  1. Whenever I watch Sci-fi, there's always weird monster movies on like two legged shark or 3 headed snake that looks totally fake.

I wonder what kind of name Lifetime will change it to to attract male viewers.

    :robot:

I don't think they'll ever attract a male audiance... Too many movies about women who have just been "raped" by men. Not that I don't take that problem lightly. Just that they sound like if they could they'd do an all male version of the Holocaust.

  2. changing the name wont get more women viewers,

women generally don't like sci-fi, a name change wont solve that, unless a women is channel browsing and decides to actually pause on a channel that has a lol name

i explained it to my GF and she said: Why?? like that will make me watch it cos it has a stupid name

    :picknose:

Following this reaction Lifetime became LyfTym...

.. Also I just remembered I spell Mike, Myk...

After a new Green Lantern animated movie comes out on DVD (which I haven't read anything about yet :P), DC will be releasing Superman/Batman: Public Enemies.

I'm not impressed with the plot. But it does sound like they'll use this movie to animate a crapload of DC characters into a single movie. And that alone could make it good.

:huh:Isn't that what made the last one bad?... You know the one with "The Center"...

  4. guess we have to wait and see to be sure...
    :toughguy:

If I have to wait it'll most likely be when this is already out on DVD.

Right now I'm a little PO'ed. I found an article on Google News with a goofy pic of "Movie Deadpool" telling Logan he needed to take his temperature, but now I can't find it.

    *Edit*

    Found the pic!...

    And the article to it.

    *Final Edit*

And now Hasbro has confirmed it.

  5. :robot:

    Confirmed, unconfirmed, & reconfirmed...

I was looking on Amazon for Deadpool products when I stumbled upon a Deadpool figure that looked like it's from the movie based on the image of Logan on it so I went to Hasbro...

    http://www.hasbro.com/shop/details.cfm?guid=F4DB5F44-6F95-1014-AC4F-9CBB844E488B&product_id=23839&src=endeca

But I noted it said "Comic Series"... So I looked for figures that didn't say that & came across Logan.

    http://www.hasbro.com/shop/details.cfm?guid=F4DC130B-6F95-1014-AC4F-9CBB844E488B&product_id=23888&src=endeca

So Hasbro is basically making 2 or more versions of each character to the movie. Both based on the movie & the comics. I couldn't find "Movie Deadpool" though.

  6. That's why theres an option in most IM clients that allows you to block everyone except the people on your buddy list.

As for the article, the web is becoming a cesspool of private information. Teens upload photos and post private info like their phone number and address like it's nothing. Myspace and Facebook are prime examples of how kids have a false sense of security and post private things without thinking.

Take a look at http://www.pipl.com/ and http://www.yoname.com/ . There both sites that make it easy to find private info on a person that they themselves have made public.

I think if Teens and young adults payed a little more mind to what they make public they wouldn't run into things like stalkers.

    :noway:

I wasn't disturbed by yoname until I used Public Records Search. Although not completley accurate I found me twice. One where all the basic info was right, but didn't have my current city. And the other where it did have my current city, but not my age.

Name wise, Pipl asked for too much info... User name wise, I had a little more fun looking at some old postings. Phone wise it doesn't matter as I'll be canceling my phone anyway.

  7. the healing factor is what made him kinda nuts also ;p

but i cant imagine them fucking a char up that bad, i mean at least one film writer must have read an X-Men comic or at least googled Deadpool

guess we will have to wait for the movie

but i will be shocked if that is Deadpool

i just don't see Ryan Renalds playing that thing wither

    :robot:

His past with T-Ray really screws him up.

    Anyway the Deadpool action figure(s)...

  8. i don't think it is at all

Deadpool is a viable spin off, no producer would shit on that opportunity

also thing logically, it looks like something made in a lab, most likely is ;p

    :robot:

If I remember correctly New Line Cinema wanted the rights to make a Deadpool Movie. But 20th Century Fox claimed Deadpool as a part of the X-Men universe they had the rights to.

Not to mention Deadpool got his healing factor from the Weapon X Program that extracted it from Wolverine.

So basically now Fox has taken a dump on Deadpool.
