Once I get to where I have a 2nd support unit slot I put Siege in it, I E1'ed her. Since shes 6 star it won't let me put her in the first slot. But I did E1 Silence if you want to check out her healer drone. I'm a little demoralized right now because I made it to 382 enemies on Annihilation. I wasn't paying attention and my healer went down on the bottom path and she couldn't come back in time to save it from being overwhelmed. X_X. 

Edit: the drone is amazing. Silence is by far my favorite heal unit. It costs 5 DP but doesn't count towards the unit limit. It heals in a 8 tile area for 10 seconds anywhere its placed. But it must be placed in the ground units area. It can't go on elevated areas.

Oh I have an AL regime. I knock out my easy daily missions and combat assignments while I eat breakfast, I'll monitor my commissions through out the day. I'll knock out my 3 hard clears on lunch break since I don't eat as my shift is to where I eat breakfast before and lunch when I get off. Then I'll clear a world or two when I'm off. I probably still got more than a million left of the 2mil on Saint Louis. It feels like its going a hell of a lot slower than the 1 million xp. But thats all I have left for her. I finally got Kaga from 3-4 today, just need Akagi. w00t. These rate ups love me, I did a 10 pull today and got 2 more  Gloucester's I have everything for her full limit break now. I gotta save my Bulin's for Ayanami since I guess she doesn't even drop after you get her from the collection.

Pramanix is super nice, but Orchid isn't to be underestimated. I've had to swap back to her just for lower 10 cost for certain missions since I have her potential maxed. I'm starting to notice how much more synergy matters, and not so much character level at points... at least for the dailies. Resource Search is fucking nightmare to 3 star. I think that's the allure of this game is to just 3 star the daily's so you can auto cruise them after. I'm sitting here with 40-50s and enemy 30s are getting to my base. at least 1. But I finally made it to SK-3 which gives out those sweet carbon bricks I've desperately needed to further upgrade my base. I'm about to dump a lot of my excess sanity into it now. I've done swapped my squad around so much it doesn't resemble that anymore. I discovered the part of the store you can use all the accumulated free currency to buy stuff. Holy shit there is so much different random currency in this game I don't get half of it. But I was able to pick up a batch of head hunting licenses  and got Nightingale and Shining. (I guess my rate up luck is good on both games. 😛 I didn't get Seige though which is who I really want) I'll level them up later when the LMD daily comes back around. I highly recommend Tactone's YT channel for a lot of good information. He's a super hype whale, but damn he's pointed out a lot of good stuff. Like his recruitment guide. That link is from one of his videos, and there are certain tag combos you can pick to get guaranteed operators. I set Silence as my support unit if you want to try her out. Although I haven't promoted her yet to get her healing drone. I've just realized I've been missing out on free headhunt tickets because of the pinboard missions. I didn't use a practice session to advance it and now I'm raking them in from backlogged progress.

Yostar, Why you do this?!?! Ark has an event too for a free Amiya skin. Seems pretty easy to get though, I was grinding dailies and got half of it done already. Don't miss out on it! I need more units with slow. I'm getting wrecked half way through chapter 2 because elite units hit hard af and are totaly HP sponges, AND the map designs doesn't allow for the best healer placements. I don't mind failures right now since I'm like 600 over the limit in sanity, but I'd imagine failures are brutal when I'll eventually get down to normal limits. The sanity refund system is nice though. I'm at 92/92 without all the bonus sanity I have, so thats really only like 7-8 missions I could do without it.

If you can get Scavenger, shes a must since she instantly refunds her deployment points and she only costs 9 to begin with I believe. I'm to the point I need to promote my units but I don't have the materials to do so as well. The daily section for that is a bit more intensive. One map I didn't have the ability to place a healer on one side so Matterhorn and Hoshiguma had to tough it out. I have a DPS that can heal herself when her ability procs so that was the stop gap. otherwise you have to be a bit more creative I guess. For someone that likes real strategy, this game is top notch. The more I play it, the more impressed I am with it. It seems extremely fair for F2P. I've yet to get anything new from recruiting, but I've been able to get a few of my units potential to level 4 or higher from the dupes. Getting free originate prime from first time clears has allowed me to head hunt some great units however. I bought the $4 monthly pack to get sanity potions every day which add 100 on top of my extra. but that's all I've spent. They have free packs in the store at certain commander levels and premium packs that cost like 1-3 OP which are gained from 1st time mission clears easily. If they get some nice skins for my girls Melantha and Savage, I might slip them some more money if I don't have any OP. Oh there is a banner for Matterhorn that went up today. He's super good of you can afford to headhunt on that one. Hoshiguma is a fucking monster, but she costs 19 deploy points (#6starlife). I only use her as my emergency stop gap if my line of defense goes down or I have the extreme luxury to afford placing her. Shes more of a offensive guard while Matterhorn is just an iron curtain. I never did ask who you picked for your 5 star from the preregister bonus. I went with Silence, but seeing your Secretary I'll assume you chose Pramanix who I was SUPER fortunate to get off a head hunt. I need to level her since it looks like she can debuff these elites that are destroying me. My LMD is exhausted from leveling other units atm.

