Personally I'd love to see Superman published by Image Comics. The possibility of Superman vs Spawn sounds interesting & all rights to Superman in the US would still belong to the creator's family.

That & I wonder how Stan Lee will act when 2013 rolls around... Assuming he'll still be around by then to have his creations end up at Dark Horse.

For example, solar flares are a top concern. Gamma ray bursts could fuck us; new research correlates the Christmas tsunami quake with a gamma ray burst. Our magnetosphere is already in flux and if that thing poops out on us we all get cancer for our birthday, if we live that long. We're due for a pole shift but there's no record of how long it takes or what happens on earth when it does.

We don't know if/what the gravitational effect lining up with the galactic center will be. It could be nothing or it could be hang onto something....

hot fuzz was utterly crap. it was a serious film up until the last 10 mins, and then turned into a spoof of commando meets hillbillies.

I never noticed the seriousness through out most of the movie.

I thought it went away when he got transfered.

Like all Simon Pegs films, i cant tell if there a comedy, horror or simply written and directed by special needs turtles while spinning on their shells whilst high on prozak and Cuban grade A coke.

Hot Fuzz is a perfect example of why i no longer have faith in Britain making anything respectable.

Shaun Of The Dead on the other hand never grabbed my interest.

I don't understand why some people date fat people. Sure if you are desperate enough but why choose to date someone you are not attracted to and risk of bone fractures..? I rather hook up with a transgendered person than ending up with a fat person. Surprisingly many transsexuals are passable and attractive that sometimes you can't even tell the difference thus many hate crimes because of that.

It almost looks like it was inspired by Dead Rising.
