  1. Finished up GARO before my impending BF1 binge. I didn't realize there was an actual live action show, until I looked it up because I thought it was odd it was listed as GARO: The Animation. Anyways, it was enjoyable overall. I've seen the premise used a few times before, but the fights were bad ass. Its one of the few Hybrid-CGI looking anime that I feel worked well. I'll always prefer the classic style, but CGI effects become more popular as time goes on, probably because it's cheaper to produce.

  2. Finished up HPs in VB and then caught a train in AB. I'm 60 HPs away from completing my scrapper. The hammer play is pretty cool, I need all my gyros to get the full experience.

      DeathscytheX

The HPs in HoT are still champions. I thought they were changing them to vets like most the events, but I guess not. I was able to solo the communes surrounded by vets by spamming nade kit, but I was lucky enough to catch the champion HPs in progress. I don't know how people enjoy base engineer. its such a massive rotation that is all ground targeted with ass for mobility. I guess I'm so use to being able to faceroll with DH and Reaper, or the high mobility of Ranger and Mesmer with their stamina regen traits/skills. Engi has some great damage, but you can't afford to take as much punishment as other classes like Warrior/Reaper/Rev.

    2. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Interesting. Whats your setup so far? Hammer, rifle, double pistols? You can only equip a couple of kits at a time right? like flamethrower and grenades?

    3. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Rifle is meta fo base, but it's laughable. You stay in nade kit and rotate 1-5 F1-5. I'm probably never gonna run fractals or raids with her so I'll use the power hammer build on meta battle. I already invested in zerk gear before the condi update.

  3. Finished World Completion on my thief. It was a more bearable slow process of doing a map a day here and there, rather than hardcoring it. I'll probably do my Engi next because she's around 30%. I doubt I'll ever do full MC on HoT, but I have been doing them on the LS maps. Hoping someone can help on HP for the HoT maps is just too discouraging. Its easy enough to get enough of them done solo or with the help of 1 random for an elite spec, but others are much harder to find help for, even HP trains avoid them.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

The HPs in HoT are bullshit IMO. Map completion should be accomplishable solo. I thought they were going to change that over 6 months ago but they never did. Especially the hero points that are in the middle of nowhere that requires masteries to even get to, with a champ event tied to it. wtf. I've been playing these maps alot more over the last month and I still have no idea how to actually get to the Guano HP in Verdant Brink without looking at a youtube video. Even if someone says in map chat "doing guano hp, help please?" by the time I get there that person has either died and can't figure out how to get back up, the night time event finished and its not possible to get there without additional masteries that person might not have unlocked, or they got so frustrated they left the area. The new LS maps are great and has given me encouragement that anet is going down a different path of game design.. because if the newer maps were anything like the HoT maps I wouldn't even play them. I don't know what the new expansion will be like but I highly doubt I'll pre-order it until I find out if the maps are actually going to fun or just frustrating as all hell with 4 contested waypoints again with everything tied off behind masteries and more mastery points that are only obtainable by having pre-existing masteries. I really like Ember Bay, you can go everywhere but if you have the lava tube mastery you can get there faster. Enjoyable content without frustration and a nice convenience boost once you get the mastery. Unlike HoT maps that block you off everywhere you go. With my casual playing of it, a year later I finally have enough HoT masteries done that I can finally attempt map completion of those maps.. a year later. wtf.

  4. Finished Yona of the Dawn. I really hope they make a season 2. The story was really good, and leaves so many questions to be answered. the animation was stunningly beautiful too.

  5. Fruits Basket ep 16.... the onions.... so many cut onions.... 😭

      Strider Hiryu

Yea that was a pretty emotional episode (not going to lie though, I had to go look up what it was about it since it's been awhile). Be prepared for more, this season really cranked up the water works and drama (the delicious, juicy drama (yea I'm a drama whore)). Can't wait to see your thoughts as you get further along (by far the best of the two seasons (which with how spectacular the first was says a lot)).

