Silk has dropped in price pretty big some they made those ascended changes. Only 2 silver a piece now.

Did it spike recently? Silk has always been 2 silver every time I bought it, maybe 3 silver at times. Its why I never understood all the gripe about silk prices.

When they announced the ascended gear getting a 10% bonus for that one week silk jumped to almost 4 silver.

Guardian is kinda like that as well in a defensive manner... until PvP. I can wreck people in seconds with my full burn guardian now. I swapped out my focus for torch so I Torch 5-Virtue of Jutice-Purging Flames-Judges Intervention. By the time I get through it anyone is just a big blue ball of fire. It works great on Mesmers. Instead of blocking I just go all out with burns. I can use my Renewed Focus to become invincible and regain an extra Virtue of Justice. With Balthazar Runes adding...

+100 condition damage and 20% burn duration on top of using sigil of fire on my weapons its pretty wicked. I'm glad my first character is my favorite for PvP. I'll probably make a Mesmer solely for finishing out all the jumping puzzles. The portal is straight cheat codes if you mess up.

I want to eventually make a character of every profession just so I can get a good grasp on their mechanics, strengths and weaknesses.

If her stealth aspect that everyone is guessing becomes true, she could be defense too. If she can cloak, my guess is that her DPS will be on par with Genji's standard attack. She might get a big burst combo like Junkrat's trap/mine or Roadhog's hook-shoot-melee. 

I've been playing a lot more Roadhog lately and enjoying it. His self sustain is really good, plus I love hole hog on a surprise flank. It's a triple kill almost every time. If Ana is the only healer I'll go with Roadhog or 76 and heal my damn self. Everytime I try to take one for the team I die to much to make a difference as a healer. Sometimes I'll go with Zenyatta too, but he needs line of sight like Ana, and some people don't know when to come back and get healed, even when I try to be Lucio, people play like mercy was picked and is pocket healing them. Mercy's mobility is wild now. She's very hard to hit unless your Reaper, D.Va, Roadhog, or Soldier where you can spray and pray.

This is the first phone I've had with stock android. it's taken a bit to get use to. While its not horrible, I don't get what people have against HTC Sense and Samsung Touchwiz. they're both really nice overlays. One thing I noticed is that google's default SMS app blows ass. It didn't even give me a number bubble on the icon. I downloaded QKSMS and its really simple and nice. Whatsapp just looked me to me and I rather not see the app name at the top at all times. I just needed something for SMS and not for everything, and the minimalist design of QKSMS works perfectly for me.

Try the Verizon messages app. I still prefer it over the regular SMS app but the smilies still annoy me because they only have their classic ones (looks like Apple emoji) or default (looks like Facebook emoji). The classic is far better than those lifeless faces they have as default.

Even tho it's labeled as Verizon messages, any android phone can use it because it's just another SMS app on the Google play store. It's actually pretty good after changing some of the default settings around.

Never even heard of it (another one that slipped by me), just got done reading a summary of it on Wikipedia. It actually sounds a lot like Log Horizon just in a different world and different circumstances (sounds like the main character is trapped in the world by himself with all the NPCs). I'll have to see if I can find fansubs for it as well, definitely sounds like a show I'd like.

The memory thing is actually a major part of the story later on in Season 2 when the players actually start realizing they're loosing their memories every time they die. At first its nothing major (insignificant stuff like names of places they used to visit and what not) but as they continue to die more and more memories disappear and they start turning into mindless Thralls (which is covered in the season 2 during one of the story arcs) who can think of nothing more then dieing in combat to get back home.

I'm almost done with Overlord. Meh. It's interesting enough to finish, but the main character and all his NPCs are so OP there hasn't been any real fights or sense of danger through out the whole thing. 

I finished it last night. If there was a season 2, I'd watch it. After doing a bit of research on the light novel, the story sounds pretty good. The pace of the light novel is going to cause issues as its not even finished yet and its been going since 2012. This first season was just a really long introduction to the story. I feel like this anime shouldn't have come out for another 5 years. I also learned that Tokyo Ghoul basically Fullmetal Alchemisted it's manga... which would explain why its so shit IMO.

