  1. Not north easterners, Europeans.... like the fuckers that own BP.....

:bingo:exactly and not just in this country.

Shitting on people didn't start with whitey exclusively, they just figured out early on to use religion to justify their bullshit, like the Egyptian Pharaohs did. Ya know, 'I'm god incarnate now build motherfuckers!' I'd say ask the herbalist burned to death at the steak for witchcraft by the English but she's kinda been dead too long to answer us... :look:

All of humanities history is soaked in the blood sweat and tears of someone who was oppressed to make somebody else rich and powerful. Not just America and Americans, every people every place. Kings have played the god card for centuries all over the world.

Exactly. No one can name a single nation today that isn't guilty of atrocities. Every nation was formed by bloodshed. Before the Europeans came to the Americas the natives were slaughtering each other for the land.

  2. Hmm, Maybe if he would have read the first half of the second amendment as well, he wouldn't have made that part of his rant.

    The Second Amendment:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

"The term militia (pronounced /mɨˈlɪʃə/) is commonly used today to refer to a military force composed of ordinary citizens to provide defense, emergency law enforcement, or paramilitary service, in times of emergency without being paid a regular salary or committed to a fixed term of service."

In other words, the common American citizen (you and me), are the ones that make up militia. So therefore WE have the right to own firearms. The well regulated part however is something that has yet to be tested.

Gun Control = Higher Crime Rates. Statistically proven.

There are a lot of things I really don't care that people cry and bitch about... but I'll defend my right to blow your fucking head in half for breaking and entering my property to my very last breath. Taking the right away, isn't going to stop people from getting firearms. Chances are, people that that use them for terrible purposes acquired them illegally in the first place.

  3. Vampire Hunter D, Akira, Project AKO, Armitage III, and Galaxy Express 999 were the first anime I've ever experienced.

Sailor Moon was the first series I ever saw before I knew it was anime. Dragonball Z and Gundam Wing were the first series I got hooked on.

Samurai Champloo and Fullmetal Alchemist are my favorites til this day.

  4. Yeah, Its a test film apparently, but I hope they keep the same premise to the story. Scorpion as the main character is fucking awesome.

UPDATE: Jeri Ryan has revealed on her Twitter account what the video was made for - "Not a game trailer. Actually was made by the director to sell WB on his vision for a reimagined MK film."

Speculation has run rampant today with the debut of a short "Mortal Kombat" film (subtitled "Rebirth") that made its way anonymously to YouTube. Now, Latino Review reports that the film is, as many theorized, a test for a potential R-rated film reboot of the video game franchise.

The short is directed by Kevin Tancharoen, the director of last year's Fame, and features a cast that includes name actors like Michael Jai White (Jax), Jeri Ryan (Sonya Blade), Matt Mullins (Johnny Cage), Lateef Crowder (Baraka) and Ian Anthony Dale (Scorpion) with fight choreography by Larnell Stovall.

Though there is no guarantee that these actors will play the characters in a feature film version or even that a feature film will actually happen, the short is already a huge success online, with the word "Kombat" already a trending topic on Twitter.

Michael Jai White as Jax? Jeri Ryan as Sonya Blade? Baraka and Reptile as homicidal maniacs? This footage from what looks to be the next Mortal Kombat game or movie trailer is brutal, disgusting, and perfect. Reader Kev directed us to this video, featuring a realistic new take on the Mortal Kombat franchise that has more in common with movies like suspense and horror films like Seven and Saw than anything resembling the campy video game to film adaptations we've seen in the past.

Last we heard, Warner Bros. was looking to reboot the film franchise. If this is the fruit of that effort, we approve wholeheartedly.
More likely this could be a live-action trailer for the next game. Either way, we approve.

Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon has indicated that the next game in the series would be shooting for an M rating. "People want an M-rated MK....dammit we will give them an M-rated MK." This would surely do the trick.

This is way too much star power for a fan project. We're digging around for more information. Considering the timing of this trailer, however, we expect we might hear more as E3 quickly approaches.

By JUSTIN PRITCHARD, Associated Press Writer Justin Pritchard, Associated Press Writer – 1 hr 36 mins ago

LOS ANGELES – Cadmium has been discovered in the painted design on "Shrek"-themed drinking glasses being sold nationwide at McDonald's, forcing the burger giant to recall 12 million of the cheap U.S.-made collectibles while dramatically expanding contamination concerns about the toxic metal beyond imported children's jewelry.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, which announced the voluntary recall early Friday, warned consumers to immediately stop using the glasses; McDonald's said it would post instructions on its website next week regarding refunds.

The 16-ounce glasses, being sold for about $2 each as part of a promotional campaign for the movie "Shrek Forever After," were available in four designs depicting the characters Shrek, Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots and Donkey.

In the animated comedy, which debuted May 21 as the latest installment of the successful DreamWorks Animation franchise, the voice of Shrek is performed by Mike Myers of "Austin Powers" fame, Cameron Diaz performs as Princess Fiona, Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots and Eddie Murphy voices Donkey. The movie has been No. 1 at the box office since its release.

The CPSC noted in its recall notice that "long-term exposure to cadmium can cause adverse health effects." Cadmium is a known carcinogen that research shows also can cause bone softening and severe kidney problems.

In the case of the Shrek-themed glassware, the potential danger would be long-term exposure to low levels of cadmium, which could leach from the paint onto a child's hand, then enter the body if the child puts that unwashed hand to his or her mouth.

