Excellent special effects. Looks more like a Shield movie focused around Captain America than a sequel. I really want to see this. I'm wondering if they'll keep true to Winter Soldier's origins considering how they screwed over the Mandarin on Iron Man 3.

I hope it will be. Iron Man 2 & 3 were good, but they weren't amazing. This trailer looks like it will be better than the first movie. Usually sequels fail to be better than the first, but Captain America as a standalone movie wasn't nearly as good compared to the first Thor movie.

The Captain America 80s film was pretty good even though it completely strayed from the original story. I liked the last Capt film better than Iron Man 2... I haven't seen 3 because someone spoiled it for me and it sounded pretty lame. Thor was pretty good but very slow to develop. So far Iron Man 1, Incredible Hulk, and Avengers are my favorite movies in the universe.

The visuals of Thor is what made me like it so much. Everything not on earth looked amazing.

Which Incredible Hulk movie?

I ask that because I know someone who thought the first one with all the comic book transitions was better. :P I preferred the remake one, but to each their own I guess. *remembers hulk jumping halfway across america*

The Ed Norton one. Hulk with Eric Bana was shit IMO.... Mutant poodles? really?... no... The comic strip cinematography was cool, but thats it. The movie sucked.

Yep. Thor 2 looks like it won't be better than 1 with all that dumb slo-mo stuff. I'd say the best sequel is Empire Strikes Back because it was better than Movie 1. Aliens wasn't. Terminator 2 maybe? X-Men new Days of the past future and present and wherever else in whatever else timeline doesn't look better than First Class. If anything, it feels like it could've been made without First Class.

I thought TM2: Judgment Day was equally as good.  Aliens was awesome. It was an action film rather than a suspense horror like the first one, definitely disappointing for those that expected the same feel as the first.

Empire and Wrath of Khan are probably my two favorite sequels.

As a kid I thought Secret of the Ooze was a better movie than the 1st, but now that I'm older, TMNT1 was definitely the better film of the two.

I think Terminator 2 was a superior sequel. T1 was good, but I like how T2 brought more of the time travel paradox and future tech into the story. Empire strikes back was great. Spider-Man 2 was better than the first one.. not the remake spider-man, the second movie with doctor octopus. That was better, but the third dropped the ball. Oh, and the second Batman movie with Heath Ledger as the Joker was much better than the first Batman movie. I didn't care much for the third one.

T2 was a good commercial flick but it had to follow a hardcore, gritty, horrific T1 which is better imho. Alien was plain horror, excellent ambiance. Aliens took that away and made it full-blown action. See the similarities in both of Cameron's movies? Yep. Both sequels are bigger blockbusters and may be more entertaining to a movie goer but if you ask me which was a better film, I'd say the first ones hands down.

Looks good, have to agree, it looks more like an Avengers movie centered around Captain America than a sequel. Shoots down the helicarrier* well there goes several trillion dollars

*Edit*

Stay after the credits as always.

  1. Hydra returns right without SHIELD noticing. Makes sense as its something that usually happens in the comics.
  2. Winter Soldier being Bucky for me was kind of Disappointing, but only because I really wanted something more shocking than having Bucky's death undone.
  3. That Swiss Hydra Scientist looking barely similar to himself in the comics was Okay but I would've preferred if they somehow pulled off him having an almost human body.
  4. Doctor Strange is mentioned! Half Life: Noir confirmed!
  5. For a moment I thought Marvel made a super hero who would be dubbed Kung Fu Cougar.
  6. A guy who I'll assume is a Generic Lackey lives!.... I'll assume he'll be quickly forgotten about like Abomination.
  7. That weapon Loki had in Avengers makes a comeback.
  8. ICP got to Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver.... relabeling them as Miracles....
  9. Bucky finds out he's history.
  10. *Sarcasm* Samuel L. Jackson did NOT die a bad ass death. Expect him to sue Marvel */Sarcasm*