The Japanese take a totally different approach to making anime than the west does with TV shows or Movies (Minus TWD). It seems the Manga/Light Novel gets hot, and they immediately have to start making anime off of it and pump out episodes until they run out of material. Then they choose whether to make the right decision and wait, or say  "fuck this original content" and fuck it up more often than not. Also from what I understand, new season are solely based off DVD sales rather than TV raitings and advertisement revenue like here. I get most of it, but I dont get the jumping the gun so fast on these manga's. Its irritating to wait years for another season via Attack on Titan.

He's part of the reason but there's more to it than him (in fact I hated most of the characters to begin with, most of them were annoying and none of them really brought anything to the show). Honestly I just didn't feel it was that great of a show, entertaining yes but I feel other shows with similar premises did better jobs then this show at selling me (Mirai Nikki (I forget its English name but I know you've seen it), while not exactly the same premise, is a much better show then this and it plays its own death game (though for a different prize)).

Yeah Future Diary is superior in every way. I guess I just tend to like death game shows altogether. It's also one of Funi's worst dubs. The Movie is better in a lot of ways even though it's CG. But sadly it's just one mission. 

The problem with $15 an hour is all this bullshit fight against evil big corporations not paying the little man enough. You can't champion the middle class by doing this shit because all it does is fuck small and medium size businesses. They cant afford to pay people $15 an hour. Thus you're actually just helping big business by maintaining a monopoly over everything becasue no one will ever be able to become an innovative start up company. Industry will never change unless it's cost effective for the status quo. I've argued with people about this before "You want people to stay poor!" No you fucking moron, no one deserves to live in a 150k sq ft house and drive a new Jeep when all the do is drop a basket of fries in oil... otherwise no one would want to aspire to be anything else.

Yes the overtime law had a lot to do with the first restructure even though my company denies it. A lot of companies did this and its not like they can go "Oh, well.. everyone can have their job back now that we don't have to pay you OT". And this latest move was their "fix". I'll admit there were a lot of people in the positions that were cut, that didn't need to be there. A lot has changed in the company over the last 10 years, and some people just had a leadership title but didn't lead anyone, and didn't pull their weight either because they felt some of the work was below them. I've always made it a point to make myself indispensable. I've always busted my ass and dealt with any unfair bullshit situations, by accepting it and still working hard. Thats why I've made it through 3 of these things. What irritates me are those that always seem to be safe from these by luck or by getting the right promotion or being at the right place at the right time. There is that certain echelon I've been trying to get to, but it always evades me because this happens when I'm so close. To get in, someone has to quit or get fired, which is rare. Of course the last 3 times its happened was after the last restructure and they ended up no cutting enough jobs, so those extras got to fill the new vacancies to level off stores to the right amount. But with how it is now, it will probably be years before anyone retires.

As a guy stuck in these low level positions (mostly by choice, I've worked my way up only to have it bite me in the ass so I'm happy being down here with the grunts) it's nice to see the incentive of raising the minimum wage however they're doing it the wrong way. Raising wages to a flat $15 an hour isn't the answer, it's their way of making themselves look like they care when they don't (and a way to make it so jobs don't leave the country which sadly isn't going to stop). I've said it more than once that minimum wage needs to be based on the currently standard of living in each city/state (more so city but that's due to where I live more then anything) as, like DX pointed out, most smaller to medium sized businesses can't afford to pay wages not centered on their areas SoL (businesses that are small mom and pop shops or state chains, not businesses like Walmart who could afford to pay all their employees $15 and up an hour but choose not to (don't be fooled by them raising their wages, just a publicity stunt. More wages means less people to work now so it gets harder on those employees still there (they actually eliminated a lot of positions in the company to do this))). Sadly the people leading our country don't see this (and Trump for one doesn't give two shits about us little guys trying to make a living) and just do things without fully thinking it through and businesses don't care outside of what it will cost them (hence the lay offs and what have you). Just because $14 an hour is the bare minimum needed to be able to survive where I live (due to the Bakken/Oil Industry) doesn't mean you should be paying your employees that in a small town where $9 an hour will let them live a comfortable life (not many places I know of where $9 an hour will suffice but I'm sure they're out there).

Sadly though it'll continue to happen. Eventually minimum wage will get so high we won't have any jobs to go after as they're all shifted overseas to people willing to work for less than a dollar an hour. I don't bitch because I make enough money to cover my bills, make sure I have food, and pay for those few luxuries I enjoy (even though I'm making less money an hour then I was before I got fired, man OT really makes up that difference though) but I know of plenty of people who don't (close friends as well who can't aspire to be more because they can't afford to get the schooling or training to do so) so yeah. Like I said I don't bitch, no reason to because no matter how loud we bitch very little gets heard or changed for the better.

