    I don't know if I'm asymptomatic to COVID-19.
But I dreamt that I was too close to a woman who's Velcro straps were attached to me.
And If I moved away she would hear me leaving.

It depends on how many games they do. The difference between KH and FF7 is that there is already an outlining story to go by. This is extremely hard to talk about without spoilers. They don't have to fit in Disney licensing issues (I always think back to Roger Rabbit, and Disney vs. WB character screen time issues), along with an original story. They just need the script to be voiced and to make the games. Taking two decades to make the whole thing at this point is risky business for sales. The age of the group that played the original or were even around to hear the hype is getting older. A lot of them could even pass away from old age by the end of that time as crazy as that sounds. that's nearing 60 years old give or take a good 5 years.
Square treats KH like Blizz treats Starcraft and Diablo, but FF keeps coming out. Just doing a quick reference on Wiki, since 1987 they've released a FF game at an inconsistent sequence of every 1-3 years.

It is a full game. Its a retelling of the original. If they did the whole story in one game like this, the PS4 probably wouldn't be able to hold it. The whole only 10% isn't going to hold up anymore now that its out because they put in an effort that's more than just better graphics and different combat system. You'll be waiting probably 6 years to get the full story if I had to guess. And the rest of it will probably be on PS5.
It won't be as long between games now that the engine and systems have been built, but if I had to guess, it will still be 2 years between each part. The reason the price is so high is because its gotta be resellers. I saw the other day that physical is sold out everywhere. Just another reason why I do digital.
Edit: lol replied at the same time as Sledge and said the same thing essentially.

I don't know about 6 years.. not with Square Enix's track record of Kingdom Hearts. All the Kingdom Hearts games.. sure theres 1, 2, 3... and 20 more. But if we consider the entire thing to be one complete game and not endless sequels then it took Square Enix 18 years to finish Kingdom Hearts.  Kingdom Hearts took so long, children were born and turned into adults by the time they finished it.  I figure FF7 Remake will be like that but not in that scope. We'll probably get a handful of sequels to finish it up but not 20.

This game was a ride. Beautiful graphics, fun combat system, it was tough but forgiving. As I age, I don't have the patience for super tough battles. Fallen Order is about as difficult as I'll accept on the extreme side of things. The most important thing to me was that it was worth my money length-wise. The battles were fun and flashy, and the story delivered an cinematic experience that Hollywood continually fails at these days. Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Aerith, Jessie, Wedge, Biggs, Red XIII... I love all these characters. They actually invested heavily into the VA cast with a lot of familiar people.
I looked up the differences between the two and found them interesting but also saw how cool of a job they did of recreating some of these areas from the original. Now to the controversy

This game is SO beautiful. The voice acting and facial expressions really shine. It looks like everyone's face was mokaped for the main 4 characters for the language. Their lips synced with what they're saying perfectly. The NPCs are the only ones where it gets sketch sometimes. I'm about 27 hours in. I think I might be in the final stretch for main missions so tomorrow I'm going to cycle through all the side missions that are popping up at random now. I did every single one of the ones that where available along the way but I got the "Once you do X, you can no longer go back" and now they're popping up as I walk along areas.
I guess my biggest gripe is that if I'm almost at the end, I've gotten a lot of my weapons upgraded but it would have been nice to have some of the upgrades earlier instead of now that its almost over (at least the materia slots). The big problem with splitting the game up like this, is having to start over with all your gear again. Some of the weapons you can miss if you're not careful... like pretty much 90% of Tifa's gloves. Especially the Feathered Gloves which has her Starshower attack, which is by far the most bad ass looking attack and arguably the best if not only beaten by Omnistrike.
I guess since I didn't play the original I don't sense where they've "padded" the story out. But from a dialogue standpoint its really well done, and its gonna make me said when I finish, yearning for more. The only improvement I'd like to see next go around is more idle phrases. They could have added more than 2 different sentences for the end of battle. Hearing Cloud say "Keep those gloves up" and "You're pretty good at this" 100 times does get repetitive.

