Damn you for getting me on this.
I just constructed Hood and Yukikaze dropped from a mission. By tomorrow I should have 2 functional fleets. I made it to 4-1 and only got 32% on my first run of it with 1 leveled fleet. Unless there is an ammo depo on the map I have to replay them 2-3 times for a 1 star clear. I've basically put a whole fleet on 3 8000xp commissions and their currently on a 9hr 12000xp commish. That should get then all in the mid to upper 30s near fleet 1.
From the guide I was looking at, Elizabeth and Belfast synergize. When their paired Belfast can do heavy cruiser level damage with absurd evade and damage mitigation. Smokescreen increases evade by 30% and reduces damage taken by 30%.
Right now most my play is pretty passive. I'll run some chapters when I get off work, but through out the day I just keep the dorm stocked, manange school, and keep commissions going while placing a build order here and there.

I read Queen Elizabeth was one of the best in her class. I got her almost caught up to my main fleet. I'm mad jelly at all these people constructing Belfast in the chat feed. I've read up on best girl and I really want her on my fleet. That smokescreen proc seems pretty useful.... and as I say that I got Montpelier off a build order. noice.
Am I wrong in assuming that I'm going to get Prinz Eugen on my 8th day login? Or is she just cover art candy for the 8 day log in rewards? I only see 7 days of rewards so I'm assuming shes the prize for 8 days straight.

I'm still fleshing out a team with what little I got, but thank god for Enterprise. Jesus shes OP. I've kept her in the classroom and limit broke her accordingly as I progress and she just one shots everything, even bosses. I just wait for that sweet air strike meter to fill and its over. Poor Saratoga is just kinda back there freeloading
Even though shes just a Rare I haven't swapped out Repulse yet because shes been so good. Javelin and Indy are my vanguard along with Protoype Bulin MKII which I assume is just a junk SR (I mean her and her elite counterpart are a reward for everything just about), but shes the best I got in the spot for now until I get some newly acquired ships leveled up through commissions and the dorm. My second fleet need some love too eventually.

I downloaded Azur Lane just for shits and gigs. I normally don't do mobile games but I got a few things coming up that I'll need some entertainment where as the switch is too much of a distraction for it. Its neat so far. I did have Enterprise drop on the completion of the tutorial mission. I dunno if they just let you roll a super rare or what to suck you in, but whateves, awesome. I'll assume the only reason for the joystick is to avoid AOE and special projectile type attacks, and everyone's auto attack is unavoidable.

I guess I'll feel it when I get to 10. With my time constants lately I've put up with less boring shows. I watched the first ep of Africa Salaryman and knew it wasn't for me. I wanted to like After School Dice Club, but each ep was just the same with a different board game. Kemono Michi was funny for a little bit but also got super repetitive and I dropped that too. Outside of Friday to Saturday's super lineup of Fire Force, Dr. Stone, and MHA, there are only 2 new shows I really dig this season. Azur Lane and Stars Align which is super fucking heavy for an anime about soft tennis. (Not counting Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Kono Oto Tomare! since they're not new). I feel ya though. I put up with Black Clovers massive quality drops for a year now just because I invested in the characters.
It seems like Bibury is a pretty new studio and this is the first full length series they've done. Hopefully they learn from this and do better down the road.
As for Fire Force, Fuck Giovanni. Damn what a good villain though. Hopefully Lisa can overcome her mental condition. That was rough. Sho's power is ridiculous, it will be interesting to see how they go about countering it somehow. Joker was able to so its clearly not unbeatable. I am glad MHA is giving other characters some spotlight this season. I dig Fat Gum's character.

The quality was actually pretty good all the way through til 8. It just looked like one of those eps they licensed out or something like Ep 4 of Gurren Lagann. I would have been a little sad myself if that continued. I haven't seen 9 yet until next week. The end was cool when Laffy and Javelin save Ayanami. but long shots of the back of Belfast's head, and a bunch of close up face shots of the Sakura Empire ladies just screamed lazy to me, nothing wrong with the quality per say there they just wanted to animate mouths and eyes for half the ep.

Oof just got to Ep 8 dubbed and the quality dropped off the ledge. The water and smoke effects were as lazy as could be and it was a bunch of still frames of characters where only their mouths moved, close up face and eye shots, and dramatic character model asymmetry. Like this is some Black Clover level bad, which hasn't happened in Black Clover in a long time. Enterprise looked like she came out of the marijuana field ep of Samurai Champloo at some points. Glad they're taking a bit more time to fix this.

Ugggh, Too may best girls in one show.
Dammit Lisa, turn good! It's clear she really cares for Vulcan even though it wasn't her intent. They did a reaaaally good job, and by good job I mean super cringe and uncomfortable with that Giovanni manipulating her scene.
Its even worse for dub on holidays. Not everything was affected for Thanksgiving but they did delay Dr. Stone and Azur Lane. But at least its double episodes this week for everything that got pushed back. I'm missing my british ship waifus! 😭

I think that was a shining example of "discipline" and masterful tactics. He slowly assessed the situation with his ricochet control, and then went ham. Didn't even have to hit her directly. The writers are doing a really good job of establishing the villains to make certain characters shine. The white clad where giving everyone a run for their money when they were helping Benimaru, and at Vulcan's workshop. Arrow was definitely established as one of the strongest of the bunch. Hinawa brutalized her, and it was glorious.
On a side note Suneater's fight on MHA was pretty bad ass too. Its finally starting to get intense.