Sadly DX it's those people who will never give up those positions and when they eventually do they'll probably restructure again to deny you the position (don't know the situation or what its like to work for you're company but I know plenty of companies that will do shit like that saying the position is no longer needed and they were getting rid of it). No matter how indispensable you make yourself it rarely ever pays off because after awhile those people just keep using you to better themselves (me being fired is one of those instances, busted my ass for 10 months to make the store look better only to get fired due to allegations that I was stealing only because the person who deserved to get fired was trying to take everyone who helped her out with her (yea she got fired but took nearly the whole management team with her). The Store Manager didn't even try to defend us in the fallout, just let us take the fall so he wouldn't look bad (again a reason why I never want to be in a position of power again)).

I've known 2 people that made upwards to 6 figures for their jobs and 1 that was making easily 200k a year. Over the last 20 years, when they retired at different times from their respective jobs, each one of them found out that the person that ended up with their jobs or the equivilant of their jobs were all making roughly 40-60k instead. All these old people know they got into their jobs at the right time with guaranteed raises when they were hired. All they had to do was stick with a company for decades to reap in all the rewards. Way back when job loyalty and retention was more important so all the companies gave out pensions, guaranteed raises, company matched retirement plans, etc. No jobs nowadays offer pensions except maybe being a teacher. The US companies have taken everything they can get from the employees over the years to increase their bottom lines and over time we all got used to it... except for those old people in their comfy jobs now. The old baby boomers are a reason we have the low wages we face today as well as all the jobs shipped overseas. All the companies are paying the old baby boomers such high wages and benefits that the money has to come from somewhere other than their profits, so all new employees get paid the minimum with no benefits. Even if all those baby boomers retired now, our culture is already used to these shit wages and they wont go back up. I had a coworker that was forced into retirement about 5 years ago. He literally died the year after that. I swear all these old people want to keep working until the day they die.

Eh, as far as recap eps go it wasn't bad and it at least had the next episodes name at the end so next week should be a new ep (I hope).

I just watched the episode of SAGA with Lily's dad. They didn't use CG for the end performance, and it was quite nice. I get that its more costly to do it this way, but man it looked way better. As techniques advance, I don't mind CGI too much. I guess I just like consistency way more though. The hybrid can be so jarring at times I much rather have either all CG or all drawn. The method is getting better though. Gridman, as you pointed out is probably the best usage of hybrid CG and animation I've seen to date. Double Decker gets everything right about car chases that FMP!'s last season got wrong. Even though I'm not a blu-ray buyer, It would be nice if they went back and animated all the performances in SAGA for the blu-ray/DVD release. I think Sakura and Saki's characters suffer the most in those sequences because of their more intricate and longer hair design.

I'm pretty sure they'll go back through and clean it up as they always do before a DVD/BD release (there are huge differences in quality between the broadcast version and the home video release, I can name quite a few shows this is true in), whether or not the CG will be any better or not is another question (they usually just go back to fix animation issues that they let slide due to time constraints). I hope they do since I'll probably throw money at the BD release when they get around to releasing it here.

Yea, Sakura and Saki suffer from it the most (Tae does as well but it works in her favor since she's not entirely there and her movements are CG friendly) which sucks because Saki is my favorite character. Sadly the next episode has a CG performance and it's not overly bad but it is cringy (you'll see what I mean when you watch it). It is frustrating though when you have a great episode like Lily's without using CG and you wonder why they just don't do that (besides cutting costs I don't exactly understand, especially when they had a great performance without it. I believe episode 8's performance isn't CG but I'd have to re-watch it to make sure).

Dragon Age 4 has already been confirmed to be in development but whether or not it will continue is up in the air currently with this latest fiasco. I also recently started playing TOR again so I'd really hate for that to get shuttered as well (though it is on the outs, current dev team is only 6 or so people).

With everything I've been hearing about Div 2 I'm sure it'll be a success but I'll hold my thoughts for after this weekends open beta but if it delivers more content both in the beginning and in the endgame it'll put the nail in the coffin for Anthem. I wouldn't go so far as to push Anthem to next gen but I definitely think it needed at least another 6 months before they launched it.

