I'll have to check that out. The front 4 USB ports are never going to work again. The case slants at the top and just the weight and pulling of the cords damaged it over time. The PC would just instantly blue screen on boot up, so I had to disconnect them, but I still have 8 slots in the back. I'm good with the 5-6 I use, but if I lose anymore, it will become problematic. I really don't want to upgrade anytime soon. PC advancement has come to a crawl over the past few years and I wouldn't be jumping by a lot if I did.

I lived in an apartment with a friend for 4 years when I was only making like $11.23 an hour and I was in my mid 20's. Budgeting was def not a high priority. I built up a lot of debt because I'd throw groceries on the credit card or a car repair. I quickly found myself in a crap ton of debt across 4 accounts, and had to move back in with my parents after a while. I have like 2 more payments on my student loan, and I'll be down to about $6000 in debt mostly on a single credit card. Oddly enough, it's done wonders for my credit score because I never miss a payment, and my credit is 6-12 years old depending on the card or account it was on. Credit Karma says its in the mid to upper 700s, but when the car dealership ran it, it was 817. I never bothered to check it until I considered a new vehicle, but now it makes more sense why my bank, Visa, Discover, and Mastercard are always offering me these insanely gigantic personal loan opportunities, and why my credit line is freaking huge on my Discover card... like $15k. I could seriously buy another car with it, but not at 18% interest....

That was always my problem with credit cards. Lol. As soon as there is available credit it felt like i had money to spend. I'm still paying off debt and i hate it. If I could go back in time and slap myself i would.
I recommend getting one of these for your usb issues:
    https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-Individual-Switches-included-HB-UMP3/dp/B00TPMEOYM
I had something similar happen. Turns out my usb slots still worked but what failed was the power they were outputting. I'd try to transfer pics from my phone to the pc and it would connect and disconnect constantly and another usb slot wouldn't even recognize it. Same with my external hard drives that are self powered thru the usb connection. I bought this self powered usb hub and as long as i have it plugged into a power outlet every usb port i plug it into works again.

I know wtf. That end of season one was such a cliff hanger. So much build up and no resolution. I tell everyone that asks me about series to watch to completely avoid that one unless you just want to be let down immensely.

Season 2 of Overlord is a lot of setup for whats to come in the next season (Ainz has some pretty big plans according to what I've read). I'm not expecting a lot of action for season 3 or at least the first half but I'm sure we'll be rewarded quite handsomely (if they adapt the chapters in order like they have been). Like I said before things should get quite a bit more interesting going forward.

Coming back to this topic seriously. Ratchet & Clank is a blast. I had a lot of fun playing it, but the final boss fight has your pet peeve where the mechanics are really different, and is much harder than the rest of the super casual game play. You'll have to tell me how it worked out for you. For me I just used the preorder weapon to demolish him. That thing was ultra OP.

Overlord was pretty much saved by the fans and Funi (was extremely happy to see it was green lit for a 3rd season). Season 2 has been hit or miss (still haven't watched ep 13 yet (see CR just put it up), I'll watch it Friday night when I continue watching Steins;Gate) but considering what they're building toward shit will get interesting next season (yea, I read ahead on the wiki for it so I already know whats going to happen). Plus seeing Sebas kick some serious ass has been a high point for me this season (and seeing Cocytus wipe the floor with those lizard people was fucking awesome). I still miss the action of season 1 but this has been a fun trip so far plus it's nice to see them do some character building, I felt last season didn't really introduce the character well enough (well the human ones, though I do wish they'd go into who Victim is a little more then they have. Based on what the wiki says he's the most powerful NPC in Nazerick with the exception of one that has yet to be introduced).
I haven't given anything on Netflix the time of day considering most of what they're producing just doesn't interest me. I give them props for giving original anime a shot but they all pretty much follow the same formula. Shit I still download shit thought I will admit I do a lot less then I did 3 years ago, Crunchyroll has spoiled me too much with all they're getting recently (I'm like a kid in a candy store with all the shit they're getting licenses for).

I just finished the tournament between Universe 6 and 7 last week. That's all they have dubbed on funi. They generally lag behind if CN gets the rights to air it.

