    If its the same monitor, and he doesn't know yours is busted yet, you could always switch them... Then when he realizes his is busted you could say: "See what happens when you never turn it off!"

    And then the busted monitor is his problem. X'D

    hahaha na he already knows. I just got an e-mail back from BENQ the company that made my monitor. They sent me a form to fill out and fax back to them with my proof of purchase, which I cant find since I bought this thing 3 years ago. So I guess once I find it they will fix it. I hope I didn't throw it out.

    Don't remind me (especially considering I'm trying to get into this business), EA is royally screwing over the game industry with it's greediness as of late and it's going to make it freaking hard as hell to get a job once I hit the industry (I hate almost everything EA stands for, sure I buy their games because they damn near own the majority of the small developers but that doesn't mean I want to work for them). And with some studios closing lately (Ensemble is shutting down after Halo Wars is released, which I'm not happy about) the industry is going to start hurting.

    Microsoft isn't in as much of a bind as you put them in goku. Remember they could really care less about the game market, they make their money off of computer software and could really care less how they do in the game market (not going to lie that they'd be idiots not to care as they do but it's not their huge money maker). Again I must point out movies are really not that important when a game console comes into play. The minute movies define a console is the minute I quit gaming. Yes Blu-ray will most likely become the standard for gaming also since it can hold a crap ton of information, Sony was smart to go down that road (hell MGS4 filled a blu-ray disc) but really that won't be for awhile (and I don't use my 360 as a dvd player so I could care less what type of dvds in can play, I bought it for gaming).

    Microsoft won't lose many customers over this. Like I said the majority of 360 owners didn't buy their system for movies, they bought it to game (and game cheap, it was the cheaper of the new gen consoles before the Wii was released) and with the Netflix deal going through I don't see anyone giving up on their 360 (hell my classmates are estatic about this, no more buying dvds). Plus I'm sure the next Microsoft console is well into development (because lets face it, the 360 needs to be retired. The thing is still riddled with problems), I'm sure they've got something up their sleeves.

    If you haven't noticed MS's market shares have been on a constant decline ever since Vista was conceived and made public. With that said, I think MS is very serious about the gaming market, more serious then you may think. Sure, this whole argument wont cause MS to lose much money right now but think towards the future. Game sizes have constantly been getting bigger with more advanced graphics and in-game movies, you should know that as a game developer. The DVD format, as big as it is, still cant offer the space and quality Blu-Ray can, and since HD-DVD is basically dead MS either has to hope game developers wont go past the dual layer limit on DVDs or they will have to adopt Blu-Ray or some other format that offers such space. A perfect example of this is Assassin's Creed. The developers of the game couldn't fit the whole thing on a DVD so they where forced to go back and strip some stuff out and clean up code, which isn't a bad thing but still thats gonna cause issues in the foreseeable future. Sony's Blu-Ray format on the other hand has 30+gigs to work with.

    The whole using your game system to watch movies argument is moot in my opinion. It wont affect MS for at least another year or two or even three. The reason I say this is, because movie company's are slow at adopting new standards. They want to give people enough time to understand what the new format is and to buy a player. If MS wants to continue to allow movie support, which I'm assuming they would, Blu-Ray will most likely be added in their next system (Xbox 720?). This is why I'm saying their in a bind. On one hand they want to continue making money, but on the other they don't want to put money in their competitors hands.

    It should be interesting to see what happens.

    I cant see full games all being downloaded even if the company adopts the bittorrent protocol. With ISP's throttling and placing bandwidth caps on people I doubt this is a viable option. The whole point of HD-DVD and Blu-ray was to increase the space and quality to put content on. The down side is HD-DVD is a much smaller container then Blu-ray and Sony managed to get all the major movie company's to adopt Blu-ray over HD-DVD thus making Blu-Ray the new standard.

    Microsoft is in a bind. If they don't do something soon they'll end up losing a lot of customers. Not to mention pretty soon all the newer movies will start coming out just in Blu-ray.

    @Sledg, Radio shack was the first place I checked. They didn't have it and couldn't make a special order for me. I'll look around this week and see if any tv places have them. I could take it to a PC repair place and waste $100+ for them to fix a $20 or less problem XD.

    @GG you wanna know the funny thing? I always shut my LCD off before I go to bed but my dad keeps his own for months on end. He treats his like shit (poking the screen, smudging stuff on it..etc. We both have the same monitor yet mine brakes XD. I have a feeling I should have just left it on like my dad does.

    I had loads of freelance work to do today and of course my LCD monitor craps out. Power light shows that it's on but the display died after 5 mins of use leaving me with a big black screen of nothing. After reading some things I found on google I've come to the conclusion that either a fuse died, or one of the 4 transistors fried (it seems to happen for everyone with the same monitor I have at the same exact time, 3 years). Theres also the chance that the back light may have completely burnt out but somehow I doubt it. Both are normally cheap parts however I apparently need a special transistor that no one sells around here and I'm guessing if and when I find them there gonna cost more then a few bucks :/.

    I also contacted my LCD monitor's help e-mail to see if my warranty is still active and if they could fix it. I'm still waiting to hear from them though. It would be nice if they could replace it or at least send the parts I need so I can do it my self. I guess I'll try calling them if I don't hear from their e-mail soon.