I can see why this lunar new year event on AL is everyone's favorite. Crazy free gems. This is the first time I've pummeled my ship girls morale though. I've relentlessly sortied them on the special mission. Thankfully the 2nd floor of the dorm gets them back up fast. Gloucester's skin is fucking GORGEOUS!!! OMG! I absolutely had to have it when I got her! I'll be picking up Illustrious' as well before its over with tho. 😏 ugh, there are so many good ones! Laffey's is super adorable, I'm sure you have it 😛. I noticed a few PR ships have skins this go around. I'm almost done with Saint Louis (holy cow what a grind!) but I guess she has none. I scored a SR moewfficer from the monopoly game too, but it turned out to be an Ironblood one. I guess it will come in handy when I have a full fleet of them. Dabbling in 2 mobile games. My perception has changed a little. Yeah they make money off microtransactions... but you can play these casually without spending a dime, and still get some of the stuff you want through developer generosity.. at least when it comes to Yostar. Pretty sad when Triple A console games can't even follow suit and just try to be as ruthlessly shitty as possible with micros. Overwatch is probably the only loot box game I'll ever consider to be somewhat fair. Oddly enough though, out of all franchises, Modern Warfare has been pretty decent about it this year.

Jesus, Hard mode whipped my ass. I guess thats the kinda bosses I'll be looking forward too when I get into the later worlds. Just constant and endless barrages. I don't get what makes Portland such a beast for me right now, but basically I've finagled a squad to where she's the only vanguard the lives in the end... mostly because Illustrious is clutch. Maybe I can get Unicorn to 90 soon to add some more healing, but I dunno if I want to run 3 carriers because Enty is the main reason the Boss goes down, while Illustrious provides the shielding. Probably should have spent more time leveling Eugen. 

As for Ark, I blew all my prereg currency on the banner events. I got a 6 star guard, 5 star healer, vanguard, 2 casters. and a DPS. tons of 4 stars and 3 stars. I got that 1 star Lancet healer that ignores deployment rules. It can only be leveled to 30 with no promotion otherwise it would be OP AF, but I guess the trade off is you wont beable to take it past midway. I'll go back to Silence after that. I run 2 vanguards, 2 healers, 2 guards, 1 AoE caster, 1 sniper, and the rest is a toss up if I start failing. i like 2 DPS to use as assassins basically. I'll pop them, let them take out stronger units and recall them. I made a 2nd squad for the air attack daily, its just all ranged and healers. I dunno how far you are, but snipers and AoE is an absolute must eventually. You can get away with 1 healer for a bit. I just finished chapter 1 last night. My level is high mainly because I was grinding the supply daily on auto for level up tickets for my units. Here is my core squad anyways:

Im about to dump some money into AL for some skins That opening cinematic spoke to my soul.... plus that Belfast skin I've been wanting is an instapurchase. I'm glad this event came up though because I've been grinding for commander level 60 for the last few days as I'm stuck and cant progress in the main missions until I do. I did a 10 pull and got Dido, Gloucester, and Hasley Powell. I just need Biloxi, but I won't blow all my cubes like last time until the end if I still don't have her... AND Takao is in the medal exchange. Its like the game knows what I want.

I blame you. 😛 I pre-reged for Arknights after it launched and it still gave me the rewards. I do like the concept though. I also like how you can't just whale it up and roll into a mission with all 6 stars. That deployment cost will snowball you into failure every time. It seems like a lot to take in. I still don't grasp everything in the base, the daily combat is interesting. I kinda like that you have to 3 star stuff to auto it... which is also interesting as it seems to just copy your strategy and use it to win every time. It's def not as casual as AL, but AL is still my favorite.

