  1. by um.....oh idk DESTROYING my idea and taking it and twisting it around you're basically saying there's no way to fix any issue. Negativity always infests something and twists the positive prospective around thus creating no solution

less people = more jobs = more money = greed & gluttony = more money for businesses = constant raise in jobs and higher minimum wage = population rise = stable economy for a life time before some stupid person comes along and destroys it

there happy? threw some negative in with the positive there's no way of winning, might as well move into the forest and live off plants and die a painful diseased death from the lack of sanitation and medication and poor diet! Okay thanks for destroying my life that i set up for myself now that there's no way of getting better I think I'll just except the fact that i wont live to see 30!

*fluffs* this is why i don't like politics, always makes me aggressive in some way ._. or enraged or something *-*

    :calm:

I just thought it was me making people enraged... People are just taking my posts too serious...

But the other problems with the lack of jobs has come from exporting jobs, blue collar jobs being replaced by machines, & illegal immigrants working in this country. I don't know how true the last one is as I have never met anyone who has lost a job to someone who can't speak English.

More money does not mean better minimum wage. Minimum wage is set by the state. And when inflation goes up minimum wage may barely follow. Minimum wage only exist to destroy unionizing by people who get the short end of the stick. So someone can come along & say you're in the wrong because it's legal for your boss to pay you poorly. And the gap between the rich & the minimum wage gets larger. If it were up to me minimum wage would be set at 51% on what the highest paid person in the business makes in a day.

    ...

I agree with LW on the Pez thing.

  2. I was just going to point out that Obama is technically bi-racial and people are more eager to readily accept him as black than a mixture of two races which is actually what he has been campaigning about only he and the media tend to allude to.

Even in the news papers down where I live they hardly mentioned him bi-racial and just stated he was black.

My mother is kinda annoyed by that fact because she believes that there isn't anything to be ashamed of and that it sends the wrong message.

I had something more lengthy but decide to just delete the post to save me the trouble of being flamed. I come from a family were there is nothing wrong with dating other races and is encourage.

    :glasses:

I think it has to do with the black vote / history / etc.

Whether they're for or against him they really want to stress that black half despite that other half is white. I guess the first bi-racial president doesn't sound as uplifting. If African Americans had to refer to Obama as bi-racial maybe they would have been more likely to point out that his ancestors weren't slaves in this country.

Jokingly my greatest fear of Obama is that he'll make us play golf... I can't be quiet for that long... And when this country does have it's first actual black president that Cuba will be absorbed into Florida... Causing every white man considering running for president to feel inadequate.

    ...

... As for my sense of humor on religion, it's just that. I'm more likely to point out that the "separation of church & state" is actually to protect the church; not the state. That the USSR trying to replace religion with National Pride was bad. That the federal reserve is not runned by the government so "In God We Trust" isn't the major problem. I'd prefer The Liberty Dollar, which is The Gold Standard & says "We Trust God".

    *Edit*

Since I can no longer make threads, this is the closest thing to the topic.

Dr. Paul on Obama's inauguration speech.

  3. that's basically how you help the economy by lowering the birth rate, especially if it's unwanted. More people = more mouths to feed on a tight pay check = less things able to buy = more people out of the job because their business isn't doing well and can't play the employees = well you obviously see where this is going

Probably just kill all the people who can't help themselves like people in comas for more than a year and donate their organs to people who need it. Viola! Another issue solved *nods nods*

... As fun as murder sounds... I'm not sure killing people in comas is a good idea...

The whole country is at a point where it has to reinvent itself... Besides... Less people = less products being sold = more stores going out of business as they don't get enough shoppers = less jobs = ... well basically where you were going.

With the way inflation keeps going maybe we'll go the way Japan is going... the majority of people stop having kids & there comes a point in time where there is more old people then young people...

    ...

But back to the issue of abortion I think it's good that abortion remain a women only choice.

  4. Ok, sorry for the quick off topic, but I'm getting sick of your insulting people who have some religious faith. Just because you don't believe in any god, please don't go around calling those of us who do idiots. I don't call you stupid for not having any kind of religious faith, do I? Besides, it was joke. We're saying Obama will need all the help he can get cleaning up after Dubbya, that's all.

:nah:You can't spell believe without spelling lie.

:cape: The only way you're going to see me get near to religion is if I set GWB on fire & see what he has to say.

yes Obama has a lot to deal with and no I wouldn't want his job but as he sat there faking I mean faithing himself up 9 more ppl at the place Sledge works got their pink slips. I'm sure they'll be comforted to know that while they were losing their jobs our new pres was praying to whatever god he worships NOT

I don't give a fuck if its tradition either. Its right up there with other great traditions like having your parents choose your spouse. Its archaic and ppl need to understand that THIS IS NOT A CHRISTIAN NATION. We are united under this flag by socio political ideas not some fucking religion. As someone who turned away from ALL western religion out of pure DISGUST I find it offensive my president wastes time in their church while so many in this country suffer and lose.

:petrified:I heard even Microsoft was going to have some layoffs. I worry a little that my cousin's husband might lose his job there.

  5. The school was planning to let us watch the inauguration all through third block and lunch but the canceled school for a 60% chance of snow and like I told everyone yesturday "it isn't going to snow" so I guess I'll watch it at home if I don't get distracted
:picknose:I never knew snow could be racist...
