I didn't try a pickled egg until about 2 years ago. It was in a a sampler apptizier at an irish pub. I was surprised I liked it so I branched out. I like quail eggs because they're small and poppable. You get the whole experience in one bite. I prefer the hot n spicy ones, When they toss peppers in the jar to marinate in the pickling process, the eggs pick it up pretty good. They just suck to get out as you get to the bottom of the jar since they're so tiny.
I found Wicked Cutz because I too was tired for dry ass tough/crunchy jerky. I was trying to find who made the most tender and succulent jerky there is. I found them and was sold. They have a Dry/Moist meter on each one and its pretty accurate. Some of the beef ones can be a little dry but they aren't going to give you a Schwarzenegger jaw line from chewing it. The Turkey Jerky is amazing. Its pretty addicting... and so is the bacon. I never heard of bacon jerky before, but I can sit down and eat the whole bag.   There is another company that makes gator jerky and its utterly devine.... but its way too expensive for the tiny bit you get. Jerky on whole is too expensive as it is... so I rather buy WC's stuff than dry ass Jack's Links at the store.

If you're having trouble finding non-perishable stuff at the store here are a few resources I've personally used over the years. There is no telling what you can get from amazon right now. These are niche items keep in mind. Hopefully no one will need to use these for their primary food sources. If you have expendable income to load up just in case, here you go.

Amazing jerky. I recommend any of the bacon jerky, Korean BBQ Turkey Jerky, and the Orange Teriyaki Beef Jerky. They accept paypal, and ship pretty fast. If you like your jerky as dry as paper, and as chewy as dry rotted leather then don't order from here. That's not a knock, some people just prefer it that way. I recommend this one because its moist, and if you're in a pinch on food supplies, it can be a decent meal substitute.

Pickled eggs.. you'll love it or hate it. Its a good source of sustenance. I recommend the quail eggs as they are smaller. The whites take in all the vinegar pickling flavor, if you don't like the dry yoke part of a boiled egg, quail eggs are perfect for this... if you don't mind that, then go for the full blown picked chicken eggs.

This one may be iffy right now because they supply A LOT of sausage to grocers in the south. This is a southern gem, and a staple in AL. If they still fulfill orders, the shipping will be pretty expensive as they ship with dry ice I believe. I sent some to a friend a few years ago as a Christmas present. There is nothing like this sausage anywhere. Purely a luxury item if you just really need meat and you can't get any.

Not sure how it is everywhere, but here and in some other city's posting pics, there is food, you'll just have to be a little creative if you're a picky eater. Its mostly nonperishable stuff that's limited. The deli, bakery, and produce have plenty minus bananas. Frozen Food is decently stocked minus frozen pizza and veggies. Forget bread and eggs unless you're there on a delivery day.

I mean we're dead ass fucking slow right now since oil prices tanked (my job is highly dependent on the oil field so if they're no working they're not ordering shit so we're not doing shit). Not entirely sure what the future looks like going forward (I mean it's only Wednesday and my area was completely out of work by 3 pm, not sure if I'll have anything to do tomorrow) but I do know if oil prices tank even more and if Bobcat shuts down (we do a lot of contract work for Bobcat here in ND, there's been a confirmed case of COVID in the county where the major Bobcat factory for ND is and we're afraid they'll shut down) we're completely fucked, they're about the only ones keeping us working atm (them and the oil rigs in Texas, most of the rigs up here in the Bakken are shut down with the exception of a few). Not looking forward to a forced vacation without pay (the company I work for is to god damn cheap to pay us if they're force to close down which sucks as they also pay my health insurance so this will get interesting if shit hits the fan) even if I could use one.
Also not entirely looking forward to grocery shopping this weekend. My aunt was telling me shelves are looking pretty barren up here right now and I usually only by a weeks worth of groceries at a time.