Correction, I got up to Goku Black and Goku facing off for the first time. They end in the middle of arcs for some reason and it's really weird. I held off on the first tournament on purpose when I saw it didn't finish it on dub.

Yeah Wal-Mart isn't about to pay a butcher $20 an hour. Nothing beats fresh meat, especially when it comes to beef. Chicken is always prepackaged everywhere you go, but not necessarily frozen. Companies aren't going to take the risk with salmonella, its not worth it with everyone looking to sue you for anything... and honestly I wouldn't trust any business... there is always someone being lazy.

I thought it was pretty much confirmed that BF5 was WWII, could be wrong but I thought I read that somewhere. All I know is a lot of people have been talking about it and a good portion have been complaining wanting it to go back to Modern times.
I would assume if they do go WWII we'll get all the major campaigns as Operations if they stick to using that game mode. I'd seriously love one set during the Battle of the Bulge, fuck I'd be extremely giddy if we got one set on Iwo Jima (god damn that would be punishing and fucking fun). They'd be extremely stupid not to include all of the campaigns because they'd have plenty of content to keep the game alive for longer than two years (and I'd gladly shell money out for them if they decide to go with the Premium pass shit again (doubt it but we'll see), as long as they're done right).
Wal-Mart has pretty much killed most of their competition everywhere they go. If you're not a well know Grocery chain chances are high you'll succumb to the best that is Wal-Mart. Where I live currently you have three choices: Cash Wise (a Minnesota based grocery store owned by Coborn's Inc (where I used to work before I was fired)), Family Fare (didn't even know they existed till they bought out a local chain), and Wal-Mart. It's sad to say but Wal-Mart gets 90% of all business in this town because they're prices are so much lower than the other two (and, based on how things are going, Family Fare will most likely end up shutting down it's other two stores in town because Cash Wise took most of the business they got away from them). I also agree with DX's statement, most grocery chain buyouts end horribly for the company getting bought out.

Well damn at least you already have another job lined up. Shit only loosing a $1.48 is pretty good to go from a manager to a stock thrower, you'd loose a whole hell of a lot more in the stores in my area for that.
Here's to hoping we can start gaming again, I miss our old BF1 antics (just need to find another game we can all play together).

DeathscytheX got a reaction from Sledgstone in Being in the grocery business for over a decade and a half you see a lot of product f
Always make a note of the the ounce count on things that you buy regularly when its measured as such. Just about everything has gotten smaller over the past 5 years. Juice, Cereal, and frozen products most notably. They've gotten exceptionally clever in hiding downsized product. Every time there is a complete package/bottle redesign I make sure to look at the old version and compare it to what came in. For example, if you ever see those Tai-pei single serve fried rice meals in your frozen food section, they use to be shaped like the take out boxes you get from Chinese restaurants. Now they are in an oblong oval cup with a lid. They actually look bigger and feel bigger in the hand, but they went from 14oz to 10oz. You can Google image search Tai-Pei right now and see both boxes since this change just took place 3-4 months ago. Seeing as I deal with these products every day, I notice it, but if I didn't work in a grocery store I probably never would. Cereal is by far the worst offender of them all. Most of the cereal boxes these days are a joke. They might hold 3-4 bowls max. I remember as a kid eating 3-4 bowls of coco puffs in one sitting and the box lasting a whole week at least. Really old school cerreals like Cracklin' Oats are in super tiny boxes that may have 2 servings and they still cost $4-5... probably because it still has real ingredients in it. Even Malt-O-Meal knock off bags are way smaller than back in the day. About the only product you can rely on to stay the same size is cheese. People are willing to pay higher prices for the same amount regardless. Plus there is a crazy amount of options and competition. We've gone from a world dominated by store brand and Kraft, to a Renaissance of higher tier offerings like Cracker Barrel, Cabot, Borden, Sargento, Laughing Cow, Babybel, etc. The one trend that has died over the years and I hope it never comes back is the diet flavor of the year. A long time ago I remember stupid diets getting hot and we'd get all this garbage product that no one would buy, and it would all be discontinued when the popularity died off. South Beach Diet had a ton of frozen dinners, and other things. Atkins had frozen dinners, juices, yogurts, cheeses, I mean the store was loaded with that crap. The week he died, it all got discontinued and marked down for close out.

