  1. I beat the campaign since the servers weren't working at the 9pm digital launch. Its your standard fair 6 hour campaign. If Call of Duty wasn't the title game, I'd say it was a respectable effort. But this was COD trying to be way too serious. It wasn't bad by any mean, but it lacked that umpf, over the top signature holy shit moments that MW1-3 had. By next year I'd only be able to point out one memorable moment outside of the traditional being in a crashing chopper spot. The characters and visuals were amazing. The story was too much for only 6 hours. I wish they'd for once actually make a 20 hour campaign. The last mission was severely anti-climatic. They say this was a soft reboot, but in actuality it was a full prequel. As for the mutliplayer. There is a ton to grind for. Camo's attachments, blue prints for different weapon skins, challenges for decals and player cards. I'll never get them all, but its cool for hard core grinders. I'm hit or miss with my matches. Sometimes I get destroyed and sometimes I do well. But its mostly because I'm supremely rusty, and not some BS lag, cheaters, or terrible guns. I do love me some AUG though.
  2. After beating this game today and learning it was a kickstarter/indigogo type release here are my final thoughts. You'd think this was made by a big triple A company. This game was polished. It suffered from a few minor issues, but overall it was a seamless enjoyable experience. The voice acting was excellent, and while the cut scenes and conversations were mostly old skool still pics with limited motion, It was still done in a superb way to where you're impacted by the emotion of it. The amount of characters in the game was apparently based on how much money it raised. I think they hit a nice limit because although there were many. There were some I never used. And thats even when the story took half my party away temporarily. I had my favorites of each attack type I stuck with, and only swapped out between them as needed. My only gripe is I would have liked to see a little more platforming. For the most part it was pretty basic and the game waited almost til the end to where you can fully upgrade your offense, defense, and have the full set of areal moves. I guess this may have been because there was a planned game+ but that funding goal wasn't reached. They basically blew their wad on the last map when it came to stringing moves together to traverse the area. The joystick was a little wonky with the directions at times as it would make you go up instead of diagonal. The best remedy to this was using the D pad and pressing the up and left/right buttons. While the game theoretically lets you back track to older zones, there wasn't much need too. As you gained new abilities that allowed access to previously inaccessible locations, the main quest funnels you back to those areas naturally. This is great because the fast travel system is very limited, as it only allows you to go to the end or the beginning of a map. Some of the areas are huge and fighting your way back to a spot can be tedious if you don't have a reason to be there outside of just finding the currency to upgrade with. But without the back tracking, I'd say I spent a good 40 hours playing the game start to finish. For a 2D side scrolling adventure, that's pretty remarkable. I never felt like the game wasted my time at any point. In the end its a interesting ARPG, with a fun but flawed story that will keep you entertained for hours on end. The most unique aspect is the hybrid hack and slash turn based system for people like me that hate turn based games.
  3. There is nothing like random spiders coming down from the AC vent over your bed. I swear this is happened 4 times that I know of, or thought I knew of in the past 4-5 years. I'd wake up in the middle of the night, and the small illumination from my room fan would let me see a damn spider hanging in front of my face. I'd swat at it, not feel anything and go back to sleep. At fist I chalked it up to being still half asleep and maybe I was just seeing things. Then one time I woke up with a somewhat swollen red patch inside my bicep that was warm to touch all day. Then two nights ago as I put my phone on my night stand with the screen still on I saw something floating above me and I swatted it with the bed comforter. Not wanting to be bitten again, I got up, shook the bed sheets out and upon not seeing anything I went back to sleep... Yesterday I found a dead quarter sized wolf spider in the middle of the floor. I looked up a wolf spider bite and it sure enough it seems that's what bit me months ago. 🙄 Its just weird they like that particular vent. They aren't dangerous, but the bite was pretty annoying for 24 hours. Seeing as my ceiling fan blades are pretty close to the vent, it amazes me they don't get blown sideways coming down like that. I wish they'd just crawl on the wall and go somewhere else than landing on me while I sleep. -_-; Winter can't come fast enough.

XD maybe they're getting revenge on you for unconsciously eating their siblings. XD

We get wolf spiders here, I've killed a couple so far this summer in my bathroom. I think they crawled in thru the bathroom vent and somehow got in the bath tub. A good frost will kill alot of them. Hopefully a crap load of ticks will die off to. I'm tick paranoid.

