Bah, now I feel lost. Finally got caught up to current and I'm sad because I can't just watch 5-6 episodes a night anymore. Been a long time since I've had this feeling while watching an anime.
Man that fight between All Might and All for One was spectacular. Such an intense two episodes (not to mention the whole training camp). God damn I'm glad I picked this up. Now I'm just curious about how they'll end season 3 (I really hate my inability to just be surprised, all the possibilities they can use (though I hope they go with what I'm predicting, will make Season 4 even better if they do)).

Finished Season 2 tonight and by god was it amazing. While I agree with you that the middle arc should of been the last arc it's understandable why it's set up the way it is (considering what's coming (yea I haven't watched that far ahead but I already know whats going to happen (damn my curiosity and my friends inability to keep his mouth shut))).
By far the middle arc has been not only an amazing area of plot and character development but by god was it gruesome. Considering the light hearted and battle focused sports fest and the action packed final exam (which has cemented my hatred for Bakugo even more (I get where he's coming from but his character just rubs me the wrong way)) it's kinda surprising they'd throw such a dark arc in the middle of all that. Might I also add I simply love Gran Torino (and the fear he inspires in All Might) and I have a much better understanding and have actually started liking Todoroki.
I have to say I'm amazed how much this show has grown on me (much like Gurren Lagann). Like I said before I generally hate shounen series and I'm not a huge fan (you could almost say I hate) superhero (which lets admit this is what they are) related media but for some reason this show is just great. Definitely one of my favorite series. While I know it's not done airing I can't wait to start watching Season 3 and get caught up to current.

Just to warn you there's another recap after episode 8 of FMP (which really pissed me off Saturday night when I went to watch it).
Just wait there are so many more feels coming in Steins:Gate. We're jumping even further down the rabbit hole.

Nier Automata, Breath of the Wild, and God of War are probably the best games I've played as far as enjoyment factor in the past 5 years. They're all single player games. The problem with MP experiences now is balance is prioritized over fun. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 after the Javelin Glitch and Model 87s were nerfed was just a fucking blast to play... because EVERYTHING was OP as shit... the models were so OP that they were more OP than all the OP stuff. The game mechanically may have been a mess, but everyone was on an equal playing field with just about every gun being viable because you could choose in what way to be OP. It balanced itself. That was fun. Basically Esports ruined MP games. Overwatch is about the only game I enjoy that is balanced fairly well... but its purely an objective game with the need for strategy. MW2 demolition, you shoot 4 tubes around the bomb, chuck your nades, call in the air strike, pave low, arm the bomb, and post up the choke point and obliterate everyone that funnels in.   Ah back when I try hard carried teams to victory. Now if a MP game can't be esports, they just don't fool with making them.

It saddens me that Bungie thinks they can get away with this shit. I mean the expansion looks good (Bladedance making a comeback?) but honestly it's not worth the price tag (especially considering I would need to drop money to get get Curse and Warmind just to play it) or the disappointment tied to it once it's apparent they'll only deliver on half the promises they made. It's baffling how people still give this company money (and how many still praise how great D2 is, even after all the bullshit they've pulled).
Honestly as long as BFV is half of what they're talking about I'll be happy (even if it's only 5 maps but I doubt it, DICE has never really screwed us that badly. Their bosses on the other hand are another story). I won't hold my breath for The Division 2. Outside of R6S Ubisoft has done nothing to make me think it'll be any better than The Division (a game that still hasn't had any story progression beyond how it ended). True the game is in a better place but how long did it take? Are you really ready to invest money into a game that will probably have the same start as the first one? I'm not and unless I'm impressed by what I see once it releases I probably won't (don't get me wrong, I liked The Division for what it was. The story was good and the game play was solid but it just got so tedious without a group to play with. Plus after a while the grind for better gear got boring and wasn't as rewarding as it is in other games (I don't mind grinding gear but I hate grinding when the chances are slim to none that I'll get anything good (I mean come on I still play FFXIV, a game designed to be a grind and I fucking love it because I always feel like I'm working for something tangible))).
Anthem is BioWare's swan song. It better be good because if it isn't we might not see BioWare for much longer. I really hope it's everything they promise it to be but I'm tempering my expectations. I refuse to get hyped by all the youtubers making video's about it or to get hyped in general. I want tangible proof this game is worth my money and that won't come until we get game play footage and actual news worth getting hyped about. Gaming is leaving nothing but a bad taste in my mouth as of late and games as good as Detroit are becoming few and far between (which as a lovely surprise by how good the game actually was). I have only one game this year I've been looking forward to and that's Ace Combat 7 because those games are the only ones I get hyped for (I've never been disappointed by the main Ace series (numbered titles, Assault Horizon was thankfully not a main series staple because you and I both know how much that game sucked)). I just wish we'd get more information on it.

