This is gonna be great! I'm gonna have to talk to some of the book stores around here to see if they plan on getting it in so I can get it on reserve!

I'm sure that you will be able to, but it may end up being a bit more expensive...:\

Jae Lee Interview

http://www.newsarama.com/marvelnew/King/JaeLee_DarkTower.htm

NRAMA: So, to put it lightly, you’re a fan of the novel series?

JL: Oh yeah. I've always been a Stephen King fan. The man is a legend. I grew up reading his books, watching the movies based off of his work, I've even seen his A+E biography, which is truly his most amazing story. I love the Dark Tower series. I swear I'm not just saying that. Once you finish the last book, it's as if you lost your best friend. A feeling of loss and emptiness will creep in. You'll try to fill that hole by finding something else to capture your attention, but there is simply nothing else like it.

Has anyone here read Rage? I finished it yesterday and thought it was damn good, especially for one of King's first works. Damn shame he took it off the market.

or a region 0 player. i think you can buy them online easier now. I also remember seeing a website that would let you turn your dvd player into a region 0 player by inputing a series of commands into your remote..

That was a good movie. The characters were good and it was pretty close to the book. I just wish they would have put more money into the special effects. All in all, I liked it. ^__^ I'll buy the dvd when it comes out.

Does it even get a chance to come in the theatres or was this just for the (t.v.) network ?

Just tv. It was an ABC channel production. I'm sure it'll be out on dvd soon tho because it doesn't look like it'll be on tv again for a while.

I watched it with my mom (who has never read a Steven King book) and we both really liked it. The guy who played Tak was a good choice.

Stephen King books are easy to read. His books sell so damn good because just about anyone can read them and get addicted.

btw, the Dark Tower books are some of his best work. If you've never read any of his books and read just the dark tower, its fine and its a great story. But if you're a stephen king fan, the DT books are even better because a large amount of his books have some kind of tie-in or cameo, or at least some small connection to the dark tower books.