I'm not sure. I mean I can adjust the settings manually. I can turn the head lights off for sure, but I'll have to check on the LED day lights. I think those might stay on regardless.   The CVT is really nice. I've read the technology had a rough start, at least for some american car makers. Honda's is one of the best. I've read its cheaper to maintain in case something goes wrong because its belts and pulleys rather than a giant tube of gears you have to completely disassemble just to see what's wrong.

I got the Civic. I was willing to pay a lot more for it than the VW. I hate car buying with a passion, but it seems a lot of dealerships have toned down their aggressiveness these days. My sales person was a young black lady that was really nice. It was a bit different from the usual white lanky guy with a cheesy grin that I'm use to getting. Maybe they take this approach now so you'd feel bad for beating up the sales rep with hardball. She was 21, and I knew more about the technical details of the car than she did. After she went over the obvious features, I started overwhelming her with questions about the CVT transmission and other mechanical aspects of the car.   I was a bit irritated at first because their webiste along with cargurus had the car listed at $21,870, but when I got to the dealership it was more like $23,500 with stupid dent protection and stuff. I cut to the chase and said I didn't need any of it. I don't plan on reselling this car for at least a decade if ever. It's going to get dents. I was able to talk them down to $20,000 OTD. I went in with the mindset to get it for $19,500 at maximum, but I really wanted this car and they beat my credit union's APR so I financed with them as well so they'll get their $23-24k after interest in the end. It was time to pull the trigger because I know the fed is going to raise interest rates soon, especially with the stock market finally slipping in anticipation.   This car drives like a dream. Its super responsive and has a lot of get up and go. Its very quiet on the inside. The only drawback is that the sound system is pretty shit. No bass... it's the first car I've had with the base model sound system. It's not that big of a deal because I listen to talk radio most of the time anyways. I'm not use to all these fancy features like rear back up cam, that I'll never use because I'm too old school and I'll still twist my neck and look back. I realize how bad my Mustang's suspension got when I drove over the little speed grooves on my way home and didn't even feel them in my new car. I've also driven about 30 miles and the gas meter hasn't budged.   As for my Mustang. I'll donate it to a local charity that gives them to disabled vets. They'll take it and fix it up and give it to someone that is in need that served our country. I feel like that is a good cause to put it towards.

No not yet. Hopefully this Wednesday. Its a 30 min drive on the interstate and my current car isn't interstate worthy anymore. My family is my ride across the bay, but they've had the flu all week, and I'm trying not to get it myself. Its been a real bad epidemic in this city.

Hopefully I'll be able to get the Golf Wednesday if any are still there. I got preapproved for a loan at 1.99% APR for 60 months. The only problem is the Credit Union i chose for this rate is living in the stone age and doesn't do any type of electronic transmissions so I'm going to have to go back and forth with the bill of sale and then I'll have to drive up there to make payments... but no one else can touch 1.99% unless its like 34 months. Otherwise its like 2.5%. It'll be worth the inconvenience since its by my house and across the street from my job.

They were pretty similar cars when you got yours, Civic has really stepped up its game, while the Corolla has fallen behind. Its pretty impressive how much Honda has packed into this car. Someone I went to school with got one recently and noted he opted for the Civic over the Accord because it had more to offer. Its actually more luxurious than the Golf, but the Golf has more driving performance. I've never been too big on luxury, but whatever I can get the best deal on between the two is what I'll go with. Right now there is a pretty decent deal on a Golf, but I have to wait for my tax return to come so I can get a good down payment.

Yeah that's a crazy deal. You only get a 90 day 5000 mile warranty for a used car around here. You're pretty much up shit creek if something goes wrong after that, which pretty much did on my Mustang. When it comes to American cars, it seems they're all built to break down after 70k miles, unless its a truck, those things last forever but they also cost $45-80k. My dad has a F150 with like 300k miles on it and its still going strong. Hes just had to replace some hoses and belts that dry rotted from being so old and worn. I've never been a truck fan, I like to be low to the ground and nimble. While trucks last a long time, the maintenance is still more expensive. Tires are astronomically more expensive and you still need to replace them with the same frequency. Gas mileage is subpar and to fill up is double or triple depending on your tank.
