yay, marching band!....i did that from 7th grade all the way up until i got my first college degree.........played flute until my senior year when i switched to pit percussion...which was a hoot and i loved doing that during college....i kinda missed actually doing drill, but my back would hurt every time, so i had to stop....still did some drill in college as filler during the pre-game show every now and then...just didn't carry an instrument........there's a huge difference between high school and college marching band too, but it was a great time...i really miss it... *ahem* ANYHOO, i'll watch your video when i get home....or maybe this afternoon when i'm up here alone if i can get it to work........

I never liked Pokemon. Maybe I was too old when it came out, but it was kinda creepy to me. As for DBZ, I've never seen it all. Whenever it came on, it was always in the middle of the story and I never knew what was going. Now, I don't dislike it. It's not really one I'm interested in, though, and with it being so frickin' long, I'd rather not try and watch it. That's like Naruto. I'm sure it's good, but it's just way too long and when a series goes on for that long, it tends to ruin it after a while. I saw Wolf's Rain though. I liked it. It was rather slow for me, but it had a good story and really good characters. I just wish the plot had moved along at a little bit faster pace. *shrugs*

I was a fan of the original series, which is really one reason I didn't like the movie. I mean, in the series, there was a lot of emphasis on the character development. The movie was just kinda an excuse to play with CG. I mean, making Bruce Banner the bad guy??? WTF??? That runs totally counter to what his original character was.

Actually filmed at Anime Iowa last year, I finally got around to putting this in a video with a little music. Very limited since the only program I could get to work was Windows Movie Maker *gah*, but at least it's up. It's probally not funny if you weren't there or don't know anything about yaoi, but yeah. Just thought I'd share.

Eppy doesn't actually watch the anime. He sleeps with it under his pillow and it soaks into his brain through osmosis. And I've got an account under dubird, but I haven't finished my list yet.

Because I read anything fast. I learned to read when I was about 3 or so, and I tend to gain the meaning of a book a sentance at a time rather than a word at a time. I had one of my teachers in 3d grade didn't believe me when I had finished the assigned reading much faster than everyone else. She quized me several times until she figured out that yes, I do comprehend the written word that fast. Though, I do sometimes miss small details, which is one reason I like to re-read things, but that's little stuff like hair color or something. Sorry, there. Hey, I'm an admin, I can go offtopic now and then if I want to.

Well, the first books are written for a younger crowd, but they get better as they go along. But you have do deal with whiney emo-Harry in the fith one. *rolls eyes* I talked to my mom yesterday. She was actually at the store buying it because she didn't want to wait till she comes down in September to borrow my copy like she did the rest.

Heh. I just finished reading it. They all die. A wizard did it. Seriously, though, I did just finish and I was right about somethings. I'm rather proud of myself.

I thought Superman had already died in the comic world. I mean, not just the alternate Supermans, but all of them.

I think they did use the sound from the cartoon. Think about it. In the trailer, most people had no idea what the movie was until that sound played. Then just about everyone connected it with Transformers. *L* And I'm sorry, I liked Bumblebee, I thought he was sweet and cool and all, but I'm an Optimus Prime fan. He was my favorite in the original cartoon, and that trend continues now. And I know people are complining about his color job and new look, but I loved it! He looks so much more bad-ass in this. If they people that made the original cartoon could've draw him that way, they probally would have. He looks more...alien...I think, but he's still familar. He's got the same attitude and the same voice (a master stroke, btw, he's not Optimus Prime without that voice!).

Ok, just got back from seeing it myself. I rather enjoyed it. Not being a die-hard fan of the original, I can't comment on the discrepancies like others are doing, but I did enjoy it. And for music? I'd've been happy to hear this. Anyways, I'd go see it again in a heartbeat. It was worth the drive to the theatre to watch, and hopefully any sequals won't degrade the quality of this one. Oh, and a great quote posted on my linkshell's MB (something about a reply to some dicussion of how Transformers will never compaire to Shakespere) I would just like to add to that that there are a lot of women that age that would join.

Noticed this last week, but SciFi is now airing some anime on Monday nights. What I know of is Noien and Tokko, and they finished Macross Plus last night. I've been watching Noien, and while I'm not a fan of the animation style, I'm interested enough in the series to keep watching and find out what's happeniing. Tokko, I'm not sure of. I'll have to give it a little bit more. And Macross Plus was my first real anime that my best friend coherced me into watching, and watching it again brought back some good memories. Anyhoo, any thoughts and what they're playing or anything?

oh man, Tron is definatly one of those classics....i never wore a frisbee, but i would run around the yard pretending it was the inside of the computer...and then, when Reboot came out, i would mix the two....

Jack had one of the pieces of eight, that's what made him a Pirate Lord....i don't think Barbossa was, but it was his idea to call them all together....Barbossa and Jack were fighting over the Black Pearl....