They took the first 5 hours of the original game and turned into 40 hours. The Boss fights can't be shortened by much even with a good strategy, you won't be able to deal an immense enough damage to make them short. They'll either be kinda long or really long. They're show pieces with minor cutscenes splice through out. Every boss has weak spots, and ailments that they're susceptible too. A lot of your highest damage output is through the command menu. I just beat a boss that pretty much rarely stayed still, it had a weak spot on each side but it kept turning non stop. Trying to use an ability on it would only connect if you're close to the right side and it was turning towards your attack while it does its wind up animation. I found the best method to every fight is to constantly switch characters.
So far the game is beautiful, the voice acting is really good, and the combat is pretty fun.

The curve is starting to flatten. Things will probably be back to normal in June as far as being able to go out into the public. After reading about how people that recovered where donating blood to give others their anti-bodies. I'm starting to wonder just how much good we did by quarantine. With a 98% survival rate, I feel like this could have been done better. A lot of people that could have survived without much issue probably would have been better off getting it and building a natural immunity to it for next time it comes around providing less suitable hosts. Hopefully there will be a vaccine by next year. I still think this was more overblown than it should have been and we could have gone on with our lives like during the H1N1 outbreak. I've also read how other countries just had the elderly quarantine. It probably would have cost significantly less to keep all the elderly and sick home, only give them stimulus checks, bump up social security pay outs instead of unemployment since much less people would have lost their jobs. Then there could have been a secondary program that would help those that missed 2 weeks of work from it.

Drive-Thru banking has existed since at least the early 80s. I remember my mom would always deposit checks like this and I'd always hope the bank teller would see little kid me in the car and put a sucker in the capsule for me.
There are so much misinformation going around. Trump nor the federal government as a whole has the power to shut down the country. Thats a state level thing.. one of the few things left that belongs to the individual states at least. There is no precedent for doing this. That being said, he could issue an executive order for a temporary shut down, and then there would be lawsuits. That is government overreach and even though they'd get away with it this time, eventually the Supreme court would rule that it was unconstitutional because of the type of judges he's put in there. And if you haven't been paying attention the 9th circuit has also been flipped while no one was paying attention. There is a reason why they haven't been in the news for months trying to stop Trump. But on the flip side these types don't stand for government overreach, and the 9th would now side with that.
Either way, grocery stores, drive through eateries, and medical facilities will remain open. They can't shut those down ever. Especially with how selfishly Americans live now. I saw a lady bitching on a facebook post about how she needs to go to the grocery store every day to get bread because she can only buy 1 loaf and it won't last a day in a half in her house... Instead of giving up bread or limiting its consumption and eating something else, people think they shouldn't have to go with out so long as they can afford it.  Some people just buy groceries for 1-2 days. Some people would really starve because they can't plan out their groceries for 2 weeks. We finally got hand sanitizer in and I saw a lady pull it out of her grocery bag after she bought it and dump it in her hands in a fit of orgasmic euphoria like shes been cured of all ailments now and forever. 🙄 People are ridiculous... she was probably one of those types that never washes her hands and only uses sanitizer like its a replacement for that.
Edit: Slippers, Even though its been years since you've touched it, it was actually just like 2 weeks ago Photobucket stopped allowing hotlinking images from your personal account unless you pony up $5 a month. So your sig is all kinds of watermarked by them. Sigs can't be seen from the phone in mobile mode, so I didn't notice until I got on my PC.

Yep, that movie special just confirmed everything I love about Violet Evergarden. Good god was it good and so freaking emotional, many manly tears were shed (I really need to find that manly tears picture I have just for these types of posts). I really, really want the movie to come out now (though I know it's going to end the series for good I still want to see it so god damn badly) and god dammit Netflix give the distribution rights to someone so I can buy the god damn blu-rays because I need them now.