Gaming has been into a downfall ever since DLC became a thing back in the early 360/PS3 days and has continued to do so ever since Publishers have realized they can start monetizing every game like they do MMO's and Mobile games. Games as a service is probably the worst thing to ever happen to the industry and it's really turning me away from gaming outside of FFXIV and the few titles like Nier and Horizon. As much as I love this hobby I'm getting to the point where I can take it or leave it (I mean I'm down to buying 2-3 games a year now and rarely have time to even finish 1 of them).

It's a shame Anthem didn't get fully polished. How is the overall campaign? Is it worth watching a play through on youtube?

No not really. It would be like watching The Division. The story is actually pretty forgettable, but even if it wasn't, I can't see it being much fun watching people shoot, fly and take cover constantly. And then walking around fort Tarsis talking to random NPCs. I'd say cut scenes make up 2% of the whole experience. There might have been 5 in the whole 30+ hours it took to beat. Each individual mission was fun to play and I got geared up enough to jump into Grandmaster 1 difficulty just from doing the story.

Interesting, the open world concept sounds fun so I really hope it's implemented well. This new update might actually get me playing a lot more than I currently do (will also mean I'm going to have to step my research game way up to get those anti-siren ships built (curse you Izumo for not being done yet). Really want to get my hands on Azuma). Also look at that Unicorn Oath skin, so fucking adorable. Going to have to start using Uni a lot more so I can oath her (good thing she's my secondary carrier for my RN fleet).

I was using PVP to level but as I said I just got to bored doing it and I don't need to do it for SR Bulins (I've got those coming out of my ears, don't know what to do with them all). Should really do it more so I can get Eldridge but just can't bring myself to do it unless an event mission requires it.

Yeah, for some reason the game just likes handing me SE ships left and right (except Nagato, so pissed I didn't get her during her event) but won't give me shit for RN or IB. As I said not complaining as I love the SE ships but I really want to build up a killer IB fleet. I think I'm only missing like 30 or so SE ships (I know I'm missing 10 SR's and have most of the Rares and Normals (missing like 5 normals I think). Not to sure how many epics I'm missing). Most of what I am missing is event only though so it'll be awhile before I get those (most of the Epics I'm missing are chapter related (like Hiryuu and Souryuu, some reason the game decided I didn't deserve them when I was doing the story)).

Also can I just point out how fucking cute Little Illustrious is. God what a fucking great addition to the game. I also didn't know there was a Little Bel either and after seeing her I must spend all my cubes to get her. Man, Yostar out here playing a dangerous game with these adorable mini version ships (I really want Akagi-chan but gold is becoming a slight issue lately with me increasing level caps and this event (thankfully I got the last event ship I needed today so goodbye cubes, Strider wants his Akagi-chan)).

Ugh I'm missing L'Opiniatre, damn wishing well running at the same time. I'm trying to get U-81. I got Albacore from the merit shop already. I know subs aren't really important right now, but I still want them and want to get them leveled and geared. 2 missions a week is kinda wack. At least I got Centaur. Lets not get started on Azuma. I have her Qipao L2D for one day... (LOL I did my last hurrah 10 pull with 12 cubes left and got L'Opiniatre... I'm tellin' ya, if I cry and whine about it here, I get it on my next pull almost every time. )

Little Illustrious is super cute, so is Little Renown. I guess I missed Lil' Bel tho. The PvP thing is kinda a chore. I try to log in the 3 or so times a day so I only have to do 5 runs at a time. I kinda wish the shop had better rewards... you know like purple parts to upgrade gear. The Sandy retrofit event should be coming up soon... I wish it was Warspite but Sandy is the best AA ship in the game at full retro. I hear you need strong AA for world 12, but I'm sure it will come in handy for the new stuff. (plus i just want a rainbow tier ship just to say I have one.) Speaking of cuteness though, I think Unicorn tops my list (in the anime and game). I bought that big date skin since its the only one I could get that didn't cover half her cute little face. On top of that shes so good. I think I prefer her over Illustrious as far as her special talent goes. I've had her heal my vanguard back to half health from red repair sign status. Lusty is one of my top Waifu's tho so yeah.  

I just sorted by IB and holy cow its sparse. Prinz is my only SR. Z23, Z1, and Admiral Hipper µ are my only Elite. Leipzig is my only rare, and I have 3 normals. This is whats stopping me from trying any IB PR ships because I'd have to grind the shit out of low worlds with what I have to gain the XP. I'm currently working on Neptune since I mainly use RN light and heavy cruisers for her 3 million XP requirement.

