TODAY: We're into the lake effect snow business with reports of anywhere from 5 to as much as 20 inches of snow since this event began...and we're not done yet! A general, moist and chilly west to northwest wind flow will continue crossing Lake Ontario for at least another 24-48 hours meaning more lake effect activity, then a general light snow may move in during Friday. TONIGHT:Areas of lake effect snow continue, but the primary lake snow bands shift northward to mainly north of the Thruway after Midnight. NEW accumulations of 2-6", especially north of the Thruway.
