I started playing KOTOR last night. I kept running around trying to dodge enemy fire only to realize my guy wouldn't shoot his damn blaster.. after about 4 enemy encounters I realized I was doing combat completely wrong.

And Carth really isn't the best to do security. I ended up leveling that up myself because you'll want to load him up with all the blaster feats and related skill points to make him effective.

I think the based on what you do is only specific things, like how you complete quests. But most of it is dialoge. At least, I don't think I took a hit from stealing from them.

Never used auto level, but blaster is not a bad choice if you want to do that. Yeah, you get the lightsabers, but one of my playthroughs ended up being a blaster Jedi, and it worked pretty well if you get the right blasters. Not much use taking Carth along with you if you do that, though.
And you do get different powers with light vs. dark, and both playthroughs are worth it. The ending will be different depending on what you do.

Sorry, it's Shadowlands, not Corillian Run. And yeah, no Ebon Hawk the ship, but this is supposed to be a great many years before the movies, so it probally hasn't been built yet.

I can't help you there, as I didn't spend much time on Nar Shadda. Nor do I do much with the crafting. >< anyhoo, my main is on Ebon Hawk, though I have a couple on Corillian Run. Hopefully I can get a job soon and reactivate my subscription. I can't play all my characters! *lesad*

Almost done with Tomb Raider. I wanted to finish it before I moved onto another game. So much fun.

My FFXI guild pretty much all moved to GW2, and I really want to play with them again.
One of them said that the PC controls are not that hard to get the hang of if you're used to playing on PC, so that's a good sign. Just need to find the money for it. ><

I might buy the KOTOR games. $3 a piece on steam this weekend.

If you get them, download the KOTOR2 completion mod. It's not complete yet, but adds back in a lot of the stuff that was cut out to make the original ship date.

Google forced me to get a Google+ account because I logged into youtube yesterday. Youtube keeps harassing me to use my real name, I say no and the only way to keep that is to save my username preferences which auto-creates a Google+ account. wtf google.

I don't use my last name anywhere online, at least not in social sites. I signed up for G+ a while back, and if ran better on my work computer, I'd enjoy it. Well, I would if people actually USED it.
