Ok that guy in the boat video sucks.... I got burst fire cannon and it demolishes infantry because you can spray it as fast as you can pull the trigger. dunno what he is talking about because this is insanely OP. I went on a 15 kill streak 1 attack boat, 2 old school boats, a little bird, and a bunch of infantry laid to waste. The Zuni Rockets are where its at too... the burst cannon wrecks any chopper better than an AA gun, but the Zuni Rockets clean up any infantry that was able to duck for cover from your barrage. I just got active protection counter measures... so I have all attack boat unlocks within the first week of having the game. :P

LOL, its Air Superiority... I been messing with the stinger and its still OP as hell... I was wondering how I was getting taken down so fast... Its all I use now on conquest maps that I don't like to snipe on. You can reload it so fast, 3 rockets is all it takes... 1 for flares, 2 for a hit, and 3 for vehicle destroy. Attack choppers are pretty useless sadly.... the littlebird is way better once you get heat seekers and the 25mm cannon... its a faster version of the attack chopper without a gunner.

It sucks that attack helicopters can so easily be taken down by stingers. It'll force good chopper pilots to fly low, but with good RPGers and tanks on the ground, they can still be taken out quick. Do you know if its possible to have Stealth, Fire Extinguisher and ECM Jammers equipped all at once?

Damn. That sucks ass. :crap: They need to nerf stingers.. In all of BF3, I've only seen maybe 2 people be absolutely amazing with attack helicopters. Both people were amazing at flying low, in between buildings.. they had the maps so memorized they knew where people were locking onto them from, based upon what building, structure, tree or hill they ducked behind would block the lock.. then after some quick maneuvering around said objects, would rain down rockets on that engineer completely dominating infantry.

I just unlocked anti-tank for engineer too... but I've only had 3-4 squads where I've been able to max out field upgrades... I'm thinking its because most of them are waiting for vehicles to spawn at the deploy screen. -_-; I've sat and laid low for minutes sometimes hoping someone would f'n spawn and then I get shot up and field upgrade gets lost... I've sat at the deploy screen waiting for an attack boat, but If the field upgrade meter isn't empty, I keep an eye on who is alive.. if Its only one guy, or two guys that are close to each other, I'll just spawn at a different flag that might be under attack...

I dont think Anti-tank is going to be a big game breaker, because random people have shown time and time again, they dont know how to work as a team.

I'll probably be on all day starting around 1pm your time. :P

EDIT: Part of the patch came out today. I think it was only to stop this 1 bullet kill glitch. I dont know if I ever experienced it to my benefit, but it makes sense how I was sometimes blasting away at someone and they dropped me when they had 1 health left.

No, its still beasting for me. :P Its the only assault rifle with 40 damage oppose to 30 that every other AR, Carbines, and most PDWs have. Mixed with its slightly slower rate of fire it just works well. Its the stability more than anything that makes it deadly. The suppressor doesn't do much to hamper it. Suppressor drop LMG accuracy by half... so its pretty useless by comparison.

I need to get the SCAR-H unlocked, the first couple weapons for these kits are not that great. I had to change my helicopter buttons back to lefty veteran. I couldn't get the hang of the stick only controls. Looks like I'll have to hit level 10 and then 20 to unlock most of the initial assignments. My brother had to tell me about the level requirements for assignments.. I thought something was busted because I wasn't getting any assignments done.

This game looks amazing on the PS4. Its a shame they don't have squad in menus, server queues or load outs in the menu.. Those 3 basic features from BF3 were amazingly useful compared to trying to get into a match with a friend now. If I had 10+ friends in different matches, I didn't see any way of seeing what friends were in what matches for me to join.

It's at the main multiplayer screen. But I guess they really want you to use battlelog. Seeing as I play with my computer at my back, I can change class load outs on the fly while in game. You couldn't do that on bf3. It would say that you were in game blah blah. Bad Company 2 also made you change load out options in game. BF3 was the only console version that let you do so from the main menu. I don't know why they took that away.

I used the testing range to get a grip on how sniping works on BF4.. The range finder is amazing. All sniper rifles let you adjust the range of the scope by hitting the down d-pad while scoped in. This is a huge improvement over BF3. If someone is about 200 meters or so away, hit the d-pad down to 200, then aim right at the guy's head. By adjusting the range of the scope, it will automatically shoot the bullet high to compensate for bullet drop. This is huge for me. If I can figure out how to post a video I uploaded to FB on here I'll show you what I mean. Anyway, the range finder works like the airburst range finder. Basically point your sights at an enemy, the range finder tells you how far away that target is. If the target is 420 meters away, set the scope range to 400, then aim just a hair above their head to compensate for the extra 20.. boom, headshot. Without the range finder attached to the scope, you'll have to guess the range from experience.

Ah I see then... I dunno if Ill trade out variable zoom for this. BF3 console didnt do a good job of showing bullet drop until you got the very last sniper rifle... The drop is clear as day on PS4... I'll give it a shot, but I like dropping the bullet into a head like its a basket ball going into the hoop... nothing but net. XD

OK, Now I see what is going on. What you are talking about is the range setting... and the range finder... two completely different things. I didn't know about the range settings until a few days ago. I was confused on how you had the range finder at rank 10, but I didn't read the part about test range. :P

That was a good video. He explained it better than me. :P What he didn't mention is that when you are going for longer distance shots, you'll notice the trajectory of the bullet is almost unrealistic from the angle you are shooting. I set it for 1000 meters and when you shoot it, unscope and you'll see the bullet is following a path as if you lobbed a basketball in the air even though the gun was pointed parallel to the ground. XD

I really like this system. Accounting for bullet drop with range settings will make this much easier now. Until last night, I was doing it old school shooting an inch over a guys head. XD

Also, on that video I put on facebook.. the one where I shot the driver in the jeep.. at the beginning of that video I was sniping. Instead of using a range finder, I used the flag as my range finder. The flags always show how far away they are. I was 200 meters away, so I set the range at 200 and shot directly at every enemy trying to cap the flag. I was getting consistent hit markers. Its much easier to snipe now.

EDIT (fixed)

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
