its normal to loose power here since we get crazy amounts of snow and ice but no longer then a few hours since our towns power people and plows are close and do their jobs great. But this storm was really crazy it took out allot of towns around us due to trees snapping. The ice also made the streets almost impossible to drive on without studded tiers.

The funny thing is not everyone in my town lost power, for example my dad, he only lives 10 mins away from my moms house and he didn't loose any power at all but everyone around him did lol.

We had the fire going but that didn't do shit so we basically had to dress in layers and huddle togeathor. I called my dad to see if he had power and hes like ya why? and i'm like dad almost everyone in the town lost power and hes like oh? haha I didn't even notice. So I planned to leave and go to my dads if power didn't come back that night. But it did so I was fine.

After we got power back we turned the heat up to 75 felt like a sauna.

These past 2 days sucked. Monday I woke up erly to start watching the Battlestar Galactica Marathon but at around 2:30PM I lost power due to a crazy big ice storm. It was a sad moment for me . So I ended up just going to sleep since there was nothing else to do. After a few hours my house went from 65 degrees to 0. We ended up not having power for 2 days and it was cold as an ice monky's jibblets. Our fireplace didnt even help .

Anyway we just got out power back on after the power guys cut down trees all over the place since they where drooping over the lines.

Ya movies arnt original anymore, its sad. Although this year should be good in terms of new stuff. For example Transformers, 300, Pathfinder...and so on.

I never go into movies expecting goodness. I go in with a blank mind, and since I dont read any of the books before I view the movie it makes the movie more enjoyable.

ya their was a news bit about this on digg. I guess this company is known for doing stuff like this. It goes after huge company's and trys to make money. The little company actuly has allot of major Patents which sucks since they don't use them for anything lol.

never had them since I got most of my molers (4) + some other small teeth (3) taken out when I needed braces. I can remember going though the same things tough. I had to drink soup for weeks till the stitches fell out. even after that it was so hard to eat solid foods again .

Damn this is old news (2003) but I never herd about it until now. It looks so cool! They have a life sized Gundam RX-78 (well upper half only) but still it looks so sick! They even have a shooting range where you can fire a Zaku machine gun. I wish I had some extra cash to go visit this place.

Its simple but it looks like its gonna be a sick game to play with friends.

My dad discovered the band Green Day a few months ago and asked me to buy him the cd for Christmas. Of course he couldn't wait till then so he went out and bought the cd himself. Now for the past few months all I keep hearing is the damn cd and him talking about it and turning the music up to the point where I want to kill someone .

Its funny though since when I ask him to turn it down he turns it up like a teen would do. I wonder if Green Day does that to people lol. Anyway before he had the cd I had already gotten sick of the newest cd since they play it far to much on the radio but now I'm at the point where I cant take being in the house anymore because I know hes gonna have that shit on.

do any of you have parents like this? If so does it drive you out of your mind when they do shit like this?

They should make a battery powered real life sized Gundam that flys and walks and shoots potatoes from its beem rifle lol. If they did that id be one of the first to buy it just to terrorize the neighborhood animals and kids.

Kakuzu has 5 hearts or so they say. Something tells me he has 6 including his own and they wont find out till later lol. But anyway if they kill all the hallows like you said each one is a shinobi's heart from previase shinobi Kakuzu has killed.

As for Hidan, I have no idea. It's probably something weird they all have to do to kill him. Watch kakashi pull some sealing technique out of his ass at the last min to stop Hidan lol.

I've found a few Linux projects that take on the task of making the GUI look like windows (XP). The functionality is basically the same as well so this makes it ideal for people that are totally new to Linux or parents that wish to get their kids into Linux at an early age.

I thought it would be great to post the 2 projects and see what people think about them since there are Linux users here.