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Dammit Sledge marathon this shit! Just finished season two... holy shit at that reveal at the end. I wasn't expecting that at all. Akito makes a little more sense to me now. Kureno needs to get his fucking act together and see what he has right in front of him. Ugh, I need season 3! I want to dive more into Rin's character!

    3. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Told you it was awesome. All that juicy drama and that reveal was just icing on top of the drama cake. Was really nice to see how Kyo's character is evolving and how Yuki is finally growing into his own. Really can't wait to see this all come together in the end (I know how the manga ends and have never read it so I really look forward to the anime's climax).

My only complaint was how little they dived into Rin's character but as far as I've read this adaptation is following the manga almost word for word with minor changes so we should hopefully get more Rin character development next season (just don't know if I can wait that long).

  6. Funimation put up Your Name. I remember all the hype behind this film and how it it became the highest grossing anime at the box office. After watching it, it was kinda a letdown. I mean it wasn't bad, but Spirited Away is immensely superior to this movie. Its worth watching, but I wouldn't grade it above a solid straight to Netflix feature.

    1. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

It was absolutely beautiful from and animation standpoint. I just found it to be a typical love story. XD the musical montages sprinkled through out it didnt really do anything for me. I could have done without the episodic series style opening too. I liked it, I just expected more since it got so much praise and every new movie is wrote about comparing it to Your Name.

    2. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

That'll be the problem for the foreseeable future until something else comes out that's superior to it in some way (Shinkai has a new film coming out so who knows it'll probably kill the Your Name hype if its good (which who am I kidding, I'll think its amazing so my opinion here is pretty much moot XD)). Almost every sub-genre in anime has a "Your Name" title in it that everything else gets compared to so I completely understand the sentiment when looking at it that way.

Honestly Your Name's OST is probably one of my favorite ones to date so those muscial montages were amazing to me (one thing Shinkai does well is having a good musical score for all of his movies). Honestly my only gripe about the whole film is how it ended but I should be used to that by now, none of his fucking movies have a happy ending (Your Name is probably the only one that comes close to being a happy ending). They always end with both main characters going their own way either not remembering who the other is (ala Your Name), not recognizing each other in the future (5 cm), completely loosing their memories (The Promised Place), being million miles away from each other (Voices of a Distant Star), or having  a falling out and not seeing each other again (Garden of Words, though both still pine for each other). Drives me fucking nuts and I wish he'd fix that about his stories.

    3. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

OMG, I thought Your Name was gonna end like that. If they wouldn't have turned around and acknowledged each other for the payoff, I would have been so pissed. XD

  7. Funimation started the dubcast of the Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These. Apparently it's a reboot of the 1988 series Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Never saw the original, but the first two episodes has me pretty impressed. If this series is full of huge 5000-10k ship battles using old school formations and tactics I'll def be hooked. Since the original was over 100 eps, I hope I don't get The Legend of Legendary Hero'ed here after season 1. XD-_-;

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Lmao. I was expecting a season 2 of legend of legendary heroes and it never happened. So disappointing even now.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I know wtf. That end of season one was such a cliff hanger. -_-; So much build up and no resolution. I tell everyone that asks me about series to watch to completely avoid that one unless you just want to be let down immensely.

  8. GANTZ:O is on Netflix. I wasn't aware of its existence. Its pretty good, but you'd appreciate it more if you watched the original series. I thought it was a sequel or prequel movie at first and then I realized some of the same characters are in it, but its discombobulated in their relationship with each other. They flip the main character roll to someone else, and make the original main character look like a decent guy when he was just a whiny prick in the original. XD

    1. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Probably the main character being a whiney bitch. XD

    2. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

He's part of the reason but there's more to it than him (in fact I hated most of the characters to begin with, most of them were annoying and none of them really brought anything to the show). Honestly I just didn't feel it was that great of a show, entertaining yes but I feel other shows with similar premises did better jobs then this show at selling me (Mirai Nikki (I forget its English name but I know you've seen it), while not exactly the same premise, is a much better show then this and it plays its own death game (though for a different prize)).