I've been getting lucky on that right most slot not having Warspite. still a few days left for me to get wrecked. I've already lost more than 3 matches too which I think you can only lose 2 or 3 to get it. No way I don't lose a few more times.

The last mobile game I played was Snoopy Pop.  But my phone sucks and games load too slow most of the time. That along with me taking videos of my dogs doing cute stuff I'm always running out of space.. then I delete a game to take more videos of my dogs.

Don't really blame you any. I go through periods where I don't touch the ones I play for months except for doing the bare minimum (logging in for daily credit, "chore mode" if you will). Then again I don't really dedicate any time to playing them, I just jump on them when I have a free moment like when I'm waiting to go to work in the morning or when I'm just bored and don't want to do anything that will require more then a few moments to play (like waiting in queues on FFXIV).

As I always say mobile games aren't for everyone. Most people either get super addicted to them or they grow bored with them in a short amount of time. You'd be surprised how many mobile games I've played and dropped (it's sad really, last time I looked at my google play history I was honestly surprised by how many I've played and dropped over the years) due to lack of interest/time/boredom. Quite honestly I'm ready to do a purge again of games I play sparingly because at the moment I currently play 13 (some more then others but 13 all together) and it's getting a little too time consuming keeping up with chore mode (about a half an hour in the morning and an hour plus in the evening (mostly AL due to the Bismarck event)). I wouldn't say I'm addicted but I do admit that it does become somewhat of an obsession after awhile if you let it.

On the SR Bulins, I've never had any real trouble getting them (in fact I have like 4 currently that I have no use for since the two ships I currently have sitting in the dorm are already fully limit broken). Then again I don't hit the leveling and limit breaking hardcore either. I focus only on the ships I want up and I'm in no hurry for it. I also don't take anything serious in the game except events. PVP for me is just a leveling resource, could care less about anything else (well I shouldn't say that but I can't take it seriously when I can't get past Captain because a lot of the players on my server are powerhouses that keep me in the mid to high 4000's and I don't have the time to watch my PVP tries to get more then 10 chances a day). It's just a fun way to pass the time while collecting ship waifu's and arguing with other people who the best one is (Laffy, it's always Laffy. Yea, I might have an unhealthy obsession with her (I might need help)).

I honestly don't know how to react to that Sledge. Then again my mother does the same thing on her phone with her dog so I kinda get it.

Lori is just as annoying. I cant wait til she dies. Andrea isn't anywhere near as bad, probably because they cut out all that dramatic bullshit she does in the show.

I just finished it. I loved the series overall. The ending felt like it needed to be done in 3 episodes instead of one, or at least have an epilogue episode. You're given cloture on the overall story, but some minor questions remained unanswered and where you wanted some follow through on issues between characters are left to your imagination.

Felli is one of the most adorable characters I've ever encountered. Shes bad ass, but at the same time you wanna give her a big hug. The art style of the series is great... the OST starts out pretty weak, and doesnt match up with the action, but its like the fired the composer and replace him pretty early on in the series. I highly reccomend despite one of the minor characters looking exactly like Knives from trigun

Its 50 episodes over 4 seasons. I've passed on it for a long time becasue the art style kinda turned me off, but I regret I didnt watch this sooner.

It's got plenty of action and so much humor. It's definitely worth watching Sledge. It's one of the best purchases I've made, anime wise, in a long time.

I'll watch a few eps and see how it goes.

Well I can see where your Sailor Moon claims came from. Its mostly her and her exquipping. Other than that the Season 1 fights are pretty good even with the repetitive signature moves. I dig the humor and the relationship Erza, Gray, Natsu, and Lucy have.

In just the first 3 mins you'll see her exquip once and then again a couple more times off camera as she continues the fight. After season 1, the fights get much more intense.

And the xbox controller is a must.

Now that I've completed a few quests in this game, and had my first major boss fight, I can confidently say the story has me hooked. There really needs to be more games like this that go back to basics, while advancing the ways of telling stories.

It's easy for me to say NO these days because there's just no time in my schedule compared to what it used to be like maybe 5-8 years ago. It ain't cutting it if there's no quality and I use that for anime/ manga, television, movies, whatever else. You're lucky you have the time to see things through.

I guess thats the advantage of working the late shift. Not much to do when you get off at 11pm on a weekday around this city.