All I can say is goddamn, Belfast is a monster. Despite changing only a few things around in my 2 main fleets she already in the 90s in rank, passing everyone except Enty and Portland. Shes MVP every single time. Which btw Portland Retrofit... wtf? Shes about to pass Enty hogging all the MVP glory in Fleet 1.  Fleet 1 is Eagle Union and Fleet 2 is Royal. Illustrious is clutch with the shielding as if Bel's smoke screen wasn't powerful enough. I'm missing a lot of Sakura and Iron Blood still as far as elites and SRs go. I got Atago but no Takao... which I'm tempted to buy that super adorable skin for her they just put up. I just need 1 more star for Z23 and Laffey to get Ayanami. The SR Bulin thing is killing me right now. I just spent medals to get one, I guess I need to clear more stages but its getting to the point where I'm not powering through as easily. I made it to 8-1 yesterday, but I'm spending my oil on dailies and Hard missions this week since 3X Core started today. Plus I run 3-4 a couple times a day hoping that Kaga or Akagi will drop eventually. I need to Max Yuki and probably Atago since the challenges have been the same so far for their individual missions. 

Also, those weekly maintenance and random user benchmark rewards are pretty clutch. I guess its just my luck. I needed oil badly last week and they topped me off. And then the skill books from the user count was something I needed reaaal bad because I was about to run out. I'll pretty much feed them that $7.99 every 30 days for that trade package too so long as they keep my interest. I'm a t3 carrier part and a bulin away from Saratoga's retrofit (uuugh I want her Pop Idol skin!!) and I'll probably work on Hammann and Warspite or Sandy next.

I dunno if its my lack of ship diversity right now, but damn they can be real douches on Hard mode. Like the fleet requirements deny all my synergy. They make sure to keep Indy and Portland apart. Poor Atago had to take a beating for 6-3 because she was locked in at level 80 until I could limit break her again, and her gear isn't really the best right now.

I did. I already stripped a few other ships of their better gear, and making her hit the books while I commission her up to par. I got Noshiro today off my daily builds so I have everything from the event. I was saving my currency in case she didnt drop on the last day but now I was able to buy the last SR catmander and fill my oil reserves after being stuck in the 900-1000s the last few days. I'll buy everything else before its over with.

Once the event is over I'll probably just build one a day and let it sit until the end of the week. i've seen this strategy used on these YT pages of people doing big pulls during event. One guy gets Sandy relentlessly, its pretty funny. I feel pretty lucky to have gotten 3 in one 10 pull though. Ryuuhou is who I reaaaaally wanted because that Swirling Cherry Blossoms ability sounds useful af to have as much HP as possible for bosses fleets.

Oh yeah I do a 3 star full clear once a day on the event missions. With my lowly fleet level I've barely scraped by the first go through. Fleet 1 is way more powerful than Fleet 2 because of gear. I think Helena is my unsung hero for Fleet 2 with her damage buff ability. I see what you're talking about with fighting without ammo. I was kinda iffy on it since when I looked one time it said I'd do 50% less damage. I kinda run around the board and try to save the small fleets for last and it tends to work out, especially since there are no ambushes or airstrikes on the events. Getting that defeat all enemies star is whats rekting my oil supply. I'll def tone down my playing once the even is over and save up cubes, oil, and coin for the next one.

I bought that 2019 gem pack with the free skin, and rollled Suruga's new year skin which is quite nice, and hilarious when her chibi icon falls out of the cart. I had to expand my dock as well which is why I did it. It'll be a while before I get some of these elites to 70, and I'll hold on to at least 2 of each in case I don't have the bulin to break them. Enty is my most dropped SR as you said so I had no issue maxing her yesterday. I've retired enough dupes to get 80 medals, and as tempted as I am to get Warspite, unless I can get 80 more in 5 days, I'll let it ride because I know if I do that. My ultimate Ship Waifu will be up next when I don't have the funds.

I think what demoralized me was I waited over an hour for a hard mode striking tree. Normally the boss only queues weren't that long. Either way the Healer left as soon as we got in the instance after just popping in the queue. Of course we tried a few times and weren't successful, we waited another 30 min to see if a healer would join in, and then people started leaving to no avail. It was pretty disheartening. An hour and a half I could have played a lot of something else rather than waiting.

Uuuugh I want Ayanami's new year skin too... but I went with Prinz when I had the gems since I don't have Ayanami yet... but if I get her before its over, I might slide them some cash. I'm kinda sad Indy doesn't have an Oath skin, she's gonna be after Enterprise whose currently sitting at 98 affinity. I've totally picked the martial bliss buff every day. I read being secretary only gets them to 90, so I been cycling them out. and putting them in the dorm after 90. After those two Yukikaze is next. I guess I have a thing wanting to oath all the tsundere shipgirls and watch them change their tune when they get to crush tier. A Belfast drop will immediately put all of that on hold though. 😏

I should get all the ships from this event. I've totally destroyed my cube count building 10 every morning. I got Suruga, Kasumi, and Kinu on the first batch. Ryuuhou dropped for me this morning which got me pumped after two days of nothing. I just need Noshiro and 18 more phases of the green money to get Hibiki. I shouldn't say I didn't get nothing the past 2 days because I did get Sandy, and a bunch of elites good for limit breaks later. I'm on the verge of maxing Indy. Should I be building 10 a day? Absolutely not, but tryin' to get Belfast dammit!

