Civilization vs. 3rd world country. N Korea spends all its money on weapons while its people starve and live in the stone age. Unbelievable difference between the North and the South during this night time shot.

  2. I can use the forum on my blackberry its just a bit slow, 3G is great when its available, but a lot of times it wont stay stable and flip back and forth between 3G and EDGE which is considerably slower, especially when loading large multimedia pages. I'd definitely the mobile site if it were to ever happen.

  3. When it comes it big time superheroes, they generally do an outstanding job on the costumes. Especially DC. The latest movies not counting the X-men universe have done really well when it comes to that, Iron Man, Batman, Superman, Spidey. They all looked great, despite what you may have thought of the movie itself. I'm sure they'll get GL looking sharp.

Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling has your first look at the regular, "Hardened," and "Prestige" editions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in this new unboxing video. What makes the uber-expensive edition so "Prestige"? Night vision goggles maybe?

Yes, night vision goggles will be included in the top tier version of the Modern Warfare 2 release. These aren't just for show. Bowling says they're "fully functioning night vision goggles," perfect for outdoor nighttime fun or just skulking around your pitch black dungeon lair tormenting your blinded prey.

Of course, the "Prestige" edition of Modern Warfare 2 features more standard stuff too, including the exclusive art book "Behind The Lines", a special Steelbook case, and a token that allows you to download the original Call of Duty from Xbox Live Arcade or the PlayStation Network. There's also a sculpted "Soap" McTavish head, for storing your night vision goggles when not in use.

The game's not out until November, but we are absolutely looking forward to Infinity Ward attempting to outdo themselves with Modern Warfare 3's premium edition. A working Abrams tank would be a nice little bonus, don't you think?

Warner Bros. Pictures has hired X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The Proposal star Ryan Reynolds to play the title role in the anticipated Green Lantern, scheduled for a June 17, 2011 release.

Based on the DC Comics hero, the action-adventure will be directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, GoldenEye) and produced by Donald De Line and Greg Berlanti. Berlanti wrote the script with Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green.

The Hollywood trades say that Reynolds and his camp entered negotiations for the part Friday, after the studio held two rounds of screen tests, along with actors Bradley Cooper and Jared Leto. Justin Timberlake also did a screen test. The studio had holding options on the actors, but, except for Reynolds, those expired Monday. Reynolds' option would have expired end of day Friday.

Production is expected to begin in January.

The "Green Lantern" was created in 1940 by writer Bill Finger and artist Martin Nodell. Introduced in 1959, Hal Jordan is a second-generation test pilot, an ordinary man who was given the power ring and battery (lantern) by a dying alien named Abin Sur. When Abin Sur's spaceship crashed on Earth, the alien used his ring to seek out an individual to take his place as Green Lantern: someone who was "utterly honest and born without fear."

Reynolds recently starred in Fox's "Wolverine," in which he played Wade Wilson/Deadpool. The character is now being developed for a spin-off to which Reynolds is attached. He also played Hannibal King in Blade: Trinity.

The actor will next star in Buried, a dark indie drama that will begin filming shortly in Barcelona with Spanish director Rodrigo Cortes. Reynolds will play a civilian contractor who is kidnapped in Iraq and awakes in a coffin, struggling against time to coordinate a rescue even though he doesn't know where he's buried in the desert.

Justin Timberlake? are you serious? Thank god he didn't get the part.

  6. is she allowed to BG check you without reason, phone her boss and threaten to sue, tell him she told your other neighbors which is breach of several laws.

Tell him he better have an army of lawyers to win a case of a company abusing the system

Yes, there are plenty of websites you can do background checks on people. They are all paid services. If you break the law after the age of 18, your criminal records are not private, nor should they be. There is really nothing that can be done about it. Although it was a bitch move on their part.

  7. first part of the trailer made me think it was a documentary on soldiers in Africa

i want to watch this movie

That's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. It looks very interesting. I'm intrigued because it looks like finally someone made the whole alien visitation thing from a different perspective where we are the ones with bad intentions. At least that how it appears from this trailer. A new one is suppose to debut with Bruno.

BlackFilm.com says that rapper The Game is a frontrunner for the role of B.A. Baracus in director Joe Carnahan's The A-Team at 20th Century Fox. The role was originally played by Mr. T on the TV show.

If he lands the role, he would join Liam Neeson, who plays John "Hannibal" Smith, and Bradley Cooper, who is taking on the role of Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck.

The studio is eyeing a June 11, 2010 release for the action film.

The Game's acting credits include Street Kings and Waist Deep.

    Meh....