    For now I've hooked up an old, super huge, 20 inch CLT monitor that takes up most of my table :(. I guess this will have to do till I get my LCD fixed or find a new one.

    I was thinking it was the rasengan, but when I look at that page again, there is no damage anywhere. No crater or mountains blown up like a super rasengan would make... and the way Naruto was talking it looks like he's got the move nailed down but theres no destruction anywhere.

    About the cell damage thing tho... he looks fine in sage mode but as soon as he switches off it right in the next panel hes sweating his ass off and looking exhausted. It makes me think that maybe the physical exhertion and possible cell damage can just keep building up on him beyond his tolerance point thanks to sage mode, but as soon as he drops back down from super sayian, *cough* I mean sage mode, all the damage hits him all at once? Maybe thats the biggest draw back to the power boost? *contimplates*

    I was thinking it was a new rasengan too but after reading what you said I kind of agree. Looks like he's working on something a bit diffrent. The only thing that looks weird in that page was the two mountains that look like they where split in half with the cloud above them. That could just be the landscape though.

    I think your right about the exhaustion after he switches off sage mode. The elder toad did say it required a lot of patience and determination to use. I bet it puts a huge burden on Naruto's body.

    next month FILLERS, naruto gets lost on his way to konoho, ends up in new york, meets the X-men, bonds with wolverine, trhen sets on his way, etc

    narutos imba attacks may damage him, but with kyubiis recovery power he can use them when needed, hell he survived getting a chidori through his chest

    sasuke spent 3 years learning under oro, while naruto under juriar (sp)

    but narutos training was using his nine tailed chakra, which was later decided to be way to risky, so that trainging was not as beneficial as sasukes,

    i really want naruto to become more like his father, and get a new look, cool but totally heroic

    Tsunade already said the 9 tails chakra wouldn't help Naruto if he continued to use his cell level resengan. The 9 tails recovering power only recovers Naruto's outer body, and the one time it tried to heal his hand it took more then several days. Not to mention Naruto also had Tsunade check his hand.

    The only thing Sasuke picked up from Oro~ was how to transfer his chidori into a blade, and maybe some new hand to hand moves. Everything else he's used up to this point has been things he stole from Oro when he was locked in Sasuke's mind (ie. Snake's flying out and attacking..etc).

    Naruto's hasn't used the 9 tail's power for training. This was the whole point of having Kakashi and Yamato standing by to prevent him from being consumed by the 9 tails. His training with the clones is purely him wasting ever ounce of his own chakra to the point where the 9 tails power would normaly start to leak out. Yamato obviously stops him before that happens though.

    Kakashi's already said a number of times that Naruto just has far more chakra then any normal ninja.

    the thing is naruto and sasuke are making massive jumps in strength, but the pace is inconsistant from the rest of the manga.

    sasuke took down 8 tails

    narutos strength developing faster is easily explained as he is maturing, and with that comes focus. he wouldnt ever have been able to attemp sitting still in the early books, let alone master sage mode

    but what i hope is naruto can make peace with kyubii,. like 8 tails has eight his host.

    Well the way I see it, Sasuke hasn't learned a new move on his own since Kakashi taught him chidori. Everything after that point has either been stolen (ie. absorbing Oro~) or given to him (ie. His brother giving him his eye powers). Naruto is the only one out of the two who has spent more time trying to learn useful moves. Half of which he cant use since their destroy his body.

    So I get the feeling the Mangaka is telling kids the best way to become strong is to steal lol :P.

    I two hope Naruto and the 9 tails work out some kind of agreement to work together. It seems very doubtful right now though.

    Anyway, I'm liking the pace things are going at now. If they keep this up everyone should be running into each other soon.

    I gotta get a new one for my sink... Maybe one for the fridge as my the lid for my current water container is cracking... I don't think I'll ever do the shower filter... Maybe that's just getting carried away... or not...

    Na, just for drinking water. Showers wont matter much since you have the hot water running anyway. Well, unless the water is brown or looks weird lol.

    I did that whole Alliance thing, but nobody was on it, so I never signed on again. When the first version was out, I could see Eppy and Goku, when I got the second version, I was alone *sniff*

    I had Eclipse I think for the last season ... *can't remember*

    Now it's just me and Eppy...and sometimes Dejitaru. You should try it again, it's been updated a lot by the programmer. Me and Eppy both seem to be on between 2pm-12am EST so if you wanna try go for it.

    To be fair, neither do me and eppy. We normally shut our computers, or at least Alliance, off when we go to bed. So if you do decide to join us you shouldn't have a problem with only having Alliance on in the daytime.

    As for bandwidth, you could try changing the throttle settings in Alliance to something low.

    I guess it's a pain when you have roommates that download stuff as much as yourself lol.

    I'm glad the pace is still moving fast. At least something is actually happening with the plot for a change. But damn, Naruto finished his sage training in just a few days and then Tsunade is like "Call back Naruto" like hes the trump card of the village. wtf.

    haha my thoughts exactly. That happened waaaay to fast. O well, at least things are staying intresting.

    Same as me, I used Nyoro last time as well. I'm quite pleased with there subs, which reminds me I need to go redownload the first season.
