Battlefield updated their website today as a teaser to the official game reveal on March 27, 2013. Their website is displayed as a window that is fogged over and covered with moisture. With a little mouse work you can partially reveal what appears to be an IFV. Square Enix is planning on releasing the HD remakes of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 later this summer. I'm assuming these two games will get an official release date at E3. The HD remake versions will be based off the international versions that never made it to North America release. Final Fantasy X International features additional bosses and an Expert Sphere Grid option. Final Fantasy X-2 International has additional missions, two new dresspheres and new combat options. While the PS3 will get both games in a bundle, it appears as though the two games will be sold separately for the PlayStation Vita. Reference: Siliconera Click here to view the article

. I haven't played a 2D fighter in a long time. But this game is sparking my interest because of the interactive environments, including whats in the background (hence 2.5D). However after watching this video of Doomsday vs. Shazam, I really don't understand how 1/2 of the characters in the game's roster could even stand a chance against the heavy weights. The game looks decent. Its Deadpool so expect his style of humor and violence. I'm not a huge Deadpool fan myself, so I don't think I'll get this game, but it is nice to see Marvel going through with a violent game like this. Thank you Disney. According to a report by Asahi Shimbun (a Japanese newspaper) - referenced from Daily Mail the new Playstation 4 could cost as little as 40,000 Yen when it is released later this year. 40,000 Yen equals £270 and for us in the US, about $430. This is a huge difference in price compared to the large $599.99 price tag the PS3 started out at almost 7 years ago when it debuted. Click here to view the article

Polygon is reporting that J. J. Abrams and Valve are beginning work on movie adaptions of the popular games Half-Life and Portal. Both of these games have huge followings and with everything else on J.J. Abrams' plate (Star Trek, Star Wars), lets hope he does these games justice in the theater. Click here to view the article

The new motorcycles look great and the new Air Superiority has really grabbed my attention. One of the things I've noticed is that the map shown on the air superiority video does not have any ground troops. No stinger missiles and plenty of wind turbines to break heat seeker lock-ons. For those of you that do not know, Syfy has teamed up with Trion Worlds to create something truly unique. It is called Defiance. Defiance is a TV series and it is also a MMO shooter game. Events that happen in the tv series will affect the game and events in the game will affect the tv series. It looks good, has potential.. and now look at this quote from an announcement made back on 05/21/2012 with some info on the impressive group of people that are working on this project: http://community.defiance.com/en/2012/05/21/defiance-pilot-production-begins/ That sounds like a great combination of talent and now my expectations are pretty high. Now lets look at the game: It looks like a mix of Borderlands with Resident Evil's 3rd person perspective. Could be good. I'll have to sign up for the beta. Defiance is set to premiere Monday, April 15, 2013 at 9:00 p.m. on the Syfy channel. Defiance the game will be released April 2013 for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
