  1. These two clips show off Blizzard's PS4 version of Diablo III and how they improved the controller interface and the new features made just for the consoles. I like the nemisis and apprentice features.
  2. It looks like Ubisoft will definitely be making a Watch_Dogs 2. Did anyone else get this email? I haven't taken the survey yet, but I did read on other sources that Aiden Pearce may not be the main protagonist in the sequel.
  3. Naughty Dog has possibly made one of the best looking PS4 games yet.. A note at the beginning of this clip reads "The following trailer was captured directly from a PlayStation 4", which implies that this is footage of the in-game engine and not a CGI rendered scene. If Uncharted 4 will have this much detail, I'll expect it to be one of the largest games to install in 2015. Click here to view the article

  5. My brother informed me that his PS4 ejected a couple games on him last week. He told me that he turned off the system, unplugged it, cleaned off the power and eject buttons on the console, lifted it up and put it down.. plugged it in the next day and he hasn't had an issue since. He said that when it was happening, he was playing a digital game and the console would randomly make the ejection noise even without a disk in it. I experienced this issue last night and today. I noticed my BF4 disk was sticking out of the PS4 yesterday and I figured someone probably rubbed their butt against the button by accident. Well.. today when I went to put Watch Dogs in, I noticed BF4 sitting there like a tongue sticking out at me. I put Watch Dogs in so it could start installing and I walked away for a bit.. I came back and the game was spit out. I put it back in, watched the install for a while and it ejected again. I did a quick google search and I found this article: http://techbooters.com/2014/04/02/ps4-auto-ejecting-discs-heres-fix/ Which references this article: https://support.us.playstation.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5061 I easily pushed off the glossy part of the PS4, located the screw... Not the HD screw which is obvious.. no, this screw is straight down. Its a manual eject screw. I have a set of small screw drivers and started turning it. The screw appears to float and do nothing, so I pushed down on it while turning and then it seems to have some resistance and it felt like that is how the screw is supposed to manually eject discs. So I turned it clockwise for a while and it never seemed to fully tighten, and when you release pressure from that screw it resumes floating in the air. Anyway, after turning it clockwise a bit, I put the cover back on the system and put Watch Dogs back in. So far it has finished the install and it has been running for about 40 minutes now without an issue. I'm not certain if this is a major flaw with the cd drive or a simple case of a screw not being torqued correctly prior to shipping. If it starts ejecting disks on me again, I'll deal with Sony's support and see if I need to send my system in or not. Its odd, because the system has been running great up until just last night / today. Maybe its taken 6 months of use for the hard drive's natural spinning to cause enough vibration to loosen that screw? I'm not certain. But if it happens to anyone else, try this screw tightening fix, it takes about 2 minutes.
  6. http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/04/29/major-ps4-system-update-out-tomorrow-updates-for-ps-vita-and-ps-app/ SHAREfactory: After you update your PS4 to v1.70, an icon to download our free SHAREfactory app will appear on your PS4 system’s home screen once it’s available. There’s also a countdown timer prior to the release of the game so you’ll know how soon your game will be available for you to start playing. Option to Disable HDCP for Games: This highly requested feature will allow you to have the option to turn off HDCP for games so you can capture longer gameplay sessions directly from your HDMI output and export them elsewhere. USB Export Option for Captured Gameplay: It’s now even easier to show off your heroic gaming moments and the SHAREfactory videos you create with the world using this feature to export your videos and screenshots to a USB drive. Just click on the DUALSHOCK 4 SHARE button, save your gameplay on a USB drive, and then share your proudest achievements on other social networks and other video platforms. 8. I was playing Domination on Operation Mortar when I got this UCAV Airburst triple kill. The shortest effective range for the UCAV is shown in this video. From the moment I shot it, I was holding up on the control to pitch the UCAV down as fast as possible until the last moment. Around 120 meters in the shortest distance a UCAV can be effective at.
  9. My first impressions of the SR338 is that it is a DMR with all the sniper rifle scopes. I'm really surprised this is in the same category as the rest of the sniper rifles. This gun reminds me of the SKS from BF3. This gun is definitely a DMR except that its only good for medium range. Up close shots and you need at least 2-3 shots to kill an enemy at point blank range. This isn't good at all for my style of Aggressive Recon. I don't see how you can get 3 shots off in time when it has a bigger accuracy penalty than a regular DMR with follow up shots. Any other gun could easily take you out in a fire fight up close.
  10. I got the last Sniper Rifle ribbon I needed for the "Always Deadly" assignment and unlocked the SR338.
  11. The hovercraft is extremely fun to drive and this roadkill got me laughing pretty good. It also earned me the trophy "Killing Me Softly"
  12. The Attack Boat is king on these new maps.
  13. The Naval Strike Maps are great for long range kills.
  14. Watch as I take out two helicopters with my T-90 Main Battle Tank. On the second helicopter, my Staff Shell actually kills the pilot first and then registers as a vehicle hit.
  15. At the end of this video I achieved the closest thing possible to quickscoping in BF4.
  16. BF4 Long Range Sniping 1,042 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61. This is the longest head shot I've had in this game so far. It looks like there are some graphical issues with BF4 on PS4 at this distance.
  17. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 978 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61. This guy was a great target. The game had a glitch unfortunately. After my initial hit, I didn't see the actual hit marker or bolt action animation. Even so, it was a great shot for me.
  18. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 986 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61. This shot got me the Recon Master Dog Tag and the Marksman Medal.
  19. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 980 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61.
  20. Battlefield 4 Long Range Sniping 916 Meter Headshot with the SRR-61.
  21. While taking out a Mobile AA, the driver jumped out right on top of our tank and took some bullets to the face.
  22. An EA DICE animator revealed that the new Battlefield 4 expansion pack "Dragon's Teeth" will include a two handed ballistic shield. DICE was going to make the shield one handed and work in conjunction with a hand pistol, but limitations on the older gen systems made it impossible across all platforms. Because this game is on the PS3 and Xbox 360, all versions of BF4 will be limited to weapon and gadget functionality based on what those systems can handle. Its a shame they released this game on the older consoles. Now we'll have a Call of Duty style shield instead of something unique to Battlefield. Although, this shield when used by a couple squad mates at the same time could really change Operation Metro and Operation Locker matches, assuming an M320 LVG grenade could bounce off the shield. 24. The XM25 Airburst is an amazingly effective weapon.
  25. C4 can be thrown a small distance without having to be right on top of the enemy.