I'll be working 6 days a week until this is over with. I'll be raking in the fat checks for a while at the cost of being tired. I've kept up with my anime and mobile games, but that's about it. Our deliveries are 1/3rd of what our orders are. Today I put out about 20 cases of random pasta noodles, and it barely made an impact on a completely empty shelf. I stopped by my local philly cheesesteak place to get a to-go order so I could support them and have a nice hot meal getting off work.

    Basically my thought process
Super Tuesday - OH SHIT! JOE BIDEN WON! WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE! Wednesday - OH SHIT! I LITERALLY WOKE UP WITHOUT POWER (electric)! *Sigh* Well at least I got my electric back on the same day. Thursday - I'm glad I'm out of that progressive bubble. And I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Better buy a 12 Pack Of Toilet Paper as I get a $20 bill from the cashier. Might as well be overstocked as I'm down to my last 13 or 14 rolls. Friday The 13 - A fortune cookie from a China Buffet: "There's a secret romance blooming! Go for it, in spite of your hesitation." Me at China Buffet: "Fake fortune." 3/14 (Pi Day) - Use a Footlong Coupon at a gas station's Subway. Had 2 donuts from gas station's Tim Horton's. Went next door to McDonald's where I had 1 of each pie, a Shamrock Shake, & Shamrock McFlurry. Had to join Super Market Sweep everyone else was doing just in case. Was upset I didn't get my Raspberry Pie despite having 2 Raspberry Pi's at home. Sunday - Damn It! The Bus isn't available until 12AM! Guess I'll see The Hunt in theaters next week. 3/16 - Would today be Stone Cold day if it wasn't for tomorrow? Tuesday (Saint Patrick's Day) - A drunk day where I see if Pizza Delivery is sober! Today - Better do that Census paperwork.... March Madness has been redefined! And I feel like I'm in Mania where others are now in Dementia!

One of the dumbest promotions for DLC... buy candy bars..
    https://butterfingerff7r.com/
Well I bought 10 nestle crunch candy bars at walmart for $0.88 each, submitted my receipt last night (I included the back of the candy bar in the pic so the person manually verifying these receipt images can see the upc matches the receipt), and got the email this morning saying I'll get all the DLC codes in 3-5 days and already got the code for the PS4 Tifa theme code. Ended up being like just over $8 in candy, but I actually like crunch bars, so its not that bad. Its alot of candy tho. lol. I threw them in the freezer. It'll take me like a year to eat that much candy. I still have halloween candy in my freezer too.  and candy canes from christmas hanging off my mail organizer.

The graphics are stunningly beautiful and the combat is fluid and satisfying. The voice acting is solid too. My only gripe is the camera is a bit wonky at times. I'll def be getting this.

Everything is seasoned in the south. There is nothing served without seasoning. You have to ask for the bottle of steak sauce at any steakhouse around here and they'll passively look down on you like you're some type of disgrace to society. The steaks around here are juicy without marinade. They'll use some type of dry seasoning. Unless you're someone that likes well done steaks in which you are a disgrace to society.  Outback is mediocre around these parts, and I refuse to believe Golden Corral makes any top tier meat since I know they gotta be using USDA select beef. I know McCormick is the most well known, but this is good stuff too, since its actually what the restaurant uses.

This is what Golden Corral is around here. This is their standards. This is like 10 minutes from my house.

The Invisible Man (2020) as far as I can tell won't be connected to a bunch of other movies due to things I rather not have spoiled other than this is a Slow Burn Movie.
Birds Of Prey - 5/5 The Invisible Man - 4/5 The Gentlemen (2019?) - 4/5 No Movie Bob Review added because I think he said some spoilers.