My water heater had a seizure. Made some weird sounds and made my lights go crazy in the house earlier. Wtf I can't catch a break. I took a 2 hour lunch break and drained the tank out. Im hoping it removed sediment and it'll work ok. I'm testing it tonight. I'm waiting on a handyman guy to text me back about when he can look at it. Fml.

I'm just glad Maki got her own fight finally and showed off her skills for real. It was a treat that could have gone on longer, but was still extremely satisfying.
As for Azur Lane, I don't have any attachment to the game outside of hearing about it a while back. So I'm more of a Belfast man myself.
😏 I think the dub is outstanding with the various accents. Although outside of the general hate you spoke of, I hear there is a ton of hate for Prinz Eugen's German accent. Not really sure what people expected from an anime based off a mobile game full of cosmetics and fanservicey art. Fan service aside, the battle sequences are pretty fun to watch. And yes the OP is a banger.
I heard of Didn't I say to make my abilities average in the next life through Mother's Basement, but alas it's not dubbed. It sounds similar to Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious with a female protagonist.
Bruh, whats up with the paragraphs for titles trend with anime right now? Like YU-NO: A Girl Who Chants Love at the Bound of this World. Its getting a bit silly. I get a good laugh out of Cautious Hero though.

My PC got screwed again. It wasn't just that memory stick. After I pulled a different memory stick, my hard crashes 90% stopped. I was still getting crashes about once or twice a day, but this time it was giving me blue screen errors instead of solid random crashes every 15 mins - 1 hour. All my drivers are up to date, but I kept getting driver_irql_not less or equal crashes with iastora.sys as the issue or it'd be a kmode_exception crash with no driver stated. Turns out iastora is the hard drive driver. I was worried my hard drive was failing. Doesn't look like it is. What I did was manually change the driver from the installed "Intel C220 series chipset SATA AHCI Controller" driver to the "Standard SATA AHCI Controller". As far as I can tell, that Intel driver was a couple years old and I'm guessing was not communicating correctly with my motherboard. Thats my guess at least. The motherboard has had multiple firmware updates over the year, including one earlier this year but that hard drive driver was still 2 years old. The new standard driver is recent as of this year. So far so good. Its been 3 days now and not a single crash of any kind. My PC seems stable now so I'm starting to reinstall my games and maybe I'll have the time to do that server transfer of AC since I won't have to worry about my PC crashing in the middle of a FTP connection.

I bought a new power tool set on saturday:
I checked that brickseek site and one of the home depots near me still had one in stock so I grabbed it quick. $70 off is a pretty damn good deal to me and comparable to the black friday deals last year. Most of last years BF deals for these tool sets were mostly larger combos with tools I didn't necessarily need and at a higher price, but still damn good deals. This set however has just about every tool I've been wanting except for an angle grinder. Its not brushless, but brushless tools would be more costly. That and all the brushless tool combos last black friday lacked multiple features the regular tools had like basic LED lights on the tools so you can see what you're doing.
Now that I have tools I can do repair work on my deck. Which is how my weekend went. lol. I fixed a support piece with a new 1x6. I'll replace a couple deck boards this upcoming weekend and the deck should be good enough for winter.

My computer had a heart attack yesterday morning. The freezing and rebooting that started almost a month ago from a windows update got so bad I couldn't work on the PC for longer than 15 minutes before it'd freeze again and reboot. So I set it to do a "reset" through the recovery option.. which uninstalled all my stuff but kept my personal files. Took almost 5 hours. and in the end, it froze again once yesterday and again this morning. wtf. I did a memory test and its all good. I'm about to do a full clean install but I'll have to move all my files off first. wtf. Even now I have to re-install everything, Guild Wars 2, etc.

I've been working on my gutters off and on for the last 3 weeks now. I hate these f*cking things. It wouldn't have been making repairs to these if the previous owners didn't redneck the hell out of them. I'm ten feet up in the air two days ago taking a broken piece off, only to find a hidden stripped screw thats impossible to take off, so then I have to break a piece off and my repair work looks like crap because of it.
It'll work, unlike what was there before, but I'm not pleased with it. When I can afford it I'll pay some company to come out and replace all the gutters.

It's been a long time since I've been duped hard by Netflix. I started watching Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato last night. It said Season 1, and the preview looked awesome. I was getting really into the story, the animation was stunning, the action and music were amazing... and then it ended after episode 3.
Turns out it was a movie they divided up into 3 eps. WTF. Amazon has the actual series but its subbed. I guess I'll watch it one day.
