Ever since thanksgiving its another holiday every two weeks. I don't celebrate many but others do and it interferes with my life. Don't want to accomplish anything on this rant, but wtf, enough is enough.

I had to develop an older woman fetish. After a decade my asian women fetish got old. LOL. I can say as I get older the older women I find hot does not increase, Thank God. Its a rant, that being said, As I posted in another rant, Im so sick of Nancy Grace's compassion. It's false, sure she feels bad when kids are murdered but milks it and makes money off it every night, and though I dont watch her anymore, she switched from Caliegh to haliegh. More ratings and raping a families loss. All the prime time on that channel does it. although. Mike on Prime news is better. It makes geraldo look like Oberman. Rant over. Funk Out.

anyhow, when I needed an answer to a question, I'd just google it. Been doing that and I always get at least one result that answers my question, it's always yahoo answers. So I think I'll bypass the middle man and just go there to find info. Not sure if it's got all the content I need, but it's answered my recent need for info

Any chance, pissed google search uses can all sign a petition telling google to stop result spam. There might already be one for us all to sign. All I know is those political take action petitions in the take action forum work, I'm pissed on a daily basis, even simple searches are horrible.

Finally, action, I could take. Transperacy is one thing, we should voice the Obama and congress, banks need to pay it back.

I've been avoiding politics, damn too negative. Thought this would be positive. But as long as I read it, Just saying "Shame on you" and making future regulations isn't enough. If their misuse of money is accounted for, we have the amount they need to pay back to the US citizens. That's what needs to be done. I can see why all the negative political posts. Thought it was just complaining but damn, it's right on. Depressing, out of my control, until there's somthing I can do, Gotta stay positive. At the least Obama's recognition of the truth is better than Bush's lies.

See I called it, Exxon said we should consider the recent low prices from them a rebate. To confuse into not thinking even at low prices we were being taken advantage of. They escape action by distraction time after time.

All search engines are crap now, instead of giving you the results you want they all give you the results they want you to have. Bottom line, no results you need or were looking for. I agree, and I'll leave it up to Sledge to keep us informed when there's a solution or new search engine, he's usually first to know anyhow.

Both of those are good. I used to use the free version of H/R Block but they charged for state efile. I'm very low income so, the only efile program that is entierley free Fed and state efile is Turbotax Freedom edition. I did my homework, they all say free but still most charge for state. I'm happy with Turbotax. Smart interface and looks up everything to get you the most money. I efiled Fed and State, got my accepted by notices from both in same day, less than 2 weeks for direct deposit. If you qualify for EIC or Homeowner tax credit, it does all the math, like most programs. Very good program but those other ones are good too. I just didn't want to pay for state efile.

My opinion, not meant to offend. I don't think it's that bad, I walk everday even when it was in single digits. Kinda pissed its messy out today but still glad I went for walk. This is the first winter I didnt let it control me and keep me inside. I feel great and feel this winter is pretty mild. Sure the last few were easy winters but this is till better than 3-5 winters ago, where we had high temps of zero for 3 weeks in a row. And though it may piss ppl off I dont mean too. I think the constant above then below normal temps all year are more of a sign of climate change than a tough winter. Come on this planet has had ice ages, were we to blame for that too. I know my view might anger some but remember, intelligent conversation allows any well thought out view. Sorry, dont get me wrong I hate winter but this one is still kinda mild for NY. All I can say is don't let it control you.

I'm gonna see how it all turns out, not bad. I have to say my favorite part of episode is when Starbuck had to Cremate herself. Out of respect or to keep it secret. Either way that is classic. Overall, even after all that time without BSG, I'm still watching, when they come back from the standard Scifi mid season finales it usually takes me the first new ep to get back into it but by the 2nd, I'm back to watching it and thinking plot stuff in all my free time, lol

This is a news article, says maybe congress comittee to review Bush abuse of power, but politcal debate is over.

The incoming Obama administration should launch a criminal investigation of Bush administration officials to see whether they broke the law in the name of national security, a House Democratic report said Tuesday. President-elect Barack Obama has been more cautious on the issue and has not endorsed such a recommendation.

Along with the criminal probe, the report called for a Sept. 11-style commission with subpoena power, to gather facts and make recommendations on preventing misuse of power, according to the report by the Democratic staff of the House Judiciary Committee.

The report covers Bush administration policies that Democrats have protested for some time. Among them: interrogation of foreign detainees, warrantless wiretaps, retribution against critics, manipulation of intelligence and political dismissals of U.S. attorneys.

The White House was asked for comment on the report Tuesday, but did not immediately respond.

However, in an interview this month with The Associated Press, Vice President Dick Cheney said, "I can't speak for everybody in the administration, but my view would be that the people who carried out that program _ intelligence surveillance program, the enhanced interrogation program, with respect to al Qaeda captives _ in fact were authorized to do what they did ... ."

Cheney said legal opinions supported the officials.

"And I believe they followed those legal opinions and I don't have any reason to believe that they did anything wrong or inappropriate," the vice president said.

Obama said last week in a television interview, "We're still evaluating how we're going to approach the whole issue of interrogations, detentions and so forth. And obviously we're going to be looking at past practices and I don't believe that anybody is above the law. On the other hand I also have a belief that we need to look forward as opposed to looking backwards."

Obama said intelligence officials were "extraordinarily talented people who are working very hard to keep Americans safe. I don't want them to suddenly feel like they've got to spend all their time looking over their shoulders and lawyering."

Obama said he has not made a final decision about a Sept. 11-type commission.

Say basically, No charges against Bush due to policy. I knew it was like this. Didn't know it would make the news and be over at same time.

PS If congress is thinking of reviewing Bush Abuse, I really wish there was a take action to let them know Americans want punishment.

I love Chrome, So far the above posts are right on. Its fast and smart. Im a google/gmail person anyway, so this works for me. I dont know how secure it is, but they ask ya if you want to share information from browser with google, I clicked no, but you never know. Ill try it for a few weeks, I really liked IE7 but Im impressed and will keep with chrome for now. PS Its out of Beta.

as Lady mentions. He abused the presidency and now in the closing days is ratchening it up because he wont be held responsible. About above Lady post, Bush has undone everything that is good about america, and will do all he can now to hinder Obama's change. I gave up on trying to hold him responsible, but believe me, there's tons of Bush orders in to fuck america, at least and I hope he wont invade Iran. And the icing, pardons to all bush cronies and bush, Yes a president can pardon himself, for crimes against america and the world. And I thought TV reporter Geraldo should be taken out.

The not mentioned thing here is, Pres Clinton made it possible for a new president to overrule all orders he wants from outgoing president. Its not well known, but somone in Obamas position would know.

I agree. The big three should retool in bankrupcty. As mentioned by Lady, I did work for the airlines. As I mentioned bailing out would only reward the bad system. Lady, why arent your contacts setting up take action petitions, we all should say no, to congress. They get it but we need to reinforce. Everyone getting theirs and asking for help (States included, 5 by my count but prob all) No More. Lets thin the herd, failure is an option. And a reality, Where do we draw the line. Right here, and suspend bank bail out. Its not impossible. We just gotta shout at our reps.

Ill sign any take action petitions to stop all future bailouts, bankruptcy would be a better option for auto makers, they could get rid of all bad elements and retool. With a bailout nothing gets fixed.
