    Michael Buble (sp?)

He's excellent in his live performances and has got a smooth voice, reminds me of Sinatra in some ways. Really recommendable stuff.

    Bleach

Sounds pretty cool and the cast, from what I remember, seemed pretty memorable. I'm also watching YYH right now and the tournament is going on, think they're in the semi-finals hehe.

    Bleach

I saw the first 3-4 episodes ... I think the last episode I watched was when one of his pals who's really tall n huge helps the bird out (if I remember correct). Now the series has over 95 episodes. Wonder how this anime is, is it worth getting ? Are there lotsa fillers like Naruto ?
  4. Benediction's Trascend The Rubicon, alongwith Malevolent Creation's Envenomed.
  5. Deceased - Luck Of The Corpse (reissue yaaaaay).
  6. Was listening to Full Metal Alchemist's first soundtrack cd in the car.
  7. Yup BlitzZ, from the UC timeline I've watched 08th MS Team, Stardust Memory and Mobile Suit Gundam (which I fairly recall since I saw it in bits and parts) ... all this before watching War In The Pocket. WITP is a good show indeed, but I have to agree with Strider, atleast for me it didn't get bigger than 08th MS Team or Stardust Memory. But then again, it's only my personal preferance hehe. I'm dying to watch Zeta Gundam although and MSG if I can by the end of the year, so I can go through the series' story step by step.
  8. Watching the initial frames of the first episode made me wonder 'goddamn, this kid's annoying and if he's going to play an integral part of the series, I'll be damned' X'D but I was proven wrong. I was not annoyed by his character, moreso, at the thought that the series had a 'kiddy' element to it. I'd have to say it's an excellent series and shows Zeon in a slightly different perspective, we're riding their story. The opening scenes with the Zeon suits is really sweet hehe and they decipate the Federation suits, ending battle is also pretty good between the Zaku and the Gundam. All in all, a good story and not just senseless fighting in super suits. How do you guys rate this series ?

    Hello!

    Hiya Serenity, welcome aboard.
  10. This morning while putting my clothes on - Ugly Kid Joe's Cats In The Cradle.
  11. Ahhh ! Yeah, the dual audio was higher on space for download, but if the dub wasn't good, I wouldn't bother getting both versions of it. Yup Strider me too actually, prefer the Japanese voice actors, but only on a re-watch if I have the option for English, I do switch.
  12. Heh dub as in voice acting stuff I guess ... ne ? X'D I'm not supa good at technical anime words as yet hehe.
  13. GREAT shots o_0 ... you should try out at photography Lady. Love the house picture (you must've walked quite a bit for that one), and the dog looks gorgeous !
  14. I've finished watching the series + the two OAV's and all I have to say is why haven't I heard / seen anyone else talk about this ?!! This is one great series, with memorable tunes, allows each of it's characters (complex) to build up and grow within the story. The interplay between certain characters is great, and the tactics used are intelligent. It reminded me a bit of Naruto during some parts (not for it's Ninja'ness but for the direction in story sometimes), but the show just gets bigger and darker as you go deeper into the 62 episode marathon, but it doesn't stop there. The series might end abruptly for you with many unanswered questions and follow-up storyline, but that's EXACTLY where the first OAV picks up from, which's good. The first OAV makes sure for a completion in story and you're left satisfied. The second OAV is a really different from the original series' concept, and has elements of .hack to a certain extent. It disappointed and was just a notch lower than it's two predecesors although. All in all, a must watch indeed. I'm also watching a bit of Yu Yu Hakusho but I like HxH much better. Ofcourse, be warned that the first few episodes might be misleading, but once you get past 5 or 8 I think, it's a joy ride you don't want to stop. Synopsis as per Anime News Network: Gon Freecs, a young boy that lives on a small island learns that his father who he doesn't remember is an extremely famous man and has become somewhat of an amazing hunter. Gon takes the hunter exam to seek out his amazing father, but on the way while teaming up with 3 other candidates, Kurapica, Leorio, and Killua, he learns that there is more to becoming a hunter and the challenges that he must face will be beyond his imaginations.
  15. How's the English Dub for this series ? I'm thinking of getting this soon ... anyone care for a short review
  16. ^ that's not their best song, but it's from an excellent album. What's your favorite album by the band, FM ? Kim Wilde's Kids In America.
  17. Awesome ! This's definately making it to my wish list on da comet . Also, I don't need to watch Fumoffu as Strider noted, it's just a side story, no relation to the 1st and TSR. Guys, FMP's TSR could also be good material to review ne *nudges everyone who's seen it*
  18. Is this better than the first ? How does it compare ? Reading your posts it feels gorier and prolly darker I assume ... I just finished watching FMP's first series and it'as really good, except for the end where I expected a nice Lambda drive battle between the two mech's
  19. Is that episode 200 - Kakashi's Gaiden Special ? I've gotta watch the last 3 releases, 197 onwards