    3. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Yeah Future Diary is superior in every way. I guess I just tend to like death game shows altogether. It's also one of Funi's worst dubs. The Movie is better in a lot of ways even though it's CG. But sadly it's just one mission.

  9. Gizmodo made a list of the top 14 weirdest episodes of Quantum Leap. Its really a mix of its weirdest and best in one list. The Oswald 2-part was def an all time favorite of mine. http://io9.gizmodo.com/the-14-weirdest-quantum-leap-episodes-of-all-time-1785484622

I remember the JFK eps and they were really good. But leaping into the body of a space chimp? XD lmao. I don't remember that ep at all. XD

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

XD What? That was a great ep. LMAO I think he was suppose to be euthanize, but in the end he was saved because his handler fell into a river or something, and he saved her. Chimps can't swim, but since Sam did as a chimp, they wanted to study him more, saving his life. XD

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

rotflmao! XD Now I have to watch this episode on netflix. XD

  10. Got a Galaxy S8+ today. So far I like it a lot. My other phone had too many issues in the end, and it all probably has to do with being an unlocked phone. I know these companies alter the software on their devices to run more smoothly with their networks while at the same time forcing you to buy from them. 15 years ago it wasn't that way. But with how complex the software has become, its pretty easy to fix the system in your favor. When the rep tried to look up my phone for trade in value it has none. XD He was so confused himself.

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Good choice in phone, got mine a little over a month ago and love it (though I'd of rather had a Note).

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I wanted a note at first, but more power paired with less battery was the deciding factor to go against it. I always have to opt with more battery. Maybe it won't matter, but I'm done taking chances on battery life. lol

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I'm still sitting here with my S7 a year later and my battery is lasting pretty much as long as it did when I first got it. I'll give it to samsung, they got decent batteries for these S7s.. those S7 notes that kept exploding however.. ehh. I'm glad they got their crap together seeing as I've heard nothing but great reviews for the S8 and S8+.

  11. Got caught up on a few of the Simuldub's Funimation is running. Basilisk: the Ouka Ninja Scrolls caught my eye since I did enjoy the original. So far the action is pretty good. It takes place 10 years after the first one ended... or so it says until there is a time jump after the 4th episode. Its very different from the first as its more of your standard ninja anime rather than some tragic love story. I'm glad it did the time jump though because I was feeling like it was gonna be another "kids beat adult fodder" type thing. I also started Darling in the Franxx since it's getting so much hype. Its basically Gurren Lagann style animation with a ton of sexual innuendo. Its catering to my craving for a mecha series so far.

  12. Great, now java updates feature an automatic download of Amazon Assist that you have to uncheck the box with. -_-; Thats as annoying as Flash wanting to install McAfee every update.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I hate that double install BS. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't always checked to auto install.

  13. Grimgar Fantasy and Ash, the only anime I've ever watched that punched you in the feels 4 episodes in.

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Never even heard of it (another one that slipped by me), just got done reading a summary of it on Wikipedia. It actually sounds a lot like Log Horizon just in a different world and different circumstances (sounds like the main character is trapped in the world by himself with all the NPCs). I'll have to see if I can find fansubs for it as well, definitely sounds like a show I'd like.

The memory thing is actually a major part of the story later on in Season 2 when the players actually start realizing they're loosing their memories every time they die. At first its nothing major (insignificant stuff like names of places they used to visit and what not) but as they continue to die more and more memories disappear and they start turning into mindless Thralls (which is covered in the season 2 during one of the story arcs) who can think of nothing more then dieing in combat to get back home.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I'm almost done with Overlord. Meh. It's interesting enough to finish, but the main character and all his NPCs are so OP there hasn't been any real fights or sense of danger through out the whole thing.

