The Japanese company Blest has developed one of the smallest and safest oil-to-plastic conversion machines out on the market today. It's founder and CEO, Akinori Ito is passionate about using this machine to change the way people around the world think about their plastic trash. From solving our landfill and garbage disposal issues to reducing our oil dependancy on the Middle East, his machine may one day be in every household across Japan.
While holding up a bag of trash, he states, "It's a waste to throw away, isn't it? This is a treasure."

Appeals Court Should Strike Down the National Day of Prayer
www.au.orgAmericans United for Separation of Church and State has asked a federal appeals court to find the congressionally mandated National Day of Prayer unconstitutional.
uh, no duh there should be no prayer day. our govt is supposed to step back and stay outta all that shit not dance in it and take it into session with them or encourage people to be religious. being free of an oppressive church is kinda one of the things ppl even colonized this continent for . Keep yer religious to yerself and I'll keep mine to myself and we'll just live under a system of rational laws. founding principle of this country, freedom of religion also includes the freedom to not believe in anything or not actively participate in a name brand religion and just do your own thing, agnostic. boot it. it's gotta go. So does under God on money and in the pledge. Enough is enough of this rhetoric, stop cramming a belief system down peoples throats.
    the agnostic tangent

Wow. This can be used as a spray on solar panel. Imagine spraying this stuff all over your roof and hooking a couple small wires to it.. Solar electricity that easily. I wonder how well it would weather tho.

Ladywriter got a reaction from Khellendross in burn a Quran 9/11
    le sigh~
I'm from NY. I lost a former classmate in the attack on the towers on 9/11. I am an atheist. I hate the religious nutters whatever deity they pray to, they are delusional. I do not want myself, my family friends or my country dragged into some retarded war over whose old time piece of shit book is correct. News flash to the christians and muslims: yer all wrong. Every last one of you brainwashed assholes is wrong.
We have freedoms in this country. Ya wanna burn a book, well have at it. All you are really doing is taking action on your ignorance and/or hate.
Keep in mind that book burning has never accomplished anything other then the loss of history and culture. From the crusaders to the conquistadors; they burned away the history of entire cultures in the name of their deity. We cannot learn from history (and thus be doomed to repeat it) if the tomes keeping that history are burned to ashes.
Obviously the christer organizing this tard fest is only doing it for attention. He's mentally ill, just as loony as the assholes that strap on bombs and blow themselves to smithereens cuz they think they'll get virgins in their afterlife. People like these just want a holy war, at least they think they do.
    but
imagine no electricity or water running to your house, no food or medicine being shipped to local stores and hospitals, no fucking toilet paper to wipe your ass -that is what a war zone is. You want that? Really? If so then by all means please move to the middle east and go have your war over there. I don't want it here.
I see these fucktards on tv burning my flag because a handful of my countrymen are fucking assholes and it pisses me off. I'm tired of tolerating religion; personally I like being able to flush a shit away and having access to antibiotics when I get a sinus infection.
I would love to see a countrywide protest by atheists. We all go into libraries and book stores and move bible/quran/torah into the fiction section. No matches required.

like if your sick you have to walk to the back of the supermarket to buy medicine, yet if you wish to buy cigarettes to poison yourself and everyone around you it is right at the front door
How banks charge the poor for not having money and reward the rich by giving them more money
How if you want to get a home phone line installed, you have to phone up to arrange it
how you need to show id to get a replacement to your ID you lost
that you are better off being unemployed then on a low wage
    anyone got anything to add