Nah they both make their own sauce. One guy has a huge mixer where he just makes a humongous vat of sauce daily. Like I said, to me its unique but as a big fan of pizza the only thing it really beats its frozen. On top of that I've never really been a red sauce fan either way. There is a regional chain here called Mellow Mushroom, and some other hole in the wall woodfire pizza places that have pizza without red sauce. They use an olive oil base instead and I prefer that when I can get it. For one it's much better for my acid reflux, and two it's just as moist without the tomato based sauce. I'm not really impressed with making your own mozzarella. Its the most mild tasting cheese out of the entire family and anyone can do it. It doesn't take very long to age. Plenty of places to pick up fresh real whole mozz around town. Pizza Hut def uses that low fat skimmed garbage. But the grease infused crust makes up for it. They use to make a pizza called the Big New Yorker, but that shit was super flimsy... it was still delicious though.
Salted potatoes look good. I love skillet cooked baby potatoes. Lobster and Claim bakes is def a north eastern thing. You won't find that here, the gulf coast ecosystem is shrimp, crawfish, snow/dungeoness crab, red snapper, flounder, catfish, and oysters. I'd say shrimp is the most popular, steamed and fried. Oysters are a close second for their versatility. You can have them fried, raw, baked, and my favorite: char-grilled. Crawfish are the biggest cultural thing here though. Nothing like a crawfish boil. They're like mini lobsters, but you boil them similar to how you do cajun boiled peanuts. It was actually in that don'ts of the south video when they were pouring it all on that table with potatoes and corn.
But when it comes down too it, most of it is fried just like everything in the south.

Boiled Peanuts are a southern delicacy.   Boiling a raw peanut changes the taste. Its impossible to describe. If you ever see boiled peanuts in a can, avoid it. Its not good. Its as blasphemous as those Hormel canned tamales. I personally only like the cajun  boiled peanuts. Normal boiled peanuts are just wet peanuts with a different taste But the spices make it heavenly when its done cajun style.
I'm not buying the NY Pizza thing. I've watched so many videos of people with their NY pizzas. I fail to see how it can be any better than anywhere else. There are 2 New Yorkers that opened up pizza places here that make it as you described. Their pizzas are big, and foldable. And I do enjoy them, and mostly eat my pizza there because they are local, but its just different. I do like that grease bomb limp crust that Pizza Hut has every now an then, but they use that super processed cheese. Pizza is just bread, sauce, and cheese to me. The NY style pizza isn't overwhelmingly better. You can't make cheese or sauce into something more mindblowingly amazing, all you can do is make the bread different. There is a guy from Chicago that makes deep dish across the bay and I need to go try that since it seems unique. There is also a guy from Philly that has his own philly cheesestake shop, and its magical. But hes super old and I bet the place closes when he passes away. Same with one of the pizza parlors I mentioned. That dude is old and has like a few teenagers to run the register. He works 6 days a week and closes on Mondays I think, and Wednesday hes only open half the day. Basically he's the only one that makes the stuff and I doubt he'll share his secret and pass on the shop to someone else. Both those shops have like a 28 inch pizza as their largest size. Its so ridiculously huge. I dunno how some people get it into their car. The box is so big it barely fits through the door without tilting the pizza.
We use to have Dinosaur BBQ sauce in the grocery stores around here. It was spicy and so good. Its hard to find now. It was def one of my favorites. We have a pretty good local BBQ scene here. But no one will ever convince me there is better BBQ than what I had in Memphis TN. Our Italian scene is kinda small. We have a few nice little places, and then bottom tier Olive Garden. Someone that i knew worked there and said all they do is open frozen bags and heat the stuff up.  Our Mexican and Asian scene has exploded over the past 10 years or so. All the Chinese buffets went under around here with the rise of fresh and delicious sit down places. We have Chinese, Vietnamese, and a ton of Thai places which is probably my favorite. There was a Phillipine place but sadly that closed down. I think the city force them into it because they were operating out of a really old but big home that kinda was just in the middle of a business district. The building probably wasn't up to code and they couldn't afford to renovate. We have a lot of Hibachi and Sushi places, and my favorite, the anti-social hibachi places where they don't have the table and the performance that gets old after the 3rd time you seen it. I love hibachi food, I hate the cooking performance and all the other randos at the table I don't know. We also have a lot of hibachi to go places. All the homestyle cooking places went under too because no one really wants to go out and pay to eat something they make a home. Cracker Barrel is the closest thing to that we have left.
Back to Mexican, If the Mexican places there don't have Lengua, Chorizo, and/or Tripe somewhere on the menu, it ain't mexican. Its just Tex Mex. Gotta have Tortas, Sopes, and Empanadas. I remember the first authentic place that opened here, they had a menu that was "american mexican" and then the second half that was in all Spanish. I'd always order from that after typing stuff into google translate.  Eventually they translated it themselves in captions. Next thing you know we have like 5 or 6 now that serve the good stuff. You won't find ground beef anywhere at most of them.
Def should check out that Irish Pub, probably the best lamb chops you'll ever have if they know what they're doing. There's one about 60 miles from me, that me and a few friends go visit on a special occasion. They have some of the best food there is. They make a killer ribeye, but I enjoy their Lamb Chops and these Jameson's glazed pork chops that are as big as a ribeye.
EDIT: Oh I forgot, Our seafood scene is our pride and joy. We are the gulf coast after all. Red Lobster is trash. Nothing beast fresh caught seafood. There is basically a strip along the bayway of nothing but seafood restaurants. A little more west in Mississippi, there is an all you can eat catfish house, and there are just various seafood and seafood infusion places. There is one little in the know place that has seafood and burgers/steak/chicken dishes. I have some friends that are married, the husband hates seafood, so its their favorite place since he can get a burger or steak, and she can have a seafood platter and both parties are happy.