    3. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

I finished it last night. If there was a season 2, I'd watch it. After doing a bit of research on the light novel, the story sounds pretty good. The pace of the light novel is going to cause issues as its not even finished yet and its been going since 2012. This first season was just a really long introduction to the story. I feel like this anime shouldn't have come out for another 5 years. I also learned that Tokyo Ghoul basically Fullmetal Alchemisted it's manga... which would explain why its so shit IMO.

The Japanese take a totally different approach to making anime than the west does with TV shows or Movies (Minus TWD). It seems the Manga/Light Novel gets hot, and they immediately have to start making anime off of it and pump out episodes until they run out of material. Then they choose whether to make the right decision and wait, or say  "fuck this original content" and fuck it up more often than not. Also from what I understand, new season are solely based off DVD sales rather than TV raitings and advertisement revenue like here. I get most of it, but I dont get the jumping the gun so fast on these manga's. Its irritating to wait years for another season via Attack on Titan.

  14. Hands down, tonight's episode of GoT was their crowning achievement. I can't see the last 3 eps topping it. Simply incredible.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

With only a few episodes left I was expecting a large majority of characters to die just so the show wouldn't have to finish up a bunch of plot lines. lol. I figured it was going to be lazy writing with this season only being 5 episodes. I imagine a board room meeting.. Producer: "We have 5 episodes left with about 300 plot lines going on.. whats the best way to resolve this massive story?" Other guy: "Kill 90% of the characters, no plot lines to resolve if they're dead." Other Other guy: "Instead of killing everyone, lets bring in Ghost with no reason as to how he survived or where hes been for the last 4 seasons.. then everyone will focus on that wolf and ignore the other 8 seasons of unresolved plot lines." XD

All those NPCs lost in that battle. XD I bet she left multiple groups of sully and dothraki guarding different locations along their path. She conquered alot of kingdoms on her way to the north. She'll probably pull those troops in for the final battle against Cersei. If not, then they're pretty screwed. That was a horrible strategy with the dothraki.. don't lead with a dragon breath attack or anything.

That ultra dark was dumb. When my tv is outputting lines of grey/black like dark lens flares because its so damn dark nothing can be seen it really made the quality look piss poor. Considering GOT budget is massive they could have done that alot better, especially since they had so many epic battles in pure day light in previous episodes.

Jorah would have given his life for her on so many occasions.. at least he died doing what he swore to do.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Its 6 episodes though 😛 The next ep is 78 min, and the last 2 eps will be 79 min. The Battle for Winterfel is the seasons longest ep at 82 min.

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Lol. At least they have 3 more eps to finish up. I hope we get to see Cersei killed off.

  15. Hasbro put up 15 episodes of GI Joe on their YT channel for the quarantine. I was a bit hesitant to watch it again after 3 decades or so. After all I remember trying to watch HE-MAN on Netflix and it was fucking horrible. XD But, Surprisingly its held up pretty well over all these years. Yeah its still super cheese, but I was surprised to see how many eps were linked together in a larger story arc. Pretty ahead of its time for American animation. The best thing I've seen so far is Snake Eyes getting trapped in a radioactive cave, wonder around in the freezing arctic with his body glowing radiation, and get rescued by some blind nomad which magically cured his radioactive poisoning with no explanation. XD

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

XDXDXD Thats amazing. XD I tried watching He-Man at one point too.. everyone looks like they were on steroids. XD Every single dude had muscles rippling everywhere but theres no gym episode. XD Watch the old Conan animated series if you can find it. I tried watching some of that not too long ago and it was the same thing.. Almost every single dude is super buff unless they are some kind of comic relief character or the design didn't really fit the super buff style. Even some random merchant selling goods had a 12 pack abs visible through his skin tight clothing. Dude is dressed all poor and living in squalor but he obviously still has the time to lift a crap ton of weights every single day. XD I can't remember if GI Joe was all super buff tho.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

