Kite

Almost Human

By Kite, in TV,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ykwxg534yAw
Looks very good and high production for a tv series
Judge Dredd meets iRobot
Karl Urban + JJ Abrams = awesome
cant wait
The show will be predictable, solve murders each week, while the robot teaches the human what it means to be alive
and how the human grows to trust the robot
but this is one ill be following
Also i am glad when film stars do TV shows as the quality is usually higher (24)
but the worry is they don't like to be tied up for too long due to a film deal that pays way more for a lot less time

Fuse

By Sledgstone, in Games,

The demo is out now for PS3 and Xbox 360 Gold members. This game is supposed to be a co-op shooter as opposed to a shooter with co-op gameplay. It looks good, I'll try out the demo this weekend.

Electronic Arts has signed a deal with Walt Disney to be the the exclusive publisher of Star Wars games. The deal comes off the heels of Disney's decision to shut down LucasArts. Both DICE and Visceral will make new Star Wars games, while BioWare will continue to produce titles for the genre. EA refused to comment if they would pick up Star Wars 1313 or First Assault which were all but dead projects with the former studio closing shop, but this move should excite fans with the possibility of a Star Wars themed Battlefield and the possibility of KOTOR3.

I personally would love to see a KOTOR 3 done on Mass Effects engine.

Here is the teaser trailer for COD: Ghosts... notice something about the next installment by Infinity Ward? Modern Warfare is mysteriously missing?

Not surprising seeing how horrible MW3 was. It was easily the worst game in the franchise's history. While the trailer shows nothing about the game, it is clear that this game will not be related to the MW line.

Infinity Ward's executive producer Mark Rubin had this to say:

"Everyone was expecting us to make Modern Warfare 4, which would have been the safe thing to do, we saw the console transition as the perfect opportunity to start a new chapter for Call of Duty. So we're building a new sub-brand, a new engine, and a lot of new ideas and experiences for our players."

We will get our first look at the next generation of COD at the May 21st unveiling of the new Xbox console...

.
I'm wondering if the major renovations Treyarch did to the COD's ranking systems and unlocks had IW worried that they would lose their spot as studio that makes the better COD games... which they already had by Black Ops I IMO. Hopefully it's a wake-up call because MW3 was a shit sandwich. Back off the insanely overly powerful killstreaks that are relatively easy to obtain and refocus on the gun play that made COD4 so great. Treyarch has great concepts, but their guns are very lacking. BO2 they were more balanced but still underpowered as a whole. I never thought I'd say this, but the Stopping Power and Juggernaut perks need to come back.

I've been getting ready for spring for the last couple months and its taken up a crazy amount of my free time. We expanded our garden to be really huge last september in preparation for growing fruit and veggies. Then we decided to expand it another 6 more feet in one direction which we finally got finished last weekend. It was alot of work because our garden has an almost 6 foot tall deer fence all around it. We hammered in u-posts into the ground and attached the deer net and buried the bottom of the net so nothing will burrow under it. I should do measurements at some point to figure out its total volume. Its huge. lol.
We have 3 apple trees, 3 cherry trees, and 1 nectarine tree in there. We still have to move 3 of those trees into their permanent locations (they are only 1 or 2 year old trees so its still possible to dig them up) and we have to plant a new apricot tree in there. I prepped the two rows for veggies last month but theres alot of weed whacking to do still and plants to move. We have 4 grape vines, 4 blueberry bushes and multiple raspberry plants to move. I started a bunch of veggies from seed and those tomatoes are still in an unused bath tub in my house with a light over them getting bigger every day. I'm looking forward to getting everything planted and done so all this gardening can give me a break.

Well my dryer broke after about 15 years and multiple repairs I've done over those years. I had to buy a new dryer. So far so good. I was finally able to get my laundry done again and my bathroom no longer smells like dirty socks and febreeze.

FML my pressure tank is failing for my well. Its getting replaced next week. Getting a new whole house water filter installed too along with some new valves and safety upgrades. Props to the well company employee for giving me the tip of hooking up an air compressor to the pressure tank to put some air in the bladder to get the system gimping along until the repair work is done. I miss public water. lol.

This has been a busy summer. I'm almost looking forward to winter so I can get a break from all the lawn mowing and outside projects. Hopefully the snow blower I bought this year works good so I'll have alot of free time this winter to get caught up on things. When I've had free time I've been playing Final Fantasy X over the last 5 months and I've somehow finally hit 100 hours on it. Lol. Only took me about half a year.  I still didn't beat it yet but I'm at the end game stuff now with the monster arena and omega ruins.
