  1. did anyone else notice how CN/Adult Swim screwed over One Piece fans? last saturday, ten minutes into the second episode, they showed a commercial for next weeks episodes that was completely laced with spoilers. the spoiler/commercial gave away the ending for the episode we were currently watching as well as gave away the entire outcome of next week's eps. wtf. :nonono:

  2. #1 dvd

name: Rurouni Kenshin tales of the meiji

    dvd name: A Shinobi's love

    "ep" names: schneider's bet

    The two guides

    to my angel misao

    Feng shui, surprise attack

it says they are eps 87-90 but i dont know

    #2 dvd

name:Rurouni Kenshin tales of the meiji

    dvd name: end song

"ep" name: the magic of feng shui

    Tokyo under martial law

    the enemy awaits in senjogahara

the elegy of wind and water

    end of waterings

    again they say eps 91-95

you have the beginning dvds of the last saga. the feng shui episodes were like Slayers Try to me. they didn't really need to be made. :\

The Sheishio (spelling?) sage rules supreme because of it's awesome drawing, story build-up, excellent ending stills and music themes to die for *gets goose-bumps*. Plus I love it cos it's got a lot of Hiko in it as well ^_^ *demands for some saake*

Apart from that, hmmmm ... I'd say it's a draw between the Aoshi battle-saga (which's right before the aforesaid described one), and the Shougo Saga. But, I think the latter was too slow, and the end fight was less convincing.

I expected a lot from the Black Knight Saga and it disappointed me ... just like the last saga involving the "Chi" family fued.

I've yet to watch the OVA ... how does it compare with the Kenshin saga's ?

the kyoto/shishio battle was definitely the best of the kenshin series. and to me it set the bar. unfortunately no final battles could live up to it. Shougo, the black knights, their fights with kenshin were just not that good. :\ and its a shame too because i really liked the black knights saga.

  3. She is hot! It was revealed in one of the JLU episodes that her outfit was made by Hefestus, metalsmith of the Greek Gods. Hefestus said that he likes to add a hidden weakness to all of his crafts so that no one would ever become too powerful in their use. Talk about confidence! Perhaps the weakness in her oufit is a quick, easy means of getting it on and off.

    :glomp:

lmao! now thats a weakness! X'D

  4. I rather enjoyed the JL episode where Superman gets sent FAR into the future form some blast Toy Man hit him with.

In the future, Superman had no powers and the world was one BIG desert. He survived by making a sword from some old pipe and he caught a bunch of wolf-like creatures and used them for sled dogs. He eventually found his way to the remains of the city where he bumps into the last surviving human, the immortal Savage. Savage revealed that he secceeded in destroying the Earth, but regetted it now because he was left alone. Superman helps him complete a time machine and Superman is sent back. Really cool episode.

man.. i need to get justice league on dvd so i can see these eps. O_O

    Off Topic:

When I was a kid, there came a time when I truely wondered how she, Wonderwoman, could fit in her outfit. Man, she's hot ^_^

    Off Topic:

    yes she is. sizzlin.

  5. we worked most of yesterday in the garden.. lady mowed the entire lawn (tractor is fixed, yay!) and we planted some more plants. a rubarb, cherry tomato, vinca, ferns, mandrake, foxglove and we got a little fuschia. ^_^

  6. But I didn't see what happened!

i don't know if this is what mibu is referring to or not.. but i didn't see all the eps. but if i remember right, hawkgirl's entire race is at war and they were setting up a relay of weapons to destroy the home planet of their enemies.. (or something like that) and earth just so happened to be one of the planets they needed to install one of these weapons on. hawkgirl turned on the justice league and teamed up with her former friends. they enslaved alot of humans and overpowered all the governments. at the end of it all, the were rebelled against and batman flew the justice league headquarters down onto the main weapon base to destroy it. and hawkgirl helped the justice league at the last minute. crazy stuff.

    O_O

  7. New Episodes of Justice League Unlimited start this Saturday! :D

Then I bet you 10 rep points they do end up showing it.

In the original they fought him twice. The one that killed Superman was the fight right in downtown Metropolis. He gets out of the Phantom Zome with Luthor's help, because he gets some Rd Kryptonite, and it allows him to get into the Pantom Zone when it is supercooled.

Well, that's how they show it in the original ep, anyway...Damned if I can remember the comic; I've not seen it for years...

oh sh*t! i need to see some Doomsday vs. Superman action! O_O

  8. No way!! The original Justice League cartoon did the "Death of Superman" set. Are they prolonging that area, maybe? Man, I hope they end up showing it all, because those were the best few comics, and original eps ever. Hell, the old version even showed Diana leaning on his casket all hysterical, and Batman hiding his tears...Very emotional...:(

i haven't seen all the original Justice League eps, but they did Superman vs. Doomsday in the Justice league series!? did superman actually die? O_O

*has the last comic and huge book of "Death of Superman"* those comics were amazing..

i remember at least one doomsday episode in justice league unlimited where doomsday escapes the "secret US government agency" and battles superman in an active volcano. at the end superman sends doomsday to the phantom zone.

  9. there are already a couple of doomsday episodes which unfortunately, do not repeat the events that took place in the comics. :\

the original justice league episodes were good, but i'm really liking justice league unlimited now. the characters and plots are excellent! i love how they involved the the greek gods into some of the episodes. one of my favorite eps has to be the one that involved a super atomic powered mech ravaging an entire country. supergirl, mr. atom and green arrow took it on. that thing straight up scourched the land with atomic blasts and even presumably killed mr. atom. that was some great action. :D

Booster Gold: *helps old woman cross the street*

Old woman: Why thank you Green Lantern.

Booster Gold: I'm not... *sigh* You're welcome ma'am.

    :spit:

  10. I've heard the same thing, but nothing has been officially stated that I'm aware of. Last I heard was that InuYasha is in the same boat that Berserk is in.. waiting for more manga to be finished before continuing the series. Its been what, 5 years(?) since Berserk season 1 was finished and they're just now talking about season 2 for it. i could see the same being true for inuyasha, but i wouldn't expect anything new outside of another movie or two within the next couple years. *shrug*

    (EDIT)

Whait a sec, this sounds familiar.. *checks* ahh..