It wasn't even about the buff dudes. The ep I watched was about an "evil comet" that just was in the sky the whole ep, they did a bunch of random stuff that didnt make sense and the the comet went away or turned into a good comet in the process. XD

  16. Haven't been on much, posting much, replying much lately. Lots of things going on in my life. About 12 years or so ago I moved out for the first time with a friend. I wasn't making any more than $11 an hour but I just wanted to live the bachelor life. Needless to say, I didn't make enough to support my lifestyle. I swiped the credit card for groceries, dates, emergencies, etc all to make rent/power. I got myself into about $30k in credit card debt. Eventually I had to move back in with my parents. I spent the last decade paying all my mistakes off and saving up thanks to my old company shutting my store down and me getting into a better company that pays significantly better.

I signed a lease today on my own place. This will be my first time I'm truly living on my own. I kinda sorta did the first go since my roommate was never home... but its all me this time. found a nice little 1br apt and will be moving in over the next several days. I shouldn't miss too much as I have AT&T Fiber Optic internet being installed the day of move in. 1000mbps FTW! I'm really pumped about it. Hopefully soon I'll be back to posting nonsensical YT videos on various topics. lol

  17. Holy cow there seems to be a subscription crate for everything now. AC Filters, Clothes, Bras, Candy, etc. XD I actually just signed up for Umai Crate. It seems to be the most unique and best value. Its just a box full of different Japanese instant ramens. I'll report if its any better than the cheap shitty ramen you can get at the grocery store. For $25 a month, the box seems to be full of 7-9 bags/boxes/cups of various types. If I'm not impressed with the first box, I'll cancel it and feel like it was worth trying something interesting. I watched a few youtube unboxings and taste tests and it seems to be pretty well received, even in the comments on their facebook posts. I recently had authentic ramen at a local hole in the wall and it was amazing. I always thought ramen was just that shitty Nissin stuff. XD Some of the videos I watched, its def a little more complex than just pouring hot water into noodles and a tiny spice packet. Some of them have multiple packets to enter in before and after water is added. And apparently there are suggested fresh add ons you can buy separately at the grocery store. Things you obviously can't dehydrate like hard boiled eggs.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Everything is rng now, even our food. Lol. Definitely let me know how that ramen turns out. I've had a few slightly fancy ones with multiple packets. It had a packet of freeze dried veggies, a spice packet and a broth packet. It wasn't that impressive tho. My favorite ramen is still the nong shim brand kimichi ramen. It has a nice spiciness to it that nothing else really matches in terms of flavor and its only $1.20 per bowl at the store. For some reason it's sold in the international section instead of with all the other ramen.

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

It was either this one or the Candy Club. I don't want to feel obligated to destroy 3 tubs of candy a month. It just seems so unhealthy. At least Ramen lasts a good while before having to be used. XD

    3. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

Before you know it you'll have a stock pile of ramen that'll turn into christmas presents. XD Everyone will remember it as the christmas you gave ramen to everyone. XD

  18. Holy cow, I guess I'll be watching a crap ton of series this upcoming season. Funi is loaded on dubs. I'm a little irked that the new Fate series will be sub only out of everything tho. Fire Force and Dr. Stone are my most anticipated. Cop Craft and Astra Lost in Space look interesting... I see 2 new isekai series that could go either way. Master of Ragnarok set the bar super low, and Sheild Hero set it ultra high for the genre.