My Mom had the same thing around that time, and her flu test came back negative. She was diagnosed with Pneumonia and Bronchitis. She was sick for about 2 weeks and then my dad got it before she was fully well. A lady at work took a trip to NC around that time as well and had a 2 week bout of coughing and fever. She was also told she had Bronchitis after her flu test came back negative. I never got it from any of them so either it was nothing, or I was Asymptomatic. I've always had a pretty stout immune system since I'm around nasty ass people 8-10 hours a day. If I ever feel a little off, I just chalk it up to a head cold or some minor virus.

Sledge- I think it seems that way because ppl are rushing to get tested. results are ppl overwhelming hospitals and exhausting medical supplies, beds, and ventilators just like what happens during panic buying. Other surrounding states i bet have similar number of cases but lacks testing kits, their numbers will rise as soon as they are available. Houston last sunday went from like 23 new cases to 500 new cases in a matter of a day, but still turning ppl away who show no serious symptoms due to test kit shortage. And only a week ago told them test kit was faulty and closed down drive through test area for some time. In some areas ppl are waiting in line for hours to get tested, best way to catch something even when you arent even sick 😷
Dx- Normally i cant distinguish  smell so hard to say when i was sick in jan but my symtoms were mild, thankfully. One of symtoms that im kinda convinced that i had it was body chills. Last time that happend to me was when i had a stomach flu but that was like more than a decade ago. For three days i was sick, i kept thinking whats going on, somethings not right here. One of regular customers i talk to said when he traveled to france in december, he ended up in hospital because he was so sick but came out negative for flu as well. He also suspects it was corona but he isnt sure either. Strange that it doesnt affect infants and children that much, they have weak immune system most of all

Not entirely sure how I feel about the new GitS. On one hand I'm excited to be getting more GitS (we all know how obsessed I am with GitS) especially since it's linked to SAC but on the other hand I just can't get over the CG animation and the fact that Netflix is releasing it (you can praise Netflix all you want but I'm always going to be leery of anime they release, especially when it's linked to franchises I adore. VE is an exception since they just got the streaming rights and it's not exactly an anime original as KyoAni worked on it without their funding). Plus with the lackluster Arise entry I'm even more leery about any new GitS show (I'll praise the Arise movie as it actually felt like GitS but the OVA was lackluster at best (good moments marred with a shit plot line and character rewrites that make no sense)). Now my question is do they have the English VA's from SAC because, as much as I'm a sub elitist, I actually prefer to watch GitS dubbed and I'd hate to have to get used to a new VA's (the SAC dub is probably one of the best dubs out there second only to Cowboy Bebop for me).
As for BOFURI I can't be happier. While I still haven't watched episode 12 yet I was really hoping we'd get another season because this show is just so god damn adorable and I love seeing how much more god like Maple is going to become every episode (I swear she's literally a god at this point on only continues to become even more absurdly powerful and she has no fucking idea what she's doing).
I'm super hyped for Slime as well but I'm pissed they're splitting the second season into two instead of doing one massive airing. Really hate when they do that shit (was extremely pissed when they did it to SAO: War of Underworld because they left it on such a huge cliff hanger and it's been agonizing waiting for this last half to air). Hopefully they don't end the first half on a major cliffhanger because I'll fucking riot.

Pretty much how Trump is now being blamed for the mask shortage that actually happens under Obama during H1N1 and they were never replenished. I also learned the other day, at some point, I dunno under who, we decided it was a bright idea to have all the IV bags come out of Puerto Rico, and then the hurricane hit last year, and everyone is having supply issues.
    https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/los-angeles-times-and-bloomberg-news-federal-stockpile-of-n95-masks-was-depleted-under-obama-and-never-restocked
Bush was definitely the end of the Republican's fiscal conservatism as a whole. Big spending government has been gone on for too long and it probably will keep going on. People that like big government that takes care of everything, don't realize that the result is that corporations are going to get bailed out forever... because they fund the campaigns. Not the little people. The government should monitor corperations, let them succeed and let them fail. If something fails, something else will rise up in its place, it always has. With Space X on the rise, and NASA becoming less relevant, its pretty obvious we don't need the government for everything. The government should assist but not take over parts of the private sector.
