I might feel torn about buying all the runs I'd need for the yellow skins just to get the blue SAB infusion.. I'd feel torn about it because I'm a bit burned out on infusions now, but the blue one would actually look decent with my fractal back piece. But I also have just enough gold left to finish Nevermore.. lol. I hope it's patched.

Make sure to do your daily 3 SAB events like last year for the multiple daily meta achieve. I got a late start on it last year and only got 1 of the kaiser weapon skins. If we do the SAB daily every day this festival we should be able to get at least 2 kaiser / crimson skins. I'm really interested in seeing what the big SAB reward track chest will have for pvp or wvw. If the finisher is in there as a reward I'll start doing my pvp again.

I'm glad I finished Nevermore and got my Daredevil equipped with it. So many Spirit Raven effects on critical hits. I love it.

I mention Naruto and One Piece since they're the only other long running series I've cared about. I guess Berserk should be included to but its only a long running series because the guy makes 1-2 chapters every 5 years. i tried reading hajime no ippo but f*ck that. It's somehow longer than one piece and shows no sign of ending. I loved the anime tho. 

Considering what I know of One Piece I'd have to agree as it's quite obvious he's working toward a set goal (I still need to sit down and watch it as well as get caught back up on the manga (I believe I got to chapter 30 or 40 before I quit reading due to other concerns) as everything he does feels planned (by what I've read and heard from others). I can't comment much on Naruto as the only chapter I've read is the final one but again it seemed he knew where he was going from the get go (the anime on the other hand didn't seem like it knew where it was going).

Yea, I need to get back into reading Berserk (I stopped reading at volume 9 but I do have up to volume 35 downloaded) and start reading Five Star Stories (you think Berserk is bad, the author for FSS went on a 9 year hiatus before he started up again in 2015 (stopped in 2006) and the manga has been going on since 1986, I think he's currently on hiatus again).

lol. wow. It took Gutts and the group 9 years of manga chapters to get to the current island they're on.. take your time reading it, you'll catch up and then wait 8 more years for more progress to be made.

The heat wave finally broke here. Last Saturday we got 4 inches of rain. Lol. My pool is almost full to the brim.

@Strider Hiryu screw -30 and -60 wind chill. That's brutal. We get a shit ton of snow in CNY but at least we don't have temps that frigid. Although a couple years ago we had a bitter cold February with only a couple days over single digits.

I get both ends (meaning snow and cold) of it which is why ND sucks so god damn much. During winter I don't even know what single digits feels like anymore (even when we're in the singles we still have at least a -20 wind chill). Luckily the western half isn't as bad snowfall wise as the eastern half so the last few years have been nice on that front (definitely don't miss spending 4 hours shoveling just so I can get my car out for work). Sadly they're talking this winter is probably going to be a bad one so yay for that I guess.

Well with how 2020 is going I'm betting all of the north half of the USA will have a brutal winter with insane snowfall with bitter cold temperatures. x_x

Omg what a horrible string of bad luck.  I hope everything starts going better for you soon. You didn't get those busted water pipes back in February did you? That would have been horrible to replace the carpeting and then have water damage. I'd get that filling fixed. It should be free since you already paid for it and they should rush you in to since they screwed up. There is also a temp filling package you can buy at pharmacies to fill in the hole in the tooth until you see the dentist again.

i did feel he was kinda rushing it that day bc it was well over closing time by the time it was finished. but hes a good dentist, hes the one who did my old crown 20 years ago..and it was kinda my fault too bc he specifically told me not to pull it upward when taking a floss out. i did that multiple times (everytime i ate something) with a lot of force when it got stuck between my teeth and it popped out.  but i did manage to get another appointment this friday and got it redone without paying. he seemed embarrassed about it and didnt question me how it fell off. he got into work right away, talking to me about what he was doing, making jokes and taking his time to make sure its secure etc. his wife who works there as his assistant apolgized to me so im not even upset or anything ill just be careful when flossing from now on.

fortunately there was no water pipe damage and the carpet was replaced with wooden floor. i heard all the plumbing companies were booked for two months in houston. X_x the hardest part was removing old books, cds, clothes, and furniture etc from the house before the construction started. took me 3 full weeks to get rid of all of them, even sneaking in the morning dumping trashes near local stores’ dumpsters bc i didnt want to piss off garbage men that visit twice a week lol. i didnt consider myself a hoarder but man there were lot of junks that i didnt touch for 20 something years. 0_o

I'm glad you got your crown fixed! lol @ the hoarder comment. It was like that for me too. When we bought the house and moved, the 15 years of stuff we accumulated ended up being a huge amount of stuff. We weren't hoarders, but damn its amazing how easily so much stuff can build up that we haven't used or touched in over 10 years. And I threw out alot of stuff over the year leading up to us buying a house and moving too. Its crazy how stuff just starts to blend into the background or in a basement.

The Jedi Knight games are amazing... well I never played the 1st one. Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy are very very good games. Way ahead of their time in saber combat. If those games are in that package. I recommend it. They are no where near as long as KOTOR, but they are action packed, and the story of Kyle Katarn is another favorite of mine.

Ohhh.. interesting. All three of the jedi knight games are in that game package.. hmmm.. I'll have to check them out.

They were annoying. On one match, I was on the other team because I had to rejoin after the game froze.. the guy on my squad for the first couple minutes wasn't even speaking english.

If you had your mic on, it must have been blocked by your own NAT error, because I heard other people through my headset, but not you. My old router was such a pain in the ass, I had to set my PS3's IP# as DMZ just to play Black ops 2.

I didn't say anything . My NAT type has always been on open. I wonder what's up.

Thats odd. Maybe because you played in complete silence it didn't pick up anything, but then again your mic icon didn't have the sound waves going. I dunno. Knowing me I probably had mine muted by accident. I was drinking at the time.

When you start reading a series, you go along not know what to expect and it's only the stories that have 'substance' make it, for me at least. FT is formulaic, regressive and I found myself not 'waiting' for the next manga episode to release. The plot or writing doesn't interest me anymore. Must like Bleach after the Soul Society arc, I didn't bother.

I still have some interest in Fairy Tail, mostly because of magic. But I agree about Bleach. After the Soul Society arc I lost all interest in the manga and anime.

Well.. at least the most recent chapter was good. I love it when they focus on fighting and not fan service.
