  1. Cop Craft is the most underrated, under the radar series this past season. Its not some masterpiece for the ages, but damn it was a ride from start to finish. If you liked BRIGHT on Netflix, this is pretty much the anime long form of it. Action, Gore, and a splash of dry humor, packed into 12 eps is worth a watch. It will probably never get a seconds season, and thats ok. If you have 6 hours to blow, it's worth a binge.

Imma share this again because the OP is so late 90s. I just love it. One of those few I never skipped.

  2.  Whew, that was a GRIND! Starting Monarch next because I have a fleet of the required ships to use for the XP farm. These priority ships are insane to unlock. I only have so many cog chips for her. I guess I need to start shelling out the 8k gold every time her large project rolls around. X_x

  3. I see Netflix stepped up their anime game just a little bit. I've been wanting to watch Akame ga Kill for the longest time and what do you know, its on Netflix and its dubbed. It was a fun watch but damn they savagely kill off a lot of characters in the most brutal fashion. There is no power of friendship to be found here. XD The last fight was 10/10. My only knock is the bit of DBZ'ism in all the fight dialogue "This is my ultimate move achieved only under these niche conditions which you now know!" XD And the constant letting the opposition prep for a big attack on both sides. Anyways, its worth a watch if you need a good violent action series to burn. I guess I'll check out Cagaster of an Insect Cage next.

  4. Big ups to FUNI to making sure the dub process for Fruits Basket Season 2 happened. I lost track since I haven't been logging in daily since the dubs all stopped from last season, but I checked in on a whim and saw the ep was uploaded a day or two ago and behold it was in English! 💓

  5. My internet went out over the weekend. Apparently the line in the ground was just very old. My cellphone gets really weak reception at the house so I can't really watch YT or even load webpages very well at times. But I learned mobile games somehow work flawlessly. XD Thankfully too, since I was able to get in a ton of Crimson Echos on AL. I just have D2 and D3 to 3 star, I have every ship except Amagi... which I will whale for at the end if she don't drop since shes top tier PvP. I'm 83% through getting Monarch, and about 20 blueprints from maxing Saint Louis. I'm glad Kaga (BB) dropped for me so I can spend all my event currency on blueprints, oil, and coins.

I also finally finished Chapter 4 of Arknights. Now that I have plenty of E2 operators, I felt confident about beating the boss. Holy shit and I barely just beat her. Myrtle is such an cheat code in this game. Is hard to believe shes only a 4 star vanguard. Yeah she only blocks one and 0 when her ability is active, but I just slap Projekt Red behind her and let the DP points come pouring in so I can set up as fast as possible. Its actually pretty boring to grind for mats and resources. I normally watch youtube or anime while I do that stuff so I actually decided to play the game again and I'm fully impressed with my upgraded units. Now that my internet is back though, i need to E2 more units to trudge into chapter 5. I already peeked at the first map design and I was like "nah fam, I need to get stronger". XD

  6. Watched Parasyte on Netflix. Overall an entertaining watch. Pretty violent, but the story and the ending fell a little short for me. Some of the characters got killed off too quickly. Feels like one of those series that could have been 2-3 seasons but they were worried they wouldn't get renewed and tried to shove it all into one.

  7. As someone that studied Nazi history extensively. The Man in the High Castle is a fascinating show on Prime Video. I was expecting it to be fully about what would happen if America and Britain lost the war, but its more about the multiverse... so its like alternate history and quantum leap combined? I definitely recommend  despite its slow start for non-history majors.

  8. Dr. Stone season 2 started... at least ep 1 of the dub is up. I adore this series so much. Its such a nerdgasm of an anime. Yeah its cheesy, and even a stretch on half the shit they do. But damn the first season was a blast and now that we're headed towards the Stone Wars. I can't wait to see where it goes.

  9. I never wanted to try to Souls game. The thought of being one shotted and having to start all over again from a single mistake always turned me off. I don't have as much time as I use to to "git gud". Fallen Order was the closest i ever played to a souls style game, but by the time you got force powers, the game became more like  inFAMOUS games than Souls. I got Elden Ring for whatever reason and honestly... I've been enjoying the hell out of it despite some soul crushing moments. I like the freedom, the exploration, finding good gear laying around without having to fight anything. Gear that will give you a fighting chance to get even better gear. You're not forced to fight any of the bosses in any particular order You can skip bosses to get to most of the world with exception of the last 2 areas. The purpose of beating bosses to to progress the story. So I've played in a way where I've gone to most the world. geared up as high as possible.. allowing me 1 fully upgraded legendary weapon.. and being able to have an easier time with the story bosses... then there are "optional" bosses that are just savage AF and HP sponges. XD I've beaten a few but some are just beyond my skill level. Either way, I highly recommend this game as a non souls fan. At the very least, its worth your money when it goes on discount sometime down the road.