Cadmium can be used to create reds and yellows in paint. McDonald's USA spokesman Bill Whitman said a pigment in paint on the glasses contained cadmium.

"A very small amount of cadmium can come to the surface of the glass, and in order to be as protective as possible of children, CPSC and McDonald's worked together on this recall," said CPSC spokesman Scott Wolfson. He would not specify the amounts of cadmium that leached from the paint in tests, but said the amounts were "slightly above the protective level currently being developed by the agency."

Wolfson said the glasses have "far less cadmium than the children's metal jewelry that CPSC has previously recalled."

Concerns about cadmium exposure emerged in January, when The Associated Press reported that some items of children's jewelry sold at major national chains contained up to 91 percent of the metal. Federal regulators worry that kids could ingest cadmium by biting, sucking or even swallowing contaminated pendants and bracelets.

The consumer protection agency has issued three recalls this spring for jewelry highlighted in the AP stories, including products sold at Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer; at Claire's, a major jewelry and accessories chain in North America and Europe; and at discount and dollar stores.

Those recalls all involved children's metal jewelry — and all of that jewelry was made in China.

Manufactured by ARC International of Millville, N.J., the glasses were to be sold from May 21 into June. Roughly seven million of the glasses had been sold; another approximately five million are in stores or have not yet been shipped, said Whitman.

Associated Press reporters tried unsuccessfully to buy the glasses late Thursday at McDonald's in New York, Los Angeles and northern New Jersey but were alternately told the merchandise was sold out, no longer available or "there'll be more tomorrow."

The company that makes the drinking glasses said it only learned of the problem late Thursday and will look into it. Tom Reed, vice president of human resources at Arc International's plant in Millville, N.J., said the company received a copy of a McDonald's memo on the recall but has not heard anything else.

Reed would not say where the paint was made or whether it's used in Arc's other products. Arc is based in France and owns the Pyrex brand of cookware in Europe.

McDonald's said it was asking customers to stop using the glasses "out of an abundance of caution."

"We believe the Shrek glassware is safe for consumer use," Whitman said. "However, again to ensure that our customers receive safe products from us, we made the decision to stop selling them and voluntarily recall these products effective immediately."

Whitman said that as the CPSC develops new protocols and standards for cadmium in consumer products, "we adjust as necessary to ensure that our customers can continue to trust what they receive from McDonald's."

Federal scrutiny of the glasses began last week. The Washington office of U.S. Rep. Jackie Speier, a California Democrat who has proposed strictly limiting cadmium in jewelry, received what a spokesman described as an anonymous tip that testing with an X-ray gun that estimates how much cadmium an item contains indicated the metal was present in the glass paint. Speier's office requested samples of the glasses from the tipster, and upon receiving them May 27 sent them to the CPSC for further investigation.

"Our children's health should not depend on the consciences of anonymous sources," Speier said in a statement Friday. "Although McDonald's did the right thing by recalling these products, we need stronger testing standards to ensure that all children's products are proven safe before they hit the shelves."

Actor Dennis Hopper died on Saturday at the age of 74 from complications of prostate cancer, his family said. He passed away at his home in the Los Angeles suburb of Venice at 8:15 a.m. PDT, surrounded by family and friends.

In a career spanning more than 50 years, Hopper received two Oscar nominations for co-writing Easy Rider (which he also directed and starred in) and for starring in the 1986 drama Hoosiers.

Hopper co-starred alongside his mentor James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause and Giant in the 1950s and starred in such films as Apocalypse Now, Blue Velvet and Speed.

Hopper fell ill last September. He continued working almost to the very end, both on his cable TV series "Crash" and on a book showcasing his photography. But his final months were also consumed by a bitter divorce battle with his fifth wife, Victoria Duffy.

In March, Hopper was honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

Hopper is survived by four children.

  9. The RDS is for getting the Holo (which I don't have yet) for the weird steady aim bonus it apparently gives the Spas-12? :P It's supposedly like having Steady Aim equipped--like how the holo-sight on the M16 reduces bullet spread for no reason...otherwise, the Spas-12 is a beast without anything equipped, so the attachment doesn't really matter.

I'm not too sure you can get the Holographic for any secondary. I'd have to double check but I think Holo, Heart Beat, ACOG, and Thermal are all excluded from secondary weaponry. You don't have to use any attachments to unlock the next one. I remember getting the G18 extended mags just by killing enough people with it... no bullet penetration kills required.

@ Eppy... GRRR!! I hate you! :P The only thing I hate more than Martyr is Painkiller X'D

  10. :P RDS on shotguns, now THAT is a waste. Especially the Spas-12 X'D You just shoot it close to their general direction and they're dead. Grip while ADS give its unreal range. I don't even think the range meter on the stats is accurate! All the other shotguns have horrid range. I do rank the Spas-12 as the best secondary in the game, especially with Sleight of Hand on. I'll use the Glock 18 from time to time.

    I use cold blooded more for not getting annihilated by killstreaks rather than stealth... I tend to be top priority for any pavelow, predator, harrier, or chopper gunner in the sky. -_-;

I have a kill streak stopper class:

P90 Rapid Fire, Stinger, Sleight of Hand Pro, Cold Blooded Pro, Steady Aim Pro

and my Anti-Camper class (especially for wasteland)

Scar-H Noob Tube, Thumper, Sleight of Hand Pro, Danger Close Pro, Steady Aim Pro.

X'D with my semtex, thats 5 blasts into any small room, that no camper can survive.