  19. I caught up on Overlord's season 2 simuldub. So far it's entertaining but all over the place. There isn't as much action so far which is disappointing. All these characters are so OP, but that was what was great about season 1. Especially since Ainz vs. Shalltear was an amazing finale with two ultra OP characters going at it like a chess game. However I figure everything happening now is leading up to something bigger. They're spending more time world building in season 2 in which they did very little of in season 1. Plus season 3 was ordered. People can say what they want about Funi, but I bet there are some series out there that would have never been renewed past it's first season 6-8 years ago. Props to netflix too even though their series are hit and miss. I finished A.I.C.O. Incarnation last night, while it didn't blow me away, I enjoyed it.. same goes for ID-0. It's come a long way from Toonami, spending days downloading stuff off Limewire and torrents, or staying up til 4am in hopes Sci-Fi played Akira or Vampire Hunter D

    1. Strider Hiryu

      Strider Hiryu

Overlord was pretty much saved by the fans and Funi (was extremely happy to see it was green lit for a 3rd season). Season 2 has been hit or miss (still haven't watched ep 13 yet (see CR just put it up), I'll watch it Friday night when I continue watching Steins;Gate) but considering what they're building toward shit will get interesting next season (yea, I read ahead on the wiki for it so I already know whats going to happen). Plus seeing Sebas kick some serious ass has been a high point for me this season (and seeing Cocytus wipe the floor with those lizard people was fucking awesome). I still miss the action of season 1 but this has been a fun trip so far plus it's nice to see them do some character building, I felt last season didn't really introduce the character well enough (well the human ones, though I do wish they'd go into who Victim is a little more then they have. Based on what the wiki says he's the most powerful NPC in Nazerick with the exception of one that has yet to be introduced).

I haven't given anything on Netflix the time of day considering most of what they're producing just doesn't interest me. I give them props for giving original anime a shot but they all pretty much follow the same formula. Shit I still download shit thought I will admit I do a lot less then I did 3 years ago, Crunchyroll has spoiled me too much with all they're getting recently (I'm like a kid in a candy store with all the shit they're getting licenses for).

    2. DeathscytheX

      DeathscytheX

Kuromukuro was the best thing they've come out with so far IMO. The rest is very mediocre besides AJIN maybe.

  20. I completed my 6th world completion on Guild Wars 2. It will probably be my last. Mounts definitely made this one much easier to complete, but it still wasn't much fun. My first two runs were done the old school way with WvW map requirements. My third, forth, and fifth were done post HoT with gliding, and elite specs providing me with more mobility and power. This last one took less than half the time, but the hearts are so tedious, it's too much. The Beetle is cool for zipping around the map and unfogging everything. You may pick up a few WP and POI along the way, but if you were to move from heart to heart, half the time you'd just get your boost meter full and you'd be at your destination already. The raptor is still the best for these scenarios. The best thing the Beetle is for is getting to an event fast before it completes. Also the skimmer made maps dominated by lakes and ocean so much faster. With 10 gifts of Exploration, I doubt I'll ever grind out the Gift of Mastery track 10 times to go with it. I kind of wish I would have bought more than I did before that change occurred.

    1. Sledgstone

      Sledgstone

I hear you about that gift of battle. I should have bought 10 of those damn things when I could have. Meanwhile I have that mastery track set to be always repeating and whenever I see a WvW daily that is "spend currency" I buy some crappy food, get the potion for the reward track and dump it into it. I'm halfway to another gift of battle after a year and I haven't played wvw in over a year. lol.

That beetle is great at long distances but starting with no endurance and the slow build up time its a bit too tedious for me. That and I clip on every bit of ground somehow and stop all my momentum. -_-; I would say it'd be great for the silverwastes but I doubt it will all the little ground outcroppings that it would clip on if a jump wasn't timed perfectly. I bet that beetle would shine on maps like cursed shore where there are no hearts.

I had all of Orr done before the beetle. Its probably the most depressing part of WC because it's so dreary. I knocked it out first this time. 😂 You're probably right though.

  21. I don't drink much soda anymore unless I'm at the theater or some other public event. But every time I see something new I gotta try it. My grocery store got some new specialty sodas in this week. Some haven't come in yet that I sill want to try. I've already had Cheerwine before which is basically a Dr. Pepper variation clone. They had some Faygo with real sugar, and a Shirley Temple soda that was liquid diabetes. But there was one called Moxie and it was pretty fucking nasty. XD It didn't say what it was, so I assumed it was just some type of cola... which it was with a vile aftertaste that can only be described as bitter grapefruit extract with a pinch of dirt. Apparently its an old soft drink made in the late 1800's and it should have stayed there because its nasty AF.

