  1. The PS4 exclusive content will include 4 new missions, an alternate outfit, and a hacking boost. At last year's E3, the PS4 hype reel listed this as a timed exclusive which is interestingly not listed as such in this trailer. I'd also like to point out the flip flopping of the visuals for Watch Dogs, it looked amazing at E3, and some play through demos later on. Then the most recent trailer looks closer to how the last gen and Wii U versions looked, but now this trailer looks a great as E3... Click here to view the article
  2. An EA DICE animator revealed that the new Battlefield 4 expansion pack "Dragon's Teeth" will include a two handed ballistic shield. DICE was going to make the shield one handed and work in conjunction with a hand pistol, but limitations on the older gen systems made it impossible across all platforms. Because this game is on the PS3 and Xbox 360, all versions of BF4 will be limited to weapon and gadget functionality based on what those systems can handle. Its a shame they released this game on the older consoles. Now we'll have a Call of Duty style shield instead of something unique to Battlefield. Although, this shield when used by a couple squad mates at the same time could really change Operation Metro and Operation Locker matches, assuming an M320 LVG grenade could bounce off the shield. 6. Naughty Dog has possibly made one of the best looking PS4 games yet.. A note at the beginning of this clip reads "The following trailer was captured directly from a PlayStation 4", which implies that this is footage of the in-game engine and not a CGI rendered scene. If Uncharted 4 will have this much detail, I'll expect it to be one of the largest games to install in 2015.

  8. I have been uploading my PS4 videos to youtube for a while now and I wanted to make this guide to explain how it is done. Until the Playstation 4 gets an update that will allow direct video uploading / sharing to youtube, the only option available is to upload your videos to facebook. In this quick guide I explain how to save your uploaded video off of facebook in HD and then how to upload it to youtube. It is very easy. First off, you have to have a facebook account and you have to connect your PS4 account to it. If you don't want to share your videos to your friends and family, then set your PS4 to share only visible to you. Or make a group on facebook, add the friends you want to see your videos to it and then go back to your PS4 facebook settings and select that group to share videos with. Once you do that, then follow this guide for sharing to youtube. 1) You need Firefox and the Video DownloadHelper addon installed. If you already have firefox then install the addon. If you don't like firefox and prefer chrome, then good for you. Install firefox and this addon anyway just for saving your videos. You can get them from these links: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/ As you can see in this picture, the addon will add an icon with menu drop down to the top right of the browser: 2) Play a game on your PS4 and share a video to facebook. Its best if you give the video a name because it makes the video have a noticeable click-able link on facebook. On facebook, go to your timeline and click on the name of the video. This will take you to a page specifically for the video and not a popup lightbox version. You will want to be on the video page itself. If you don't name the video, you'll have to click the "your name shared a video" link instead. 3) Now that you are on the video page, do not play it. Instead click the HD button to initiate playback in HD. 4) Once the video is playing you will notice that the Video DownloadHelper icon is now animated and colorful. This means there is a video loaded that you can save. Click the icon and save the video. 5) For some reason, my screenshot did not grab the drop down menu. It shows the video name as a large garble of numbers and letters because that is how the video is saved on facebook. So rename the video to whatever you want but make sure it keeps the .mp4 extension. Also, if you accidentally started playing your video before hitting the HD button, there will be two .mp4 files listed in the Video DownloadHelper drop down. Because the file names make no sense, simply hover over each one to see the file sizes of the videos. Whichever is the largest is the HD video you want to save. 6) Your PS4 video in HD is now saved. All you have to do now is upload it to youtube. I'm assuming you have a youtube account. Sign in, click the upload link shown in this screenshot. It will bring you to this upload screen. Click the large red upload icon and select the video(s) you want to upload. 7) Now that your video is uploading, give the video a name, description and type in a bunch of tags so people can find your video easier. Choose a screenshot for your image or make your own, save it and you are all set. 8) Your Playstation 4 HD videos are now on youtube.
  9. I know we started discussing this game in the PS+ topic.. I've put about 3 hours into the game so far. I like that the game is a bit challenging and so retro. It takes no advantage of the PS4's capabilities at all except for the reload sound effects from the controller's speaker. How far is everyone in it? I've made it up to the Steel Soldier mission and moments before I beat the guy, he stomped on me and finished off my third life. I completely see his pattern now so I doubt I'll have a hard time with him again. What weapon are you currently using? I'm really enjoying the Artillery Jager with the large magazine and long range barrel (I can't remember which one). The amount of bullets that gun spits out easily makes up for the lower damage it causes. But it definitely needs that barrel for long range. The short range default is ridiculously short range. I'm thinking about trying out that hand cannon to see how effective I would be with too. Have any of you tried the different ammo that causes element damage? And I'm going to get that BBQ knife when I have the materials for it, just because it is nick named the "BBQ knife".
  10. People have speculated what the new Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be like and if developer Sledgehammer will make use of a new game engine. Today they revealed something completely unexpected. The campaign will be released as DLC and not come standard. So they're going to charge $59.99 for a multiplayer only game in 2014 and then release the actual game for more money in 2015. This DLC bullshit is really getting out of hand now. Source: http://www.callofduty.com/ (EDIT) April Fools!