  4. They've stated that all new weapons or balance altering equipment will not be in battle passes. They could always go back on their word, but at this point its not the best idea after Blops 4. Sales have been on the downward turn for years now, and when most of your playerbase abandons the game and the wales have no one to play with anymore then they go elsewhere. If I had to guess, you'll probably have to buy the battlepass, if they add an in game way to earn it, it will be absolutely absurd... like 14 hours a day grind absurd.
  5. No loot boxes will be huge. Not really familiar with now battlepass works for Fortnite, but at least all new guns that are added can be earned in game rather than some BS RNG for some OP broken weapon.
  6. Deep into it, this game is fantastic. I'm glad I discovered it because without some random ad i would have never even known about it. Now that I have a lot of party members, the diversity of set ups you can have is awesome. There are multiple support characters, heavy hitters, jugglers, and well rounded characters. The main character has middle of the road on everything but shes powerful in that she has 2 super moves. One is a powerful beam, and the other allows self revive along with mass healing of everyone that is down or low. This can only proc if she or someone else is down though. You really have to mix up your party. You technically can go without a healer, but you def can't go with all power or everyone with the same attack type. Certain enemies will only take damage if launched, while others need to have their break bar busted by a combo of low and launch attacks. Not every character has a launch or a low attack because their specialty may use the button sequence for the move. For instance, My favorite party member charges up his next attacks by using the low attack button, so he cannot break anyone's defense, while 2 of my healer characters use the launch attack buttons to heal the party. Each character has various attack types, magic projectiles, physical projectiles, and physical attacks. Some enemies can be immune to physical projectiles and others can heal off magical attacks... so even if you have a favorite party set up, you'll still be forced to change it out now and then. Even on top of that, many characters may have similar skill sets but bring different things to the table. Like three that excel at launch attacks, one just does more damage when their target is juggled in the air, one can launch multiple targets and charge the super meter faster, while the other can grapple and throw airborne targets to the ground so one of your stronger characters at ground attacks can set up. Team synergy is everything. The abilities you get make for some pretty fun platforming, but at times it can be flawed. I've only had some minor frustration with it because it COULD be a little more responsive at times. Not because of bugs or bad programming, its just the way they designed it where some things just have a little too much of a delay than I care for. But for $40, is a solid purchase, for anything less its an absolute steal.
  7. 7:00 to skip all the rehash of the original debacle.
  8. I got 2 episodes left since the dub is 2 weeks behind. But I can already see this next ep the fight is over, and the last ep is just a filler tie things up type. A friend says it ends slightly different from the manga so I'll find out. Fairy Tail YT is literally the fucking worst. There has never been a bigger group of click baiters in the history of click bait. Its always some weeb obsessed with ships and the title of their video has nothing to do with the video unless its some brief casual statement Hiro made of something that they blow way out of proportion. I wanted too see the pay off for Erza/Jellal, and most notably Juvia and Grey since Juvia deserved that payoff more than anyone. But damn these people be like GrEy & JuViA hAvE kIdS with some fan art and all they do is pump crunchy roll box sets and talk about the latest issue of 100 year quest where they don't have kids at all.
  9. I picked this up today after being fed facebook ads for it. At first I thought it was just some mobile game so I ignored the ad for the most part then as some sites posted about it I looked into it. It was $39.99, only 5gb, and 30 hours of content? The artwork was so beautiful I bought into it. So far its a lot of fun. The hybrid turn base-action combo is pretty interesting to where I can bear it. Level design is what also made me take the plunge it's pretty much exactly like DUST: An Elysian Tail. Secret areas inaccessible until you get the right ability/tools. This will feed my gaming needs until COD comes out. EDIT: there is a demo for this on PS4 as well.
  10. What a travesty this last season has been. Piss poor production values, absolute shit writing... but hey. It will still be my favorite shounen series ever. I spent more than half a decade with these characters and love them all, their bond (FRIENDSHIP!) and all that they've been through. Erza is my super ultra ultimate best girl ever that will never ever be dethroned (Sorry Minako Aino). especially after Erza vs. 100. MHA's Sports Festival is hands down the best tournament arc I've ever seen, but the Grand Magic Games of Fairy Tail is something special as well, and is the pinnacle of the series. I just wish the series got the ending it deserved with all the romance angles paying off (Juvia deserved a payoff) and a super bad ass fight with Acnologia and not some Spirit bomb rip off. People can shit on FT all the want about no one dying and no stakes, but thats Shounen for you... very few kill off characters forever. I'll still miss you Fairy Tail 😢 #MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!
  11. Cop Craft is the most underrated, under the radar series this past season. Its not some masterpiece for the ages, but damn it was a ride from start to finish. If you liked BRIGHT on Netflix, this is pretty much the anime long form of it. Action, Gore, and a splash of dry humor, packed into 12 eps is worth a watch. It will probably never get a seconds season, and thats ok. If you have 6 hours to blow, it's worth a binge.

Imma share this again because the OP is so late 90s. I just love it. One of those few I never skipped.

  12. Ooooooooh I can't wait to see what OP2 will look like!! The break has been killing me!!!!
  13. Wow.. if the CW made TWD this would be it...
  14. I wish Netflix would make Space 2099 or Buck Rogers.
  15. The hype is real. Glad this will at least start out as a same day dub. I wont have to be 3 weeks behind.
  16. It's been a long time since I've been duped hard by Netflix. I started watching Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato last night. It said Season 1, and the preview looked awesome. I was getting really into the story, the animation was stunning, the action and music were amazing... and then it ended after episode 3. -_-; Turns out it was a movie they divided up into 3 eps. WTF. Amazon has the actual series but its subbed. I guess I'll watch it one day.

Yeah maybe I'll get around to watching it one day. I dunno what it is, I loved the first season but lack the motivation to even check that out since I heard "season 2" wasn't a season.