I remember trying a cab of TaB back in the 80s. That was the nastiest soda I ever drank. XD faygo with real sugar sounds good. I used too drink faygo all the time when I was a kid.

Tab is the Good & Plenty of soda. XD I remember they came out with an energy drink about 10 years ago, and it almost made me throw up drinking it.

  22. I don't know how anyone can bare to play open world PvE content with the Ele class... at least its base. I haven't unlocked tempest yet. It has no burst damage, its squishy, and its down state is ass. Highest DPS in the game... but only sustained. I can burst mobs better with every other class. Range attacks are the death of you. Doing the Jade Maw heart on Ember Bay was so frustrating, the lack of CC the class has is astonishing. I have no idea how everyone loves it. I'm sure its amazing in fractals and raids, but for casual play its a nightmare.

Ah, I see. That makes more sense. I can't stand thief or elementalist because the slightest lag will get you killed. I'd rather face tank everything with my necro, warrior, ranger or guardian. :D I have a mesmer but I suck with her unless I'm camping greatsword. XD

Thief is pretty fun when you get the hang of it. I like it way more than ele because you can always escape if you're in serious danger. I just did bitterfrost completion with my ele and it was the most frustrating thing I've ever done in this game. Ele has no mobility for how squishy it is, its nearly impossible to skip mobs that can range attack. I died 3-4 times trying to get to the second POI in that starting cave, and I died about 3 more times trying to skip the mobs to get to the Svanir vista. With my Thief I could have just used Shadow Refuge, or the short bow skill 4 to skip them all easily.... or I could have fought and melted them all with psychical strikes unlike Ele's slow casting attacks. Unless the new elite spec is amazing, I'll never do WC with an Ele. The only thing I'd do with Ele is WvW because its a monster on the back line.

  23. I feel sorry for anyone that wanted to buy a NES classic at retail price. The last of them will be shipped out til the end of the month. Never wanted one myself, but a lot of friends did. This is why emulators will always be a thing.

My younger brother bought one at retail price just 2 days ago. lol. Lucky for him since he's wanted it for months now. I bet these will jump up in price on ebay soon. Nintendo's shitty supply and demand issues really make me want to avoid their products. I feel like if I'm really interested in something from their company they'll somehow screw it up so more scalpers can profit. If they announce a SNES classic next, everyone will assume it'll be the same shitty supply and buy the absolute hell out of them to resell.

They've tripled in price on ebay. I wish I could stumble into. 3 of them and make a quick $1000.

  24. I finally managed to flip something for a massive profit on GW2. Apparently I bought a few Superior Runes of Antitoxin pre HoT an tossed them in my old guild's bank. They were barely worth 60s each when I bought them according to GW2Spidy, and today they are worth 9g each. I'll make 57g when they all sell. At long last a successful flip. XD All the rest of the runes I bought are still worthless.

Good flip! XD When you collect those profits, smile like this...

  25. I finally passed the anime in the AoT manga. This next half of season 3 is probably going to end before they explain everything, where the titans came from, the world outside the walls, and how everything happened. It's interesting, but I feel like it makes the series lose a major component which was the mystery of why anything was happening. The anime is about to get as intense as season 1 was, but after that I can see people getting bored with the next season unless the really fly through this section of explanations. I don't think they will though because the anime has been the manga verbatim.

The manga actually explains all that? Wow.. I need to start reading the manga again.

Yeah, they finally get to Eren's father's basement and everything about the world is revealed through his fathers records. And through that they pretty much spoil who the beast titan is, although I suspect they did that on purpose since they make a big what to do about it before they get there.