Brisk is NOT sweet tea. Any restaurant trying to serve that down here will get called out.   Anything thats premade in a bottle outside of a jug of Milo's is like saying Kool-Aid is juice. Only freshly brewed is acceptable. You can just type in unsweet tea meme into google and there is an endless supply.

Grits on the other hand. Its not for everyone, but I bet you had it just plain cooked, super gritty and zero butter or salt. Its like eating grape nuts stew that way. There is a very low concern for eating habits in the south. Most grits are loaded with butter and salt. It takes on a more creamy texture. Cheese is a must as well, but its much better when used as a part of a dish rather than the main dish. Shrimp and Grits are pretty popular. Chicken and Waffles are actually pretty good. But its not really common. Only one restaurant served it here and it shut down. Biscuits and gravy is magical. The sausage gravy itself is incredible. Its not gravy in the sense of turkey gravy. its not soupy, its like a semi solid of meat and salt . That lay's potato chip flavor a few years ago pretty much tasted just like the gravy. KFC biscuits are kinda dry. If you have a Popeyes up there, now that's a biscuit. Hardee's/Carl's Jr makes pretty good biscuits too.
My uncle is from Minnesota and hes a super picky eater but likes weird shit like sugar and rice. wtf? He doesn't like any spicy stuff and eats the most bland foods. Thats my view of northern cuisine.   I figured NYC is different because it's a cultural hub, but from what my friends that visited or lived there have said, there are no good Mexican places. As good as Taco Bell is, its trash tier. Basically what McDonalds is to Five Guys is the best comparison i can give.

I remember when this first hit all the media lambasted the fandom for being racist because no one liked how Starfire looked. They all said fans were mad because she was because she was black, but it was really because they gave her a flea market crusty the clown wig and a Halloween sexy princess dress from party city. But shes a prostitute? There was no context for this at first, but even though it makes somewhat more sense she still looks terrible. But in the new promo art she looks great.

Either way, what you described sounds awful. The whole WOKE culture gets on my nerves and I'm generally turned off by any kinda controversy before a show comes out these days. That whole racism fiasco put me off ever wanting to watch it. Its one thing to pick the best actor which they probably did with Anna Diop, but its another to just gender/race swap everyone just to do it. I hear that's what they've done to the Eternals. If you have to promote anything that's not relevant to the story or lore of a show/film. That's a big ole red flag for me. 9 times out of 10 the story is gonna be absolute ass. When Star Trek did the first on screen interracial kiss, they just did it. They didn't go out and promote it weeks before the episode. Different time and era of course, but the method still holds true. /end random rant.