While I have yet to play Heavy Rain (I got a copy of the PS4 remake/remaster with my purchase of the Digital Deluxe Version of Detroit, will probably start playing it here soon) if she liked it I'm pretty sure she'll love Detroit. I can't stress enough how much I love this game (you can ask my co-worker, it's all I've been talking about since yesterday (luckily he hasn't been annoyed yet because he's been playing it too)).

For the final fight alone the second movie is worth watching, it's just that fucking awesome. As I said there are some changes that just seemed weird to me (mostly with story and character flow, they retconned a lot of what happened in the last 3-4 eps and completely condensed the whole Anti-Spiral reveal/Simon arrest into like 10-15 minutes) but the movies are worth a watch (though overall the story is laid out better and the characters progress more fluidly in the series) if you want to say you've had the complete TTGL experience (though they underplay Kamina a lot more than I'd of preferred, he's still a major focus but it seems they really rushed through his arc to get to the more meaty story bits which felt like a complete disregard for his importance (the second movie does a good job and establishing how important he was but it felt really underplayed in the first movie)).

Finally got both movies watched and I have to say for recap/condensation movies they were pretty damn good.
The first one was what you'd expect from a condensation of the first 15 episodes and while it was good some of the changes were kinda weird (like the final battle with the Four Generals, while I like this version somewhat more than the original fights it left out a lot of what motivated Simon to break out of his meek self and into the person he became) and a little off-putting. Overall though enjoyable.
Now the second one was, well I just don't know how to put it because I don't think there is a word in any language that can describe just how pure fucking awesome it was. Again some of the changes were weird and off-putting but that final battle was beyond awesome, probably the most enjoyable 30 minutes I've ever seen in a movie. Pure fucking insanity is the only real way to summarize it.
Without a doubt this is probably going to go down as one of my all time favorite mech anime and anime of all time (nothing will ever beat out Zeta Gundam for top mech anime but this is a close fucking second and Aria will always remain my all time favorite anime but this is close up there (displaced by like 5 or 6 other shows, definitely in the top 10 though)). After watching the movies I just can't talk myself out of buying this now and I must own this for my collection (I just wish it didn't cost so much x.x). I didn't think Trigger could top Kill la Kill for me but they did and did it before Kill la Kill was even created, god damn this show and the movies were amazing (I just wish it didn't take me 11 years to finally watch it).

That's generally why I buy anime at or around Christmas. Right Stuf's Black Friday/Christmas sale is fucking nuts, 50+% off on a lot of shit (though it seems to be the same things every year with a few different things thrown in from time to time). Sadly Aniplex titles are never on it (and if they are they're sold out before I ever get a chance to order any).
Generally prices aren't really that bad considering you can get a BD complete set of a lot of series (depending on length) for the price of a new video game (maybe a little bit more depending on a few things) now-a-days. You just have those fucking scum bag companies like Aniplex who think it's a great business plan to price gouge (even though they're apparently up to 50% cheaper in other countries). Plus you also have companies like Right Stuf who constantly have sales going to one publisher or another every week. I remember when it cost $200 for a DVD boxset back when anime was first becoming big here in the states (that's how much I paid for my Trigun Complete Boxset over 10 years ago (original run from Pioneer before they stopped publishing anime)) so we've come pretty far since then price wise.
Depending on what my paycheck looks like on Friday I might pick it up. I do have 20 hours of overtime so I might just use that to get it (even though I would like to buy a new mouse and keyboard, sigh to many choices and not enough money to go around) but then again I did pre-order Detroit: Become Human two weeks ago so I should probably wait.