Holy cow there seems to be a subscription crate for everything now. AC Filters, Clothes, Bras, Candy, etc. I actually just signed up for Umai Crate. It seems to be the most unique and best value. Its just a box full of different Japanese instant ramens. I'll report if its any better than the cheap shitty ramen you can get at the grocery store. For $25 a month, the box seems to be full of 7-9 bags/boxes/cups of various types. If I'm not impressed with the first box, I'll cancel it and feel like it was worth trying something interesting. I watched a few youtube unboxings and taste tests and it seems to be pretty well received, even in the comments on their facebook posts. I recently had authentic ramen at a local hole in the wall and it was amazing. I always thought ramen was just that shitty Nissin stuff. Some of the videos I watched, its def a little more complex than just pouring hot water into noodles and a tiny spice packet. Some of them have multiple packets to enter in before and after water is added. And apparently there are suggested fresh add ons you can buy separately at the grocery store. Things you obviously can't dehydrate like hard boiled eggs.

Being in the grocery business for over a decade and a half you see a lot of product flops, successes, bait & switches, and other flat out BS. In one year I watched Kellogg's decrease the size of their cereal box contents by .5oz-3oz multiple times. They kept the box height the same and made them marginally slimmer each time to make it less noticeable. When Eternal water first hit the shelves it was from "Natural Springs in Norway". One day a coworker noticed it tasted different, and then noticed the bottle now said "From a municipal water source in California". I've seen Edy's Ice Cream downsize their containers, and then return them to the old size a year later calling it "Now 20% more!" Nah, you just gave back what you took. The biggest scam of the century is Halo Top ice cream and everyone that's copying it. Halo Top is just jet puffed ice cream. Breyers makes their version, and now Ben & Jerry's is going to make their line of it. You're paying for deceptive portion control. The only reason they are "low calorie" is because there is less ice cream in the cup. Since a pint is by volume and not by actual weight, most people fall for the this trick. You're paying the same, if not more money for the ice cream version of a bag of chips half filled with air. Don't support this crap. Just get regular ice cream and eat less per serving. On a final note, Breyers doesn't even call their product ice cream anymore. Its "Frozen Dairy Dessert". WTF I'm glad I have access to Blue Bell. Its still a half gallon, and its still ice cream. http://www.mouseprint.org/2013/01/21/breyers-converts-ice-creams-to-frozen-dairy-desserts/

I've owned 3 cars now. My first car was a 1993 Nissan Maxima. It had 110k miles on it and it served me well until 215k miles. An alternator and a break hose were the only major repairs I've ever had to have done on it. Then I got a 2004 Mazda3 which also served me well from 11k miles to 80k miles, a fuel purge sensor was the only major repair I ever had to do on it. I'd still have it if some kid didn't pull out in front of my and total it. With the insurance check I should have just put a nice down payment on a brand new car... but at the time I didn't want a car note so I got the only thing I could find... a 2004 Ford Mustang. It had less miles than my Mazda so I figured it was like I just had this car all along since it was the same year. Wrong, its been the biggest POS I've ever owned. I've had to have the power steering pump replaced twice, major exhaust work twice, serpentine belt, entire ABS system, read axle, front calipers, CV joint, motor fan, and the transmission that was put in to replace the already busted on they tried to sell the car with, is about to go out again... to top it all off the paint just started crumbling off the car and now its rusting. I bought it with 65k miles and now it has 116k miles. Now that my college loan is almost finally paid off, I'm looking to get a brand new Honda Civic or VW Golf. The Civic is a car I've always wanted since wanting a car, but the Golf is very nice and has more horsepower. I'll never buy another ford car again. I remember when my exhaust system basically fell off the car because the manifold cracked... the muffler shop I went to basically said "Yeah this is pretty common at 90k miles for this car" which I was pretty much at... wtf. Screw Ford. I've never had so many catastrophic failures with a vehicle.

I'm sick of winter. This crap needs to end. Another day of driving on snow/ice covered roads in zero degree temps that are so cold the rock salt wont melt anything. Its like every road is made of gravel and my car is bouncing all over the place. At least the tall hill roads are getting treated with strong as hell rock salt of a different blend to ensure melting and to prevent accidents. But all other streets are complete ass to drive on.
