Humble Weekly Sale - Arma

The new weekly sale has the first couple Arma games that let you play the DayZ mod. I've never played any of these games before and I have no idea what DayZ is. I know there is a standalone DayZ game thats in alpha but I heard its mostly people killing people with a few zombies in the mix. Anyone here play any of these before? Whats your thoughts on these games? Are they worth playing at this point, or should they be skipped for Arma 3 and the full DayZ game?

I have never played Daisy before but based on my experience with GTA Online & the following below

Day Z relies on people helping people... so you know.... everyone is an F'in douche and will just kill you on sight.

 

As I stated before, SWTOR is the only online game where the people I didn't know where pleasant, and I didn't mind interacting with them, and it goes back to that community of fandom.

I'll pass on DayZ.. I did read somewhere that "Rust" is shaping up to be the better game.

Both of those games shows what happens when PvP isn't optional. They need to make a game where areas are flooded with zombies... this is probably why Dying Light is more appealing to me, even though it seems to be pretty linear.
