Only movie that succeeded in making me cry. Ever. It's an anime film about a 12 year old japanese boy and his 4 year old sister trying to survive in the late days of World War 2. Excellent excellent EXCELLENT. I've never seen such haunting animation quality. Everyone needs to see this film.

If they even consider pushing the date back, I'm going to walk all the way to the animation studio (it being overseas won't stop me) and hit Tetsuya Nomura until he gives me a copy.

I'm good at photoshop, but not for the purpose of making banners. I'm more of a special effects guy. Rotoscoping Lightsabers and stuff.

Everyonce in a while I get the urge to read some fanfiction. Last week I loaded up fanfiction.net, decided to go to the Yu Yu Hakusho section, and most definetely did NOT find the sort of stories I was looking for. Instead, I was bombarded with all sorts of horribly written travesties. Now, the fact that they were so badly written wasn't the worst part, no, that had to be the plots of many of these fics. What, might I ask, is so exciting about taking characters so far out of their original personalities that it becomes ridiculous. For once, could I please read a fic that does not involve Yusuke (as a vampire of course) in a Yaoi relationship with Kurama, slitting his wrists, cruising around hell torturing women and being totally XTREME, interspersed with lyrics from some terrible emo song. And the authors for these things are usually people with names like xXhardk0r3batgirlgothmeister242424712184Xx. Whatever happened to good old adventure fics? Or, if you really want to do a romance one, writing about relationships like Yusuke and Keiko, or Kuwabara and Yukina? Why is that such a problem. Sure, people can get creative, but these fics usually twist the stories of their respective source material so much that it doesn't feel like you're reading about what the fic was based on anymore. (I used Yu Yu Hakusho for these examples.) So people, when writing fanfics, please remember that you aren't always being cool and creative when you write a story about Ash Ketchum raping Misty, killing Brock, slaughtering all his pokemon, and then crusing around Pallet Town on a motorcycle shooting up anyone who messes with him. Please.

I'm pretty damn sure its "gaio." I can't hear any t's in there. Anyways though, its not nearly the worst dub opening ever. *recalls Step Into The Grand Tour*..... and we canadians are lucky. We usually don't even get your american openings. Such as for DBGT, instead of Step Into The Grand Tour, we got the tune of Dan Dan Kokiro (the original japanese opening) with this english singing over it. It wasn't actually that bad, cause at least there was no wannabe rappers.

I'm a lot like Shogo Kawada from Battle Royale. (Which was a book first, then a movie, and then a manga, so this fits the topic. Although the manga sucked due to a shitty american adaption.)

Edit: I can't believe I forgot Yusuke from Yu Yu Hakusho. I resemble him quite a bit too.

The anime/manga selection in stores here in Canada is excellent. I've never had a problem finding anything I wanted.

I've made a rule recently never to play MMORPGs again, because I don't see the point of paying monthly fees to run around slaughtering rats or whatever it might be for the first week or two until I can afford to buy clothes, and then going to a slightly different looking area to kill the next monsters, and so on. They also just take up to much time, without enough payoff.

Little Stephanie was a little girl who always went to church. However, during sunday school, she would always fall asleep during class. So, the pastor told Little Johnny, "When she falls asleep again, stab her with this pencil."

So, the next day, during Sunday school, she fell asleep. Then, the teacher asked, "Who was Mary?" Little Johnny stabbed Strphanie with the pencil. She jerked awake and yelled, "Mother of Jesus!" The teacher said, "That's correct." The, she fell back asleep.

Then, the teacher asked, "Who created the Earth and all the creatures?" Little Johnny stabbed her again. She jerked awake and yelled, "God Almighty!" The teacher said, "That's correct." Then, she fell asleep again.

Finally, the teacher asked, "What did Eve say to Adam after she had her 37th child?" Little Johnny stabbed her again, so she jumped up, looked at Johnny, and yelled, "If you stab that thing in me again, I'm gonna break it off!"

Yeah, Bebop is excellent. And Naruto is this cool manga about Ninjas-In-Training.

I have: Dragonball 1-2, Dragonball Z 1-2, Yu Yu Hakusho volume 1-3, Gundam: The Last Outpost 1, Gundam Wing 3, and Shaman King 1. I also have all the Shonen Jumps for the last six months or so.

I enjoyed DBZ. I don't watch it anymore, due to lack of point, but I still buy and read the mangas. I'm also following DB on YTV right now, since I haven't seen the full series before. Alot of people don't like G-Gundam, but I really thought it was a refreshing break from the normal gundam forumula. As for my personal dislikes......... I don't really have anything. All Anime has its target audience, and even If I don't fall into it for a specific anime, I'll still watch it. I'll even watch stuff like Pokemon, Digimon....... who cares what people say? Its entertaining enough.

Well, I maxed out FF7's time counter. I've also played through Metal Gear Solid at least 5-6 times.
