Sledgstone reacted to DeathscytheX in Old Cheesy Sci-Fi series
I remember when SyFy... then Sci-Fi Channel first came out they use to play nothing but old 60s-80s sci-fi series that had long been cancelled. As a kid, this what the best channel ever and I'd spend hours doing nothing besides eating chips and staying glued to the TV.. especially during the summer when school was out. Do you have any favorite old Sci-Fi Television Series?
Space 1999
This premise is so ludicrous by todays standards becasue we all know the earth cannot survive without the moon.
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century

Gil Gerard was such a horrible actor, but Erin Grey and Pamela Hensley were so hot
Kolchak: The Night Stalker
The Incredible Hulk

Six Million Dollar Man
If only our government could build shit for only 6 million dollars today. lol
Bionic Woman
I only watched this because I had a huge crush on Lindsay Wagner
Quantum Leap
This was the cream of the crop. Man I loved this show and still do. I've seen every episode and I wonder to this day why Netflix has/had every episode except for the FINAL ep. The series end was heart felt and both happy but sad. This was probably the first TV series I truly fell in love with and adore to this day.

Sledgstone reacted to Myk JL in Google Glass
How long can the porn industry last when there's free porn? Girls Gone Wild actually filed for bankruptcy. I thought it was just a joke on The Colbert Report when I first heard about it.
I'm expecting Google Glass to now do a sequel to The Blair Witch Project.

Sledgstone reacted to Kite in Spartacus
I tried to find the scene where he 300/Spartan kicks a guy off a cliff but couldnt find the clip
The language they use is epic, it is so fowl. but almost elegant. ''by Jupiters cock''

Sledgstone got a reaction from Ladywriter in The Walking Dead Season 3
Glenn is a beast. I just re-watched that scene were he kills that walker after breaking free from the chair he was tied to.
Michonne is a good character so far, just in terms of ass kicking. However, she hardly talks. She could have easily said a few sentences here and there that could have had some major impacts to the plot.

Sledgstone reacted to Kite in The Walking Dead episode discussion
This weeks episode in my opinion was one of the best, It could be considered a filler episode, but is had some nice character development
I dont get how he became so cold towards the hitch-hiker, considering he begged Hershel to take them in, now he wont help anyone else. what happened to strength in numbers, couldnt help but feel really bad for the guy,
Running into Morgan was interesting, I dont blame him for his insanity, but surely life joining rick must be better then what he has
I thought his traps were pretty smart, the walkers basicly impaled them selves
I dont know who Michone teleported in and out in 2 seconds, but She is a very likeable character, and the Carl was just as obnoxious as ever,
the worlds filled with walkers and he wanted to walk off alone.
looking forward to next weeks

Sledgstone reacted to Kite in Star Wars: TCW discussion (spoilers)
I hope they do renew it, the toy potential is huge,
however the direction it is now is very adult / mature viewer orientated,
there is no blood, but thats because light sabres and blasters cauterize wounds ;p
Disney screwed spiderman but cancelling Spectacular spider man and rebooting it to kids hell on tv ultimate spiderman. If they keep SW:TCW i worry they will tone it down to crap.
I would recomend watching the show start to end, it is called The Clone wars, many episodes wont have Annakin in, many do, but it is about the war,
Cad Bane really ups the ante in brutality.
The one thing I believe the show has gotten wrong is Annakin, He is far more grounded and respected in this then Revenge,
I dont have anything against him in Revenge, He was frustrated at being treated almost like a child.
In the series, he is basicly the republics best weapon,
Fearless leader, loved by his men, feared by his enemies, Has a dedicated padawan and overall go to guy for the jedi order
You see the dark side in him, but it comes from a place we understand, Also he is very wise and seems overall too difference from his film counter part

Sledgstone reacted to Kite in Star Wars: TCW discussion (spoilers)
Anyone been keeping up to date with this show.
Season 1 / tv movie started rather kiddish, Obi Wan having tea mid battle feigning surrender to delay for reinforcements, Ashoka saving Annakin calling him sky guy to appeal to kids
soon after it was necks being snapped, light sabres through the chest, cold blood executions, betrayals. force chokes etc
The show realised its audience was older and shifted to make it more violent then the movies ;p
The latest season started slow, the Younglings was dragged out, but it was a valid part of the overall war, The Jedi still needed to raise younglings even in times of war.
Darth mauls return was disappointing, yes he is a shell of his former self, but I expected more brute force tatics then politics from him
lastly, Ashoka's trial
She was obviously set up, what pissed me off most was how the council in all there vast wisdom went with circumstancial evidence and kick her out the order,
Also why didn't any of them sense the dark side in there own temple. even faint that barras might have been, The temple is the personification of the Jedi order and the light, A master like Sidious could hide, but not a disillusioned padawan
Annakins fight with Barras was decent, you saw annakins anger boil over for a second. which was cool, WIth all tragic heroes, you can justify the things they do until it becomes to easy, Annakin force choked a few people lately, which is very un-jedi of him -)
/my 2 cents on the latest season,
Not sure if there will be another season, but they managed to write off Ashoka to make it fit for revenge of the sith.

I don't consider it unexpected. Just something that had always been been there before I ultimately acknowledged it. In which case it has always been there dating all the way back to Thunder Cats & Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Other furry shows that come to mind are Street Sharks, Biker Mice From Mars, Road Rovers & Swat Kats.
Then there are the furry characters from Super Hero Cartoons such as Gila (Technically Scaly) from Spider-Man, Catwoman's transformation in the episode Tyger Tyger, Tigra from the 90's Avengers cartoon, & Cheetah from Justice League (Unlimited).
There was also that time when Disney had in the Lion King a scene where Nala had (implied) sex with Simba right there to Elton John singing Can You Feel The Love Tonight. Then in Gargoyles there was Maggie (The Cat) Reed.
It kind of went away with my greater interest in Giant Robots & Anime but never completely. In Beast Wars / Machines I liked Blackarachnia & found Cheetor to be awesome.
In Anime I tended to have more interest in Cat Girls such as Aisha Clan Clan from Outlaw Star & when I was young enough Merle from EscaFlowne. Then eventually Wolf's Rain had become my favorite Anime.
But after all these years it finally became my main interest in December of 2009 when PS Home released the Tekken King mask & my eventual joining of a clubhouse originally named Cat House. Partly if not mainly because I had liked being treated like a cat by Females.
Though that eventually died down & my focus had shifted a little more toward my own Female Avatar with the (Egyptian Goddess) Cat Heads I had bought for her.
To pretty much top all of this off I eventually found out about The Elder Scrolls with its Khajiit (Cat People) & Argonians (Lizard People). And if it counts my Cheshire Cat Woman I made in Saints Row The Third.
I think though my interest in Furry has shown a lot more though due to things that have happened this & last year.
Danial Way's writing for Deadpool was horrible. It ended then was followed by a retcon of Deadpool. I have no interest in learning about the new Deadpool & instead have focused more on Web Comics that are Furry.
And now as of last month I lost interest in the Next Gen Console Wars. So whether or not I have future with Steam Box or even Ouya, it has given even more to focus on my interest in Furry.
Though I wouldn't hold my breath on the idea I might start doing my own Furry Art as I haven't tried to learn how to draw since issues I've had dating back to my early teens.
One more to mention though I don't think it counts is Star Fox on the Snes. I don't think it counts because for me it was always about flying space ships. When it shifted more toward the characters then the franchise was basically ruined.... Well except for Krystal.... But she was going to end up with a fan base no matter what happened to the franchise.
Also despite all the above I find Fursuiters & even some if not all Furry Cosplayers to be odd.
And now for something completely different.