I noticed it as the series progressed, the man knew what was going to happen that's for sure (to bad he had to die so early in the series. You want to talk about a gut punch I thought my entire world collapsed at the end of that episode).
I'm honestly contemplating buying the BD Complete set on Right Stuf that comes with both movies but I'm not sure I can afford a $150 hit right now (Aniplex price gouges the hell out of shit here in the US, it's the only reason I haven't bought Kill la Kill yet) but god damn I need to own this wonderful piece of greatness in all its HD, remastered glory.

It's been a rough ride and the way things are shaping up (based on all 5 eps) it's going to be another emotional roller coaster. I'm honestly enjoying this more then the first one just based on the emotional tone alone but I still say the first one was amazing in it's own right (I just wish the fucking games would go on sale x.x )

I'm not expecting a lot of action for season 3 or at least the first half but I'm sure we'll be rewarded quite handsomely (if they adapt the chapters in order like they have been). Like I said before things should get quite a bit more interesting going forward.

IBO is pretty fucking good. The end fight (of S2) is pretty fucking epic. Probably my third favorite AU Gundam after X and Turn A.

Overlord was pretty much saved by the fans and Funi (was extremely happy to see it was green lit for a 3rd season). Season 2 has been hit or miss (still haven't watched ep 13 yet (see CR just put it up), I'll watch it Friday night when I continue watching Steins;Gate) but considering what they're building toward shit will get interesting next season (yea, I read ahead on the wiki for it so I already know whats going to happen). Plus seeing Sebas kick some serious ass has been a high point for me this season (and seeing Cocytus wipe the floor with those lizard people was fucking awesome). I still miss the action of season 1 but this has been a fun trip so far plus it's nice to see them do some character building, I felt last season didn't really introduce the character well enough (well the human ones, though I do wish they'd go into who Victim is a little more then they have. Based on what the wiki says he's the most powerful NPC in Nazerick with the exception of one that has yet to be introduced).
I haven't given anything on Netflix the time of day considering most of what they're producing just doesn't interest me. I give them props for giving original anime a shot but they all pretty much follow the same formula. Shit I still download shit thought I will admit I do a lot less then I did 3 years ago, Crunchyroll has spoiled me too much with all they're getting recently (I'm like a kid in a candy store with all the shit they're getting licenses for).

I thought it was pretty much confirmed that BF5 was WWII, could be wrong but I thought I read that somewhere. All I know is a lot of people have been talking about it and a good portion have been complaining wanting it to go back to Modern times.
I would assume if they do go WWII we'll get all the major campaigns as Operations if they stick to using that game mode. I'd seriously love one set during the Battle of the Bulge, fuck I'd be extremely giddy if we got one set on Iwo Jima (god damn that would be punishing and fucking fun). They'd be extremely stupid not to include all of the campaigns because they'd have plenty of content to keep the game alive for longer than two years (and I'd gladly shell money out for them if they decide to go with the Premium pass shit again (doubt it but we'll see), as long as they're done right).
Wal-Mart has pretty much killed most of their competition everywhere they go. If you're not a well know Grocery chain chances are high you'll succumb to the best that is Wal-Mart. Where I live currently you have three choices: Cash Wise (a Minnesota based grocery store owned by Coborn's Inc (where I used to work before I was fired)), Family Fare (didn't even know they existed till they bought out a local chain), and Wal-Mart. It's sad to say but Wal-Mart gets 90% of all business in this town because they're prices are so much lower than the other two (and, based on how things are going, Family Fare will most likely end up shutting down it's other two stores in town because Cash Wise took most of the business they got away from them). I also agree with DX's statement, most grocery chain buyouts end horribly for the company getting bought out.

