  1. While taking out a Mobile AA, the driver jumped out right on top of our tank and took some bullets to the face.
  2. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 916 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61.
  3. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 980 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61.
  4. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 986 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61. This shot got me the Recon Master Dog Tag and the Marksman Medal.
  5. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 978 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61. This guy was a great target. The game had a glitch unfortunately. After my initial hit, I didn't see the actual hit marker or bolt action animation. Even so, it was a great shot for me.
  6. BF4 Long Range Sniping 1,042 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61. This is the longest head shot I've had in this game so far. It looks like there are some graphical issues with BF4 on PS4 at this distance.
  7. At the end of this video I achieved the closest thing possible to quickscoping in BF4.
  8. Watch as I take out two helicopters with my T-90 Main Battle Tank. On the second helicopter, my Staff Shell actually kills the pilot first and then registers as a vehicle hit.
  9. The Naval Strike Maps are great for long range kills.
  10. The Attack Boat is king on these new maps.
  11. The hovercraft is extremely fun to drive and this roadkill got me laughing pretty good. It also earned me the trophy "Killing Me Softly"
  12. I got the last Sniper Rifle ribbon I needed for the "Always Deadly" assignment and unlocked the SR338.
  13. My first impressions of the SR338 is that it is a DMR with all the sniper rifle scopes. I'm really surprised this is in the same category as the rest of the sniper rifles. This gun reminds me of the SKS from BF3. This gun is definitely a DMR except that its only good for medium range. Up close shots and you need at least 2-3 shots to kill an enemy at point blank range. This isn't good at all for my style of Aggressive Recon. I don't see how you can get 3 shots off in time when it has a bigger accuracy penalty than a regular DMR with follow up shots. Any other gun could easily take you out in a fire fight up close.
  14. I was playing Domination on Operation Mortar when I got this UCAV Airburst triple kill. The shortest effective range for the UCAV is shown in this video. From the moment I shot it, I was holding up on the control to pitch the UCAV down as fast as possible until the last moment. Around 120 meters in the shortest distance a UCAV can be effective at.
  15. The mortar and UCAV is a great combo for getting long distance kills.
  16. It will be a while before I get to this one. Too many things coming out tomorrow. GTA V and the next episode of GW2 Living World.
  17. With the upcoming release of the Dragon's Teeth DLC for Battlfield 4, DICE has started an event this weekend called Battlefest. Double XP, free camo and competitions. I'll be playing briefly today, more tomorrow and again this upcoming week.. that is.. until the Destiny beta starts. Source: Battlelog

  19. EA Access has launched for Xbox One. The subscription costs $4.99 a month or $30 a year and gives you access to a collection of EA games that you can download, install and play. It sounds like a good deal and it includes Battlefield 4 in the list of games you have access to. However, it looks like DLC is not included in the subscription and certain popular titles are strangely absent from the service, including Titanfall. The most interesting feature of EA Access to me is that many new EA games will be free for five days prior to the game launch as an early access feature. Those games would then turn off and would be available for digital purchase. I'm guessing EA will leave new games as digital purchases only for a year before adding them to their EA Access Vault. This also might be EA's way of making a hybrid Free to play style of gaming. You get the base game in the subscription, but the DLC will be EA's gold mine. Interesting enough, Sony has no interest in having the EA Access subscription on their network stating: EA Access could be a good bargain depending on how well it works out. But then again EA is known for winning "Worst Company in America." Sources: http://www.ea.com/eaaccess/ & GameInformer Also, Kotaku has a good FAQ regarding EA Access: http://kotaku.com/how-ea-access-will-work-according-to-ea-1616944110

  21. An EA DICE animator revealed that the new Battlefield 4 expansion pack "Dragon's Teeth" will include a two handed ballistic shield. DICE was going to make the shield one handed and work in conjunction with a hand pistol, but limitations on the older gen systems made it impossible across all platforms. Because this game is on the PS3 and Xbox 360, all versions of BF4 will be limited to weapon and gadget functionality based on what those systems can handle. Its a shame they released this game on the older consoles. Now we'll have a Call of Duty style shield instead of something unique to Battlefield. Although, this shield when used by a couple squad mates at the same time could really change Operation Metro and Operation Locker matches, assuming an M320 LVG grenade could bounce off the shield. 25. http://blogs.battlefield.com/2014/01/bf4-balancing-vehicles/ DX told me about this patch earlier today. I'm glad the Mobile AA is going to be nerfed. It could shoot anything in the air from any distance with no bullet drop. It was insane how quickly it could destroy anything. But it only has 6 total missiles that is being reduced to 4? I never noticed it would run out of missiles.. I wonder if that is per the life of the vehicle or per person who enters it. Could we just jump out of the vehicle and re-enter it to get all the missiles restocked? I enjoy getting in a helicopter, but if the other team has a mobile aa, then i wouldn't even bother trying to get in the air. I thought some of these upgrades already went into effect because I was in a scout helicopter yesterday and the 25MM cannon hardly did any splash damage to infantry. Then again I was lagging, maybe it was a server issue at the time.