Before all of this I couldn't even take oil from my canteen because I had so much... but with the event going on, I'm totally struggling with oil. Mostly because I'm trying to do too much at once. I finally got to level 40 so I unlocked catmanders, research projects, I've spend 2-3k in oil a day on the big 12000xp commish since I'm getting so many girls and my 3rd fleet has unlocked. I already have Prinz and Suruga in the 50s from that alone. Plus I do all the daily missions I can, sub missions, hard missions, clear a normal mission or two, and run all the event missions to max currency while working on the new chapter. I cant do event hard yet because only Enty and Javelin are in the 70s and it wont let me attempt it without an average of level 70s I guess. Although the last boss i fought I barely beat on B-3, she destroyed my fleet 2. That was my first defeat. With Indy and Portland paired and Javelin's evade, Fleet 1 pulled through. Ambercrombie's artillery volley procing at the right time helped as well. My fleets are def not oil efficient though. I've upgraded my canteen and merch to the max I can until I reach 50.  I've just been sitting here listening to youtube videos and playing on an off all day since I got 2 days off in a row next week. I probably should be more productive tomorrow.

Oh and then when I put Yuki as Secretary it unlocked a secret new missions which was neat. The only one I knew about was head patting the munitions girl 30 times in a row... now I'm curious what other secrets there are to find.

I couldn't do more than one. Especially since this is the first one I've played that's not some basic game. I've unlocked more stuff in the lab. With all the shipfus I'm getting I wish I could make like 10 squads. I see my first event just popped. I wont count the Christmas one since it didn't seem to have its own little area like this one does. TBH I have no idea wtf is happening. I read subs are kinda new. I got my first and I run those missions a few times a day when they pop. I'm wading my way through my 3 daily hard mode tries, and the memories thing. I'm to the point where fleet two can handle their own. I have Saratoga pretty loaded out to anchor that crew. I moved Repulse to Fleet two for not but she'll be replaced by Hood as soon as she comes off the next commission.

I got my Prinz Eugen, San Diego, and got Suruga from the event build orders. I kinda wish Belfast wasn't my best girl now because I probably would have gotten her already, damn you RNGesus. I got the rest of the starter squad as well so I'll commish Laffey and Z23 up to par. Although its apparently its marginal, I picked the least powerful of the 3... but Javelin is too much of a cutie patootie with the purple hair. I Oathed her today and I see what you're saying like WTF why didn't Laffey get an Oath skin until now? (which btw I adore now that I've seen it) I do like Laffey in the anime because she doesn't give a fuck half the time. I really like her Snow Rabbit skin too. I've totally have had self control so far but the minute that Iridescent Rosa skin comes back for Belfast its an instant purchase whether I have her or not yet. Ugh, why doesn't Yostar want my money now!!! Its literally my favorite skin in the whole game 😏  Prinz's Profusion of Flowers is a near second, and Ayanami's Pulse of the New Year is too cute, but I don't have her yet. This is why I can't play more than one mobile game. Eventually I'll break down and buy a ton of gems. They deserve it really with how much enjoyment I get from this game. Plus I've been able to buy stuff without paying a dime from just full clears of mission chapters. Its honestly one of the more generous cash shop games out there... like even for a full blown PC MMO game. I've at least gotten a good 1000+ gems from just playing the damn game. I've used those to expand my dock and depot, along with expand the classroom and dorm slots for free. Oh and I also got Ooshio's super sexy Christmas skin for free for some reason as well. It was featured on one of the main parts of the Christmas festival and kinda wanted it a lot but wouldn't buy it for a rare level ship. It may have been a tiny grind for free gems, but damn at least they tell you want you have to do to get them. They could just give me my Belfast and rake in cash as I buy everything for her (I seriously will, I absolutely adore her), but either way I'll throw them a bone. Helena's New Year skin is super cute too, I'll buy something for this event before its over just to show them some love for not being total P2W dick bags.

I guess I need to get back into FFXIV and play this for Queues like you do. I forgot where i was, but there was a main story dungeon that had a damn near hour wait and I kinda put it aside ever since. At the time I was frustrated with time and just kind gave up on it as much as I loved the game. With as many players as FFXIV has I feel like they can tweak the queue times. Yeah there are more DPS players by far, but holy shit you require way more than healers and tanks in some instances. surely you can find them faster for us. Like give Healers and Tanks a bigger buff than DPS for doing a big carry half the time in these things. I'd do anything for a less than 15m queue time.