Well damn at least you already have another job lined up. Shit only loosing a $1.48 is pretty good to go from a manager to a stock thrower, you'd loose a whole hell of a lot more in the stores in my area for that.
Here's to hoping we can start gaming again, I miss our old BF1 antics (just need to find another game we can all play together).

Yea, I'll be watching Stranger Things starting Sunday since I'm out of work until the 9th now. Nah, I don't have Amazon Prime ($100 a year is a lot to pay when I rarely order anything from Amazon (besides the occasional CD but I've gone almost completely digital with music so I buy mostly digital albums now), not to mention how many other subscriptions/services I pay for (subbed to two MMO's, subbed to two Twitch streamers, CR sub, Netflix sub, and a PSN sub)) but I've heard of Orphen Black. I'd really like to see it but tis the joy of everyone having their own fucking streaming service now instead of consolidating it in one place like it used to be (I really miss the days when Netflix was the only sub service).
I highly recommend Black Mirror though I suggest you don't binge watch it. If you really want to go ahead but I suggest enjoying the series and drawing it out as long as you can (it's only 13 episodes for 3 seasons with 6 more on the way sometime this year), give yourself time between episodes to dwell and think about the episode(s) watched and think about the message being said. I watched two episodes a day up until S3 when I did 3 eps a day (really wish I would of just watched 2 a day to draw it out longer). My only real complaint is how short the series is currently but then again I should be used to it based on how many British series I've watched. Really hoping they do a season 5 after 4 is finished.

Fuck my old mattress was fucking amazing, sadly it went to hell in about 5 years (I spend a lot of time in my room since it's where everything of mine is located so you can about imagine how much time I spend on my bed (between gaming, watching anime/movies, reading, and up until recently playing games on the laptop)). Only mattress I was able to sleep soundly on (and it was only $500 or so) but I had to get rid of it two years ago because it was really starting to kill my back. My current one isn't bad (I went a little firmer than my old one, still comfy and still a pillow top but it's not the same) but I'd kill to get another mattress like my old one (don't remember what brand it was and we don't have similar mattress places like the one in Arizona where I bought it).
I'd really love one of those Sealy mattresses but fuck are they expensive. One of these days I'll have one

Heh, I sleep with a pillow between my legs/knees as well. It's really good for managing back pain if you suffer from it as it keeps your spine straighter (and it's actually a lot more comfortable too, my knees used to hurt in the morning when I didn't use one. Now they don't). Sadly my back has been killing me over the last few days since I can't sleep like I normally do (this inclined sleeping fucking sucks. Hopefully tomorrow night I'll be able so sleep normally again (pain is mostly gone so lying on my left side shouldn't be a problem, right side will still be an issue for awhile)).

Honestly I haven't found anything that works for side sleeping pillow wise. I've always preferred softer pillows over firm ones because firm ones generally give me headaches if I lay my head on them to long. Currently I sleep with three pillows on the bed (when I sleep normally, considering I can't sleep on my side atm I've been sleeping at an incline with a shit ton of pillows stacked behind me (sucks because it's extremely uncomfortable but I'm sleeping a lot better then I ever have)) one of which is mid-range softness (main pillow), one that's firm, and one that's extremely soft. I tend to favor my left side over my right so the softer pillow is on the left side to support the main pillow when I sleep on said side (I use my left arm as extra support, oddly enough it has not caused any issues as of yet). The firmer support pillow is on the right side and is the only support I use when sleeping on my right side (for some reason using my right arm as support doesn't work so well so I don't). It's an odd sleeping arrangement but it's the only thing that was working over the last few years.
