You have to actually put them in your Windows/Fonts folder. Just save them to the desktop or another folder, open up your Fonts folder, then click and drag. As for where to get fonts, I am a font-whore. I collect them. ; I found out the hard way that if you have too many on your system, Windows will actually delete some to make room Yes, you can have to many fonts on your computer. *L* Anyways, try dafont or 1001 fonts for some good free ones.

Most people here are writers, not artists. The ones of us that do draw are rather busy right now. I'm sorry we can't help you, but there's no need to be a whiney-butt on your end. If someone could help you, they'd've been in contact by now.

This is kinda a weird question, but in the interest of hoping to start an interesting topic... Why do you write? Where do you get your ideas? The reason I ask is that I was going through my Gundam Wing fics, and in every one, I can pick out the single idea or sentence or paragraph that led me to write it. That's usually all it is. For example, one my upcoming characters in BSP came out of a random idea I had for the ending. In fact, chapter 27 has already been written because that was why she's in the story to begin with. Everything else about her is kinda just filler. Same with my GW stories. I had one where there was one paragraph I wanted to use, and the rest is filler leading up to it and concluding it. In fact, if you ask me about any of my fics, I can pull out the one thing that made me write it (go ahead, ask...i dare ya! ), and with the exception of BSP, it's NOT the storyline. That comes from trying to lead people to a logical way of inserting a single idea. It's really an odd trend with me, but it has compelled me to write. So I was just wondering what it was that compelled ya'll to start whatever story you have. Was it just the single character? Was it a general idea? Or was it something more specific? *shrugs* Just a thinking exercise, I guess.

man, it's been so long since i've seen Ranma........that was almost the only anime the local store carried for a long time, and they were just random tapes in English....but i always enjoyed it!....i'd love to find it all in order someday.......

I'm not going anywhere near Vista until I have to. I finally got used to XP. Besides, I'd have to do some major upgrading to run it as it's such a resource hog. Makes XP look like 3.1, according to a friend.

Sounds interesting. It also kinda sounds like Septerra Core, so might want to look into that to make sure you're not getting to close to that story.

Ok, just randomness. George Michal's 'Monkey' came on XM, and I got the weird urge to look up the lyrics. And I realized that I probally don't know what it means. I mean, I know what I thought it ment, but reading the lyrics, it doesn't make sense to me at all. Any songs you heard that either have never made sense, or became confusing after you saw the lyrics?

Full CGI, and the humans just look to 'cartoony', but watching the trailer, it looks like it'll be a lot darker storyline compaired to all the series and later movies. More like the first movie and the original comics. And since I loved the first movie (not the rest, really just the first movie), I'm cautiously excited by it. But no Shredder! That'll be kinda weird. But they have Patrick Stewart listed in the voice credits, even if they don't have who he's playing. That'll be cool. So, yeah, I'm actually kinda looking forward to it. I just hope they don't water it down into a kid's movie the way the series and later movies were. ><

From my interpretation of what's going on, they're not worried about someone dropping a lit cig in their laps and losing control of their car. They're worried about the effect of second-hand smoke. Yeah, a majority of drivers are stupid and we've ALL had our stupid moments in the car. It's like cell phones vs. drinking while driving. Yeah, they both cause the same amount of imparement, but when it comes down to it, you can drop the cellphone to deal with an emergency. You can't just stop being drunk on cue. Besides, ignorance is curable, stupididty is not. Unfortunatly. ><

There's a difference between drinking in a car and smoking in a car. Alcohol impares your abilities to the point where you can't drive. The most smoking has for it in reference to your driving ability is the people that take their hands off the wheels to light up. Smoking and driving won't kill you (well, the smoking part might, but not because it messes up your driving), yet drinking and driving can kill you and other people.