  16. . I loved inFAMOUS 1. You had tremendous power, but you were still highly vulnerable to gunfire making the game challenging despite the devastation you could impose on large masses of enemies. I never did get to play 2... but I will be picking this game up for sure.

  18. http://blogs.battlefield.com/2014/01/bf4-balancing-vehicles/ DX told me about this patch earlier today. I'm glad the Mobile AA is going to be nerfed. It could shoot anything in the air from any distance with no bullet drop. It was insane how quickly it could destroy anything. But it only has 6 total missiles that is being reduced to 4? I never noticed it would run out of missiles.. I wonder if that is per the life of the vehicle or per person who enters it. Could we just jump out of the vehicle and re-enter it to get all the missiles restocked? I enjoy getting in a helicopter, but if the other team has a mobile aa, then i wouldn't even bother trying to get in the air. I thought some of these upgrades already went into effect because I was in a scout helicopter yesterday and the 25MM cannon hardly did any splash damage to infantry. Then again I was lagging, maybe it was a server issue at the time.
  19. Half Life The Third Confirmed!.... PS4 VR Confirmed! GDC: Sony Reveals Project Morpheus PlayStation 4 VR Headset Now Bethesda needs to work on Elder Scrolls VI! Which I'll assume will be a return to ObliVIon.
  20. I hope this rumor turns out to be true since I already preordered a PS4. That & I won't have to worry about not getting The Elder Scrolls Online with Oculus Rift Support if the PS4 version also has Virtual Reality Support.

  22. Over the past week Netflix has been struggling to give me half assed quality on my PS3. I thought it was a netflix issue. I checked my speedtest.net and everything seems fine. I changed my settings in Netflix to max data streaming.. I tried netflix on my laptop.. same thing.. SD. I could not get netflix to stream HD. Then I remembered I left the PS4 in standby mode last saturday so it could finish downloading that "Don't Starve" game. I turned on the PS4, it found a new update for BF4.. and now I guess I need to check my standby mode settings because I thought the PS4 would have downloaded that in the background already in standby. Anyway, I turned the PS4 completely off and checked my laptop again.. Netflix now streams in HD again. wtf. Maybe the PS4 is downloading in small increments while in standby? Maybe its communicating over my WIFI in a way that it is interfering with the packets over my WIFI? I do not know. All I do know is that if my PS4 is in standby, my Netflix over wifi looses all HD.
  23. I saw this game on Kotaku and it peaked my interest because it's puzzle platforming reminds me a little bit of limbo. The story is interesting so far and the gameplay is unique... the game it self has its bugs, but I can't complain since it was free via PS+. I love the 20s era theme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qOpaJkh4jY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nP_WaE2Lxpw
  24. At Sony's PS4 Launch event Bungie revealed that the beta for Destiny will be available for PS3 and PS4 first. As MS scores first access to DLC for COD and BF4 first, its apparent that Bungie is making a statement and MS cannot dish out enough cash for them to shy away from their new 3rd party territory in the PS4 user base.
  25. Go to the moon with this new Destiny trailer. Preorder the game for beta testing access!
