ideas are always the worst part.....i just don't worry about.....when an idea strikes me, i work.....if i can't think of anything, i don't.....*shrutgs*......almost all my sigs are fairly old.....with the sig rotator, it pretty much covers all the stuff i like.....

Most people don't know about Rich Burlew, but he's the artist behind Order of the Stick, one of my favorite webcomics. He also does a lot of D&D campaigns, and has written a few bits about his process. Now, I don't know a lot of people that will be creating RPG campagins, but these are pretty good for any writing genre. So, just for the heck of it, I thought I'd post the links here if ya'll want to take a look.

i think it all depends on the story you're writing....yes, it helps to plan your character, but i don't like setting my character in stone early on.....i do things like name and physical attributes, and a minor history/personality, but i tend to write for characters that change during the story, so setting it all down so early tends to make me feel limited....

i don't know why, but that just struck me as incredibly funny!....*giggles*....good job!.....

it is hard to find good fanfiction.....i mean, a lot of fanfics seem to be written for the purpose of putting two characters together or the every preseant mary-sue.....it's getting hard to find fanfics that involve something unique.....even if it's an AU fic....if it doesn't have a plot beyond getting to people in bed, i don't see the point in writing it....

Sakaki-san is the coolest!.....i just love her character......and Chiyo-chan is just to cute!.....

it's the song that Rem sings in various parts....it was her favorite song, and Vash associates it with her.....i've got the MP3 somewhere.....used to be able to sing it by rote.....i think your pauses are in the wrong spot thought Lady........

i've only been to one anime con, Jacon, and i got to meet George Lowe, the voice of Space Ghost....*G*.....i did see Bret Weaver, but i didn't get to talk to him.....

actually, one girl did go as the manga version....with suspenders....and nothing under them....just some tape to hold them in place....they made her put a piece of cloth under them as well....it was pretty funny....and gutsy!.....i never would've had the courage to do that!.....

well, technically cosplay is dressing up and acting out that character in a contest......that's where it came from......well, used to be that....i love doing that....i went as Chocolate Misu one year....*anime civ form, no way in hell was i doing the suspenders!*......it was so much fun....i bought so much anime stuff i have no need for and i don't regret it....i would suggest waiting until the last day to buy stuff....a lot of vendors will mark things down so they have less to take back with them....i got me a $60 Vash the Stampede bust for $20 that way!.........

There's no offical reason why Knives wants to kill humanity. There's lots of theorys, but no facts.

Legato is the one that has Vash's arm, but that's only explained in the manga. Legato is just plain psycho, in my personal opinion. He does have reason for what he does, but they don't make much sense to a normal person.

Wolfwood didn't really betray Vash....he betrayed Knives.....and Legato is Knives' bitch...seriously......plus, he is the Second Most Evil Sexy Bitch i've yet to see in anime...*L*....

yes, i almost cried at the ending!....*sniffles*....but it's still a good series....unusual setting, but really good characters.....Chrno's a hoot and i just loved Azamaria.....she's just so sweet!......

oh gawd.....BSG 1980 SUCKED......big time....it was a desperate attempt to contiune the series that basicly flopped.....i've watched the entire original series, and i liked it up till then....i haven't watched the new one because it comes on at the same time as Monk....

If your only purpose of posting this thread was to bash the game, then you had no business posting it in the first place. All I've seen you do is bash the game and people who play it. The only reason I'm keeping this topic open is that there are people who actually do want to talk about it and enjoy doing so. If you don't like the game, no one is forcing you to. We all know a lot of people don't like DDR or think it's stupid or whatever. That doesn't bother us. Now, if you started this topic with an honest desire to learn about the game, that's one thing. But I have not seen one positive post from you in this topic. In fact, most of your posts seem to have been designed to start arguments instead of simply trying to learn about something. One of my jobs is to stop flame wars before they get started, and that's what I'm doing.

And no, I don't think I'm being too harsh. I'm simply trying to head off a bad argument before it gets started. That's all. I'm not trying to censor anyone or belittle anyone. I just want to keep this topic from turning into a flame war. Believe me, you've not seen me be harsh before. Most people here haven't.

Ok, that's enough. If you don't like the game, no one is forcing you to post here, nor are we strapping you to a DDR machine and forcing you to play. Unless you have an intelligent reason for not liking DDR that you would care to discuss in a mature manner, please let the rest of us continue our discussion without the negative comments. Any more (pardon the pun) 'monkey business', and I will probally become pissed off. And you don't want that. Understood?

i have yet to beat Paranoia on easy....it's so sad....i can do Hystaria on trick, but there's one section in the middle of Paranoia that i just can't get..........

DDR is a dancing game....if you look like a fool, you're not doing it right.....don't be bashing a game just because you don't happen to like it.....if you've ever seen a really good DDR dancer play, you'll understand the appeal....there are people that work up routines with current dance moves that still hit the arrows on time....that's why we like it and that's what we work towards...some, like me, are to clumsy to do that extreme, but i do enjoy beating a tough song...plus, it's great cardio-vascular exercise....

it doesn't really end on a sad note, just an odd one...it's been a long time, but i seem to remember it turning out pretty good...

he's fascinated with Tsuzuki, not out of any emotion (well, aside from lust), but because Tsuzuki isn't fully human...and he needs that to revive his half-brother so that he can kill him with his own hands...that's pretty fucked up in my opinion!

i'm not saying he's the worst out there, but he still gets my vote for Evil Sexy Bitch.....

well, i would have to say Dr. Muraki from Yami no Matsuei....he definatly gets my vote for most Evil Sexy Bitch....Legato comes a very close second, but Muraki's got him beat....

It's one of the series I grabbed at Quakecon. I loved it! Sad ending, but really interesting story. It's not often you see anime that's set in 1929 New York City.
